Drumming Flapping Sound: Diagnosing Stuck or Sticky Exhaust Manifold Valves in the engine - the Car PASSES the paper on exhaust pipe trick

How To Diagnose Sticky Engine Valves

So I just did this test and amazingly I passed! NO suction of the paper - using the one handed holding of the paper trick.

The video produces a drumming sound.

So this video uses a dollar bill Flapping visually - one handed holding of dollar bill

I suppose I should do that also but I JUST did the first test and it passed. I really want the car to pass because this kind of engine is super difficult to treat for engine problems.

So I do have the valve lifter ticking noise but I am starting to treat it with Marvel's Mystery Oil. I have not been using the recommended dose since I don't want to plug the fuel injectors. So I am slowly building up to the regular dose.

But if I do NOT treat it with MMO - then the exhaust valves will end up sticking.

Here he shows a Good one and Bad one - and there is Vibrating paper on the Good one but no INWARD SUCKING - vid

The paper makes a sucking drumming noise on the bad exhaust.

So if the exhaust valve is leaking it's sucking air back up from the exhaust INSTEAD of from the Intake manifold valves....

Dollar Bill Test again! - four vid

So the bad one again makes a drumming flapping noise.

The good one vibrates but no inward sucking beating flapping noise.

So it seems like the Dollar Bill is a more dramatic test - but it's just another "one hand" paper test. So I'm sticking with my first One Hand paper test. I think I passed the test. I don't want to do the dollar bill test.

Does Marvel Mystery Oil really WORK to fix "low compression" - ? vid
leak gas or the valve seals can become too worn to seal the gas in properly. Either way, the result is often low compression.
Sure enough the MMO FIXED the "low compression" leaking exhaust valve!!

3rd dollar bill test - but the cylinder is known to be bad - lots of flapping vid

He says - it is KIND of getting sucked in but not very easy. So a bad cylinder is not the same as an exhaust valve leaking - not quite the same symptom I guess.

Sixth Vid of paper test on exhaust pipe - flapping drumming sound again

And he FIXES it - so the paper is no longer flapping!!

How did he do it?

Oh he says you have to contact him for the secret. Hilarious.

OH I read the comments - he did a B12 treatment - which is more powerful than the typical treatment - so you idle it and then change the oil.

Paddle To the Sea - a CLASSIC film shown to us in elementary school

Canoe toy is carved in Northern Canadian and "launched"

It's adventure is followed....

The 1966 film version seen here was eventually nominated for an Academy Award two years later in 1968, for Best Short Film, because it was so beautifully done by the director - Canadian naturalist, master canoeist, artist and filmmaker Bill Mason.
We all were shown this film in 2nd grade!! Not just my school but MANY schools. Must have been part of the official school program around the Midwest?

A cabin in the woods....
I saw this film in Lamar Elementary school in El Paso Texas when I was in the 2nd, and 3 grade in 1972-73.
Wow - part of the US educational program?

Prominent Chickadee song in the snow... as Spring starts - the Chickadees start mating songs.
Wonderful! I remember as a boy watching this on a film projector at the local nature center, and numerous times in elementary school in Michigan during the 80s.
...
From 1966 until probably the late 70s, this film must have been shown in just about every Elementary School in Canada, and I can only guess at how many souls it touched, for it was this story that first introduced me to the mystical power and presence of the Great Lakes - as unique a biome as there ever was, this great used and abused and sublimely beautiful liquid heart of the continent. I am a native British Columbian, and yet this film began for me what is a near obsession with Central Canada.

Satan's Drink: Coffee Diet and Sleeping Like a Baby

Normally I avoid coffee unless I need to drive long distance and stay awake. Coffee, unlike tea, really spikes the cortisol stress levels - thereby going totally against meditation training. But at the peak of Solstice and summer the yang energy is strongest so that meditation can be minimized. We can rely on the Sun for our Shen to Qi energy conversion. So I am trying out a coffee diet.

