This looks like a promising design - you don't want a plastic covering that blocks the UV light - since it's the UV light that increases the Vitamin D in the mushrooms. You can "air dry" mushrooms but per food code - you can't use any dehydrators or "machines."

Of course I will not get any "flush" of Shiitake for until next Spring 2020 - if all goes well. Are there any Community Supported Agriculture shiitake farms yet?

Visually, the frequency and amplitude changes but the EAR hears no difference - both phases are the Perfect Fifth just inverted as undivided yin-yang (the Taiji). And so the harmonic series assumes this is a logarithmic equation as a ratio that can be inverted - but you can not evenly divide the octave and the Perfect Fifth since 2 does not go into 3 evenly. So this means that 3/4 is actually C to F while C to G is 3/2 and the C to F was derived from doubling 2/3. So this is called the "phantom tonic" in music theory and reveals the noncommutative phase origin of the music harmonics - as Alain Connes recognizes. Let us draw up a fundamental vibration with its first and second harmonic overtones [1:2 and 2:3]….if we then shift the phase relationship, we get a totally different course of the combined curve; that is, of the pressure course [amplitude and frequency] which is apparently effective in the final analysis.
