The Queen's Gambit series: On Chess and the mind and Magical Negroes

This Netflix series is the most popular and so I've been watching it. I've also read several reviews. One reviewer calls the only African-American main character to be a "Magical Negro." This

well qigong master Jim Nance is a real magical negro who offered to play me in chess.

I told him no - because obviously he would beat me - but that's not the point.

I actually played chess in first grade with my "best" friend at the time - he was adopted from Korea. He was the only Asian student in my class. As I shared with Jim - my school friend always had his home-made lunches from Tao Foods and this got me wondering about the Tao in first grade.

When Jim first arrived to Minneapolis he also had a special connection to the Tao Foods store as he had moved to the city just because of zen meditation. This was about the same time that I was playing chess obsessively with my adopted Asian friend. 1978.

So when the modern secular society uses the term "Magical Negro" it is without the acceptance that real magic is really real - and that it can still be a part of black African-american culture.

For example I was riding the bus in Minneapolis and a black activist friend whom I had shared a jail with - he asked me to join him for dinner - as he saw me on the bus. So we went to an Asian restaurant - and as we talked then I realized he actually was interested in me as a piece of meat for his lust.

So then he invited me to his apartment nearby and since I didn't want to be rude and I was curious - so I accepted. Then as we sat on the couch I explained to him my magic while he explained about being a Negro. He used the term "negro" in the ironic sense it is used today.

And so when he realized he wasn't going to get anything from me physically - he did say he could feel the energy as I sat in full lotus on the couch. So then I left and I didn't see him - he moved to New York City for graduate school.

So this is something I discussed with the qigong master as well. We both agreed in our view about sexuality but of course we kept this private - as serious qigong training goes against society.

So when I was in first grade learning chess then I realized that the Parameters of Chess were CLOSED and therefore the strategy was not infinite - in contrast to music being an open infinite creation.

I knew that chess was based on calculating - like mathematics - and that machines would take over chess, as indeed they have.

The Queen's Gambit is more about a young beautiful white female trying to succeed in a man's world - on the same terms as men. I call this Techno-Feminism because in reality "male" civilization is actually a FEMALE world. So in reality so is chess based on Techno-feminism.

The whole point of civilization is for females to use technology to try to protect themselves from rapist warmongering male primates.

And so - ironically - one strategy of females is to victimize other females based on economic hierarchy - as pawns in the game.

And so the "Magical negro" in the Queen's Gambit is seen as such a victim.

So again the irony being that the social critic term of "Magical Negro" assumes that it's just a trope used in fiction without realizing that Magical Negroes are also the real deal.

For example Jim said I could write whatever I wanted about him online and so I do. When he was being given a "tour" of our house by my mom - she was showing him the art work on the walls - and I was being laughed at by Jim. Why? We had a center wall separating the kitchen and I was behind that wall using my hands to kill fruit flies - collected from my fruit fermenting experiments. Of course the fruit flies were faster than my hands and Jim was seeing this through the BACK of his head and THROUGH the wall. He told me later why he had been laughing as my mom showed him around the wall "art."

We also played pool in the basement - even though I was never a competitive pool player. I realized that Jim is not only competitive but he can win if he wants to. The irony of "yoga competitions" or qigong masters being competitive is that Qi energy is inherently Nondual and Nonlocal.

But as the Neidan or alchemy training realizes - as is also explained in Mahayana Buddhism - there are "different levels" of consciousness based on "different levels of Emptiness."

All this does is open up our options. The key strategy is how to do more with less. So for example with proper Tummo training as the foundation - then less heating is needed in terms of cutting down trees - for say in a monastery.

Yet as Poonjaji pointed out - H.W.L. Poonja - the modern Westernized world is now so polluted that advanced yoga meditation is not very feasible. For example when the original qigong master returned to China then he said it took him two weeks to recover from all the air pollution.

As Ramana Maharshi stated - there are indeed immortal yogis in the Himalayas but they can not change the current Dharma of life on Earth.