I haven't had any coffee yet today but it really doesn't matter. This stuff is so strong that the coffee buzz will last me for two days - and I don't feel the fall out pain until the third day. But then I use full lotus meditation to increase the magnetic brain bliss. Ironically the pain of caffeine withdrawal is actually the brain's blood supply increasing as the neurons have the adenosine activated again.
The stimulant effect of coffee comes largely from the way it acts on the adenosine receptors in the neural membrane. Adenosine is a central nervous system neuromodulator that has specific receptors. When adenosine binds to its receptors, neural activity slows down, and you feel sleepy
I didn't realize that the "reality genre" is so big on Netflix - there is a whole category devoted to reality show. One of the shows is some challenge of how long people can do without sleep and what happens to them. As we know the original qigong master did the traditional highly advanced 49 day cave meditation with no sleep and in full lotus meditation the whole time - at Mt. Qingcheng. http://qigongmaster.com did that training starting at a young age and I think repeats the 49 day cave meditation every few years.

The original qigong master chastised people who drink too much caffeine. Obviously not having enough blood in the brain is gonna shut off any real meditation and sleep is what he also calls "natural meditation." So we experience our natural magnetic bliss during deep sleep when our sensation of spacetime is totally gone along with our sensation of self. So we know that is when the brain waves have the strongest amplitude but also the slowest or lowest frequency.

So we know from meditation that during sleep the yin qi returns back to the liver - and so would the shen as spirit. So we can surmise that during deep sleep - the yang qi is returning back to the lungs via deep slow breathing and thereby we get a taste of the Yuan Qi as the yang qi and yin qi return to their sources and intermingle via the lower tan t'ien.

Sleeping Like a Baby really means to have the heart spirit energy unified with the Yuan Shen and Yuan Qi together. It's quite ironic that the phrase "Sleeping Like a Baby" is the opposite of the phrase, "Cry It Out" method. One of the explanations of the "Cry It Out" method is that a baby has very strong yang qi energy and so all that crying does not harm the lung energy - whereas an adult would be very worn out from all that crying. But in reality the Cry It Out method has been proven to cause permanent damage to the dopamine receptors in the brain - from too much cortisol dopamine damage.

Why an InterMittent Fasting Advocate does NOT like Coffee - vid

So Wim Hof does drink coffee I'm pretty sure and Wim Hof only eats one meal a day.

That vid is talking about Dave Asprey constantly promoting his coffee coconut oil diet.

So with the Coffee Diet obviously you are relying on body fat instead of coconut oil.

A stress hormone from coffee increases your insulin? Crazy.

Coffee leaches minerals - potassium and magnesium. (So I drink it with spirulina).

Coffee has lots of bacteria - 2 million in coffeemakers.

THAT makes sense - I get nasty smells from drinking coffee. So I use tea tree oil as an antiseptic. We recently cleaned our coffeemaker recently with vinegar.

So in Daoism the seasonal diet is very important. Westerners do not realize that we can feed off the Sun - and normally a Coffee diet depletes the kidney energy too much. But right now in the North of Earth the Yang Solar energy is strongest for us seasonal forest people.

So normally I would be totally against the coffee diet but I can use meditation to recover from the addiction effects. Sure it might take me a couple days to recover - from lack of sleep and lack of energy. When I go into the EcoEcho Forest - I will sleep extra to recover from the coffee I drank to drive long distance.

Meditation is also what I call the Natural Resonance Revolution - it is also called the Qigong Revolution. What makes it a revolution - because of the Noncommutative Phase logic secret - a secret that took me 15 years from my "enlightenment experience" - just to formalize. So it is from music theory but it is nonwestern music theory and so goes against everything we know from being Westernized with symmetric logarithmic math logic.

Is Drinking Coffee a Sin? vid by Christian evangelicals

Qigong Master Jim Nance gave me a special gift: His Bible that he annotated from his meditation training. He said he could FEEL the Qi energy from the Bible as he read the Bible and he meditated.

The African-American church traditionally relied on fasting for visionary training much like the Native indigenous "church" training in the U.S.

So coffee causes a dopamine bliss - it is the lower frequency kidney energy being activated - just as lust is also a dopamine bliss. But unlike alcohol - Coffee does not inhibit your GABA receptors (thereby causing the relaxed sensation -
Alcohol is believed to mimic GABA's effect in the brain, binding to GABA receptors and inhibiting neuronal signaling. Alcohol also inhibits the major excitatory neurotransmitter, glutamate, particularly at the N-methyl-d-aspartate (NMDA) glutamate receptor
ironically alcohol - as I detailed - REVERSES the body's stress system by over-activating the glucocorticol receptors of the brain - and damaging the GR neurons).

The caffeine-binding adenosine A2A receptor induces age-like HPA-axis dysfunction by targeting glucocorticoid receptor function

So caffeine is definitely not as bad as alcohol or is it? That Christian evangelical minister says sugar is worse than caffeine. I suppose that is true since sugar is a chronic form similar to the acute poisoning of alcohol - sugar also increases the cortisol levels of the brain via a dopamine boosting.
We have previously shown that an anti-A2AR therapy reverts age-like memory deficits, by reestablishment of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis feedback and corticosterone circadian levels. These observations suggest that A2AR over-activation and glucocorticoid dysfunction are key events in age-related hippocampal deficits; but their direct connection has never been explored. We now show that inducing A2AR overexpression in an aging-like profile is sufficient to trigger HPA-axis dysfunction, namely loss of plasmatic corticosterone circadian oscillation, and promotes reduction of GR hippocampal levels.
Wow I used to do transgenic mouse brain slices for my job!

Hippocampal slices from [tg(CaMKII-hA2AR)] have a decreased post-tetanic potentiation (PTP), whereas long-term potentiation (LTP) was not significantly changed (Fig. 2e,g) compared to WT animals (at 32 °C).
Accordingly, recent evidence supports a pivotal role of stress hormones in neurodegenerative diseases, namely in AD42.
The hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis plays a vital role in adaptation of the organism to homeostatic challenge. The activation of the HPA axis by stress leads to rapid secretion of corticotropin releasing hormone (CRH) and arginine vasopressin (AVP) from the hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus (PVN). In turn, CRH and AVP activate the secretion of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) from the anterior pituitary, which finally stimulates the release of glucocorticoids (GC; cortisol in primates and corticosterone in rodents) from the adrenal glands. CRH is principally synthesized in the parvocellular portion of the PVN where it is co-localized with AVP. AVP acts in synergy with CRH and potentiates the ability of CRH to induce ACTH secretion. AVP is largely synthesized in the other portion of the PVN, the magnocellular region. Here, this hormone is preponderantly conveyed to the posterior pituitary, where it is stocked until release into the general circulation to participate in several actions particularly related to water control. GC readily cross the blood-brain barrier and bind to low-affinity glucocorticoid receptors (GR) and high-affinity mineralocorticoid receptors (MR). These nuclear receptors are indispensable for regular cellular activity and crucial for many central nervous system functions, including learning and memory. While MR are essentially localized in the hippocampus, GR are more ubiquitous and are particularly found in the hypothalamus and in the pituitary, but also in several structures of the limbic system (prefrontal cortex, hippocampus, and amygdala), which are highly involved in cognitive and psychological functions. All of these cerebral regions are important components of the neural circuitry mediating HPA axis activity. Indeed, while hippocampus and prefrontal cortex exert a tonic inhibition, amygdala stimulates hypothalamic neurons. In fact, though structural plasticity in hippocampus and prefrontal cortex might mediate cognitive impairment caused by severe stress, changes in amygdala are more likely to contribute to the affective aspect of stress disorders. In response to homeostatic challenge, GC stimulate in a first time (Circle 1) all physiological functions necessary to induce an adapted response to the stress (cardiovascular and metabolic) and inhibit all functions non-immediately necessary (immunity, reproduction, and growth). In a second time (Circle 2), to avoid a runaway of the HPA axis, GC exert a negative feedback at all levels of the axis (limbic, hypothalamic, and pituitary).
Why Coffee is Catholic - vid

both sugar and coffee are Islamic?
Cappuccino' takes its name from the Capuchin friars: the color of the espresso mixed with frothed milk was similar to the color of the Capuchin robe.

medical lecture:

Vid - Coffee and Adrenal Fatigue

I would say that Western civilization assumes everyone is gonna be JACKED UP on Coffee - another name for Western Civilization is Dopamine Addiction.