And so games like Chess or other materialistic sports are now the dominant definition of what categorizes a "magical negro" without the real meaning being allowed.

He was claiming that Pre-Heaven is SUB-conscious. I asked - isn't it SUPER-consciousness? He said it depends on the context. Yes Pre-Heaven 'mind" is neither Sub nor Super - it is non-local.

the wood (yin qi) is yang in the heart but it is lost going out the eyes. So it has to be reverted to the yin below into Earth via fire being reverted (the spirit of the eyes). This is Permaculture.

Thanks for your input. Pre heaven can have multiple meanings relative to a topic. Shanghai is a complex place with many cultures simultaneously interacting. There are many experts of daoism and Buddhism in the city, but just like anywhere else, you would have to know where to look for them.

OK so Fire as Cinnabar has Mercury (yin qi dragon) within it but that Mercury just flies out of the EYES - UNLESS it is sunk down into the WATER whereby now it FLOATS in SUBSTANCE as SILVERY water.

So that is called "putting lead into the mercury" to cause the yin qi to sink and then the mercury to float in the water - instead of the mercury evaporating off in the fire.

So that transforms the water back into Earth as now FEMALE DRAGON or Male Tiger.

The Yuan Qi is female dragon because as mercury it is without substance - so it is yin qi but returned in Time as Superluminal Yin Matter (the Golden Key).

Within the Green Dragon is the one primordial vapor [yuan qi].

So the red light is a relativistic mass spacetime shift - while the Fa Shen is the Blue Light of the future spacetime. It can only be seen "from the future" - that guides the transformation of the yin qi into the yang qi of the yang shen - such that the physical body is pulverized - so there is no yin qi left that manifests the yang shen externally and no yang qi that manifests the yin shen (internally via the third eye as the yuan shen).

So then the lead (substance) is yin jing.

The mercury is yang jing (yin qi).

So the dragon and tiger are reversed so that yang jing as Mercury no longer flies away with yang shen.

The Red Dragon becomes Green Dragon so that the lead as yin jing goes down the front and sinks the mercury (via small universe meditation). This creates the Silver as the Moon white light of Yuan Shen (the floating metal of mercury in water).

This Yuan Shen now is sinked with the water to create Golden Light from the lead as the Tiger now combined with the Fire of the Yang Shen. So you get Yang Qi and Yang Shen combined as True Yin or Metal Tiger.

So Earth creates the Yang Shen from the yin qi built up via yang qi. So the Mercury is now Yang Qi and no longer yin qi.

The Mercury as silver yuan shen enables creation of the Golden Yang Qi as Yang shen or gold from lead.

Visually, the frequency and amplitude changes but the EAR hears no difference - both phases are the Perfect Fifth just inverted as undivided yin-yang (the Taiji). I was discussing noncommutative phase with Nobel physicist Brian Josephson - and he said that I didn't understand how octaves were a geometric logarithm - so that C to G is 3/2 yet G to C is 3/4 as the harmonic series. So I tried to point out to him that since the 2 and 4 are the SAME C as "pitch" - then in the same octave, when doubled back, you can not HAVE the same G as Both the Perfect Fifth and Perfect Fourth. Why? Because 3/4 is the reverse direction in time - so that now the "3" is the denominator as a new root tonic. And so the harmonic series assumes this is a logarithmic equation as a ratio that can be inverted - but you can not evenly divide the octave and the Perfect Fifth since 2 does not go into 3 evenly. So this means that 3/4 is actually C to F while C to G is 3/2 and the C to F was derived from doubling 2/3. So this is called the "phantom tonic" in music theory and reveals the noncommutative phase origin of the music harmonics - as Alain Connes recognizes. Let us draw up a fundamental vibration with its first and second harmonic overtones [1:2 and 2:3]….if we then shift the phase relationship, we get a totally different course of the combined curve; that is, of the pressure course [amplitude and frequency] which is apparently effective in the final analysis. When looking at both curves, one might suppose that in the two cases we should hear two sounds that are just as different. But in fact our ear does not notice any difference. biophysicist Vitus B.