Real meditation relies on serotonin and then oxytocin increase. The key is a deep right side vagus nerve activation to open up the Heart Love Oxytocin - and go beyond to deep right side vagus nerve activation - slowing down the breath and heart - Sleeping Like a Baby.

We can do this through the Parasympathetic Rebound - as an opposite dialectical reversal of extreme sympathetic nervous system activation (as I've detailed in my meditation training manual pdf).
So his point is the Fat in the Coffee then Time Releases the Caffeine.
So if we fast naturally before the coffee - that should start burning fat naturally as Ketosis kicks in - and that should help delay the caffeine effect.

It's hilarious he's talking about Mycotoxins from Coffee - which is a real thing as the original qigong master emphasizes how dangerous Peanuts are due to mycotoxins - but the vid doctor is using a Toxic Marker that seriously off-gases Toxic Fumes - when he breathes in those fumes he's killing off brain cells.

A Caffeine Addict speaks out against coffee - vid

You're body adapts to the caffeine intake by producing more adenosine receptors, so yes, you may need more (over time) to feel energised. What hes not telling you is, if you lower your coffee intake or stop, it takes around 7 days for your body to adjust and dipose of the extra adenosine receptors..
So this is a fascinating dynamic to coffee addiction.

What that former Caffeine addict is saying about Cortisol is very true.

I usually get super stressed out from coffee - I get "triggered" very easily. But since we are at the peak of Yang energy - then I can just burn off the stress more easily before it is triggered...

He says he's much calmer without caffeine and more focused. Indeed! You want to rely on the Yuan Qi emanating out of the pineal gland and originating out of the heart - as your real form of energy.

Why Coffee Makes you Fat - youtube video

Catabolic - it breaks down Muscle by boosting cortisol - your Liver produces too much sugar so then your Muscles are Scavenged to get sugar.

That is also called the Sugar Blues dynamic!! That's also why the high cortisol levels cause numbness in the extremities - because the muscles are being scavenged for sugar.

He calls it a "low vibration addiction"

YES - coffee is a low frequency spirit energy - like alcohol also.

He is addicted to swearing as a low frequency spirit energy! haha.

people don't realize that the power of our minds is based on the frequency of the light - and the ultimate frequency is REVERSE TIME energy as a noncommutative phase Subharmonic of the Future.

It is the true Irony of the Universe.

Finally Diagnosing the Mystery of the Whistling Howling Noise LOUD at 70 mph

So obviously I've always been anti-mechanical but cars are interesting in that I didn't realize how important LISTENING is to diagnosing car problems, etc. Here were some tentative causes of the car whistling howling noise sound that I needed to ponder:

1) loose seals around dash air intake (why would only hear at 55 and over mph?)
2) Loose bolts around exhaust manifold or intake manifold (would hear at start up - so test this but I hear nothing)
3) Loose air intake tubing (under the air intake cover) - would hear at any speed?
4) front differential seals are dry (so rubber is rubbing on metal - getting louder at high speed - seal is all dried out).
So I spent most of the day thinking it could be one of the above mysterious Sounds but our new mechanic had claimed the sound was just "loose insulation." So that then brought up the
5) fan motor - that can get insulation in it.
But this mysterious whistling howling sound is not just when the fan is on....It's ALL the time at higher speeds.
So finally I discovered what I really thought was the problem. A truck threw a rock at the windshield - last fall - in late fall - and so I didn't drive it much since it was winter. So I didn't really notice the sound since I was not driving on the interstate. The sound is not really loud until after 60 mph. So I didn't notice the sound till the next spring. So that made me think maybe it was the windshield somehow - but I could not believe it yet. So first I had to rule out the below other sounds:
 6)  Idler Pulley whining noise
7) power steering pump
8) transmission
9) water pump
OK I didn't rule out water pump. (water pump noise vid link)  But again this sound is not at start up or idle. It's only once at least 55 mph is achieved....
Oh yeah - so then I had to consider and rule out:
10) crossbars on the roof rack.
 FINALLY I found this vid.
THIS is the sound!!  (video link)

So I had suspected that was the sound when I found these comments about the same car we have:
"hears a high pitched whistling noise at 70 mph +. ...
I just found out that my [replacement] windshield is not OEM. [original engineered manufacturing] I'm taping around the windshield to see if it wasn't sealed good enough."
Just like solving a good real mystery - it suddenly made sense.

So I just gorilla glued the driver's door Seal back into the hood. I'm hoping that helps with the sound problem. But if not then I will put silicone along the moulding gasket of the windshield - AFTER I do a "tape test."

So the noise started from the new windshield since it is not OEM (original engineered manufacturing). But that driver's door seal got even more loose - so it might be a combination situation. I did check the moulding along the windshield exterior A-pillar and sure enough - it is loose along the bottom. I found this confirming comment:

wind or whistle-type noise from the left and/or right A-pillar area at highway speeds in crosswind conditions.

This may be due to the exterior A-pillar window moulding rocking or not being fully seated.

So both the Ford and Toyota had actual service bulletins for this windshield moulding seal whistle noise!! Amazing!!

What is amazing is that people bring their cars to the mechanic - like I did - and he says - "oh it's probably just loose insulation" - and when it is actually about fixing the problem then suddenly the sound gets very serious - what's REALLY causing it? So instead of asking a mechanic to try to diagnose it - I just watched TONS of youtube virtual reality videos - to hone in on different car sounds. It took me a long time but perseverance pays off!

So obviously I have not tested my diagnosis yet - but all the circumstantial evidence points to it being correct. I literally could ONLY find that ONE video that captured the sound. The cause fit the cause of the windshield being changed. It all makes sense - I saw the moulding is low.

Here's a final great comment someone made that nails the experience:
Wind noise in both lower corners [of A-pillars] over 50 mph, at 65 [mph] gets plain old annoyingly LOUD.
So when I read that - suddenly it started making sense - and the rest of the evidence slowly built up.

This is great news since it's a lot less serious than all the other potential sound sources.

The Devil We All Know: Chemical Conspiracy as EcoCide Science

https://thedevilweknow.com/ is a new Netflix streaming doc - this environmental documentary really hit home for me.

watch in full here - free

So I have relatives that are tied to this chemical via their jobs - my dad for example knew the corporate attorney of 3M - as my mom told me - and 3M was the originator of this line of chemicals.

This is still going on. Who is going to throw away their Teflon cooking pans? I would love to do so but people are so indoctrinated by mass mind control public relations Boob Tube Convenience Consumerism that we all refuse to believe that corporate science is killing the planet.

Even one of the main victims of this chemical - in the doc - takes a 50% chance that his own infant will be born with the same devastating defects that he had to suffer through - with multiple surgeries, etc. But hey - humans are gonna keep having babies! Sorry but there are no innocent people in the modern Westernized world - this chemical has spread to all life on the Planet.

I blogged on the new duffel bag I bought - ArmySurplus. I love the Duffel Bag - but based on the Qi energy - I can feel the toxicity of that evil chemical - every time I use the bag. Sure it's water proof - but at what cost?

Is there any way to chelate fluorochemicals?

perfluorocarboxylic acids (PFCAs) and perfluoroether carboxylic acids (alternatives to PFCA-based surfactants) in hot water in a sealed reactor was investigated. Although PFCAs showed almost no decomposition in hot water at 80 °C in the absence of persulfate (S2O82−), the addition of S2O82− to the reaction system led to efficient decomposition, e
So my guess is that lots of garlic should chelate this toxic chemical.

chemistry book says each sulfur dioxide molecule causes an explosion with fluorine chemicals - google book preview

Just as plastic is often from BPA - and the "alternative" - BPA-Free is just as bad as the "alternative" to Teflon!!

Scotchguard, etc.

So one of the benefits of Organic Food is that it cleans the blood - you have less pesticides in your body if you eat organic food. But just One part per Billion is considered UNSAFE for fluorochemicals - this must be dioxin as well?
Dioxins, furans, and dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are the abbreviated names for a family of chemicals that have similar toxicity and shared chemical characteristics. The dioxins
OK so that's more like PCV - we have a PCV chair in the house - and I always keep that thing on the other side of the house and try to put it by the door to air it out - and try to keep the concentration level down. People want to claim this is a "subjective" problem - to blame the victim - well it's too bad you're so sensitive! NO - these are objectively evil chemicals.

Chemical Contaminants and Residues in Food

... fluorochemical production workers', Environ Health Perspect, 11, 1298–1305. ... (1994) ' Congener-specific levels of dioxins and dibenzofurans in U.S. food ...
D Schrenk - 2012 - ‎Technology & Engineering
So Microplastic is now raining down from the atmosphere - we all breath it in. We are all increasingly toxic humans - just as wildlife is eating and ingesting plastic. I like to fantasize about Oyster Mushrooms that can EAT oil and plastic products...

So Mother Nature in the end will recycle this toxic pollution - Science calls this "Deep Time" and makes geological memorials in case any life survives - about how modern Westernized science created EcoCide.

In other words the destruction of life on  Earth is literally an "externalized cost" to modern Westernized civilization - hence the push for colonizing the moon or Mars or whatever.

Dupont and 3M knew this chemical was toxic going a long time back - Dupont knew it was toxic back in the 1960s.

Similarly with Abrupt Global Warming - with Exxon, etc. - we can have lawsuits that ask for a financial settlement - even if it is billions - it will not "save us" from the real cost. Humans are part of Nature and we are dependent on healthy habitat with drinking water, clean air and enough fertile soil to grow food - we live by the cyclical constraints of ecology. Our whole economy as the modernized Western reality defined by logarithmic/exponential math - goes against this basic truth of reality!

When people all go to obligatory education - they are forced to accept the truth of Westernized modern reality - structurally built into the Math. Even this expose of Dupont says the corporation is good but the people working there are evil. So the corporate is SAVED as an abstract entity that legally is considered eternal and protected by the Bill of Rights, etc. This was built into the US Constitution which itself was a corporate charter created by the founding conferences - and so the Commerce Clause in the US constitution states that the right to do business across state lines supersedes any individual protection rights of citizens of the states. The Founders were aristocrats like John Jay - and so had to maintain the rule of the wealthy elite - and this was founded by logarithmic exponential science.

There is no escape from this accelerating destruction of ecology yet the Cosmic Mother via Mother Nature ultimately will transform and heal these energy blockages. All of matter is made of light and light itself is powered by spacetime itself as the Emptiness - guided by the Future as a natural harmonic healing resonance energy. The future is immaterial and yet is very real and we can transform it as well - we can capture it and absorb it and change it. Quantum biology calls this Negentropy - of course it's ignored by most of science still.

Instead we get the claims that unless you can PROVE a harm - and statistically it's not easy - then even the most obvious evidence showing a harm is still not PROOF!! The logic of true infinity is not a "proof" as defined by Western science. Western science relies on the logic of "exclusion of the middle" and "proof by contradiction." So an "opposite" equivalence has to be set up as a "control." But true infinity can never have a "double blind" standard since true infinity always exists in the future. We can logically infer the truth but we can not "prove" God or similar concepts - the Emptiness that is not Emptiness, etc. - since Western science proof relies on an external materialistic measurement using technology as a contained closed geometric symmetrical infinity.

I call this the process of the Actual Matrix Plan as a containment, measurement, standardization and mass commodified reproduction - as an actual death process. Nonwestern cultures call it "ghost pollution" - in reality a low frequency light spirit blockage of matter that we "embody." So people truly need a spacetime Emptiness Exorcism to heal themselves of these blockages. Western science as defined by symmetric mathematical logic does not provide such a process. haha.

I've put in a line about the confusion between Neolithic people and Celts, as some websites still suggest that the builders of Newgrange were ancestral to the Celts, or just plain Celts. This has been disproved in many studies over the past 15 years.78.17.11.129 (talk) 21:05, 9 July 2019 (UTC)
Well, you need some citations for that, and genetics can't actually tell you what language people spoke, which is the only useful definition of "Celts". Johnbod (talk) 01:27, 10 July 2019 (UTC)
No problem; the Yamnaya culture supplanted the neolithics, and the Celtic languages derived from the Indo-European languages that were brought west by the Yamnayans.78.17.48.107 (talk) 06:51, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
This was far too emphatic, and Reich is not a big name in Europe. Note that the article did not mention Celts or Celtic until YOU put it in! The subject is far from settled, & unlikely to be so for some decades. Johnbod (talk) 13:46, 26 August 2019 (UTC)

The Butcher Bird: In Honor of the Northern Shrike bird sounds as EcoEcho Mini-Forest fun

https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Northern_Shrike/sounds#

My first day up north after the Solstice - I heard a bird call in the mini-forest that I did not recognize! Of course I don't know all the songs and calls but this one was really wild - very loud and an amazing sound - the timbre indescribable.

If you listen to the above Shrike sounds - it is like a catbird - it imitates OTHER bird songs. But the Songs it is imitating are very bizarre to me.

Oh it was the CALL that I first heard!! Yes. - that's the third recording. I heard the SONGS when I saw the bird. I had ID'd this bird last year or the year before - it likes the edges of forest. I think it was last year that I read up on it. So it also flies into the mini-forest as well. But it hangs out on the edge.
a harsh ack (directed at most birds), a whistled breezeek (directed at raptors or other shrikes), or a jaylike jaay (directed at mammals). Nesting shrikes are very vocal; they use nasal wake and woot calls during courtship feeding and when feeding young, as well as a variety of other calls in different contexts.
This vid boasts amazing close up footage of the Shrike - by feeding it some liver!

I didn't really watch it - but I watched the Shrike closely in the wild - so I didn't need to see the vid. The beak is curved like a predator bird for sure. You can see how that curved beak just tears apart the flesh for food.

The small bird Impales its prey and will imitate other bird songs to LURE them in

it's less clear whether shrikes imitate the songs of other birds to lure them. The earliest written reference to the idea was in 1486, in the falconry and hunting instruction manual, Boke of Saint Albans:
She will stand at perch upon some tree or poste, and there make an exceedingly lamentable crye and exclamation…all to make other fowles to thinke that she is very much distressed and stands in need of ayde; whereupon the credulous sellie birds do flocke together at her call. If any happen to approach neare her, she…ceazeth on them, and devoureth them (ungrateful subtill fowle) in requital for their simplicity…
(Image is from the Boke of Saint Albans.)
The great grey shrike is the largest of the European shrikes.
If Great Grey Shrikes turn out to lure in prey by imitating its song, it's possible that related Loggerhead Shrikes do too, though it's a little less likely, since they don't sing all winter like Great Grey Shrikes.
And here's the citation for Atkinson's study:
Atkinson, Eric C. "Singing for your supper: acoustical luring of avian prey by northern shrikes." Condor (1997): 203-206.
DANG - that's really wild and pretty creepy.
Females may scold (with special calls) or even threaten (with displays) males that do not provide meals quickly enough. When females signal displeasure, males crouch and flutter the wings and tail, sing with head pointed skyward, or simply depart to continue hunting. Males sometimes perform similar displays when presenting food or just afterward.
 https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Northern_Shrike/lifehistory

there we go - the females in control.
they attack birds as large as ducks and grouse.
Oh wow - I had a grouse living right in the SAME area of the mini-forest! No more - probably got chased off by the Shrike!
When nesting they defend a large area around the nest (about 7 acres), but their hunting territory may exceed 360 acres, a very large territory for a songbird.
Wow - so I saw the Shrike last year in the same area - must nest right around there.

Truly a Northern bird indeed!! I've never noticed a Shrike in the southern-central part of Minnesota....So they migrate south in the winter and breed way up north? So... the Shrike is probably just migrating through? NO - it's too late for that. Northern Minnesota must be the edge of its breeding habitat.....

Northern Hawk Owl: At least 3 (possibly up to 5) have been seen in the Bog all winter. Best bets are at the ... Northern Shrike: Quite common. Best areas are ...
So that's the search results for Sax Zim Bog - one of the biggest winter birding sights in the world - in northern Minnesota.
I found a Northern Shrike hunting a feeder up in the Bog this morning. This bird may look small (about the size of a Robin), but is means death for songbirds and mice.

Maybe it's a Loggerhead Shrike that came north to breed?

Sure Enough - the Loggerhead Shrike is SEEN in northern minnesota in the summer! Wow!!

I had two recent meditation donations - thanks

Sorry - I didn't notice it was two different meditation donations before - thanks again for the support.

From doing the two day fast up north then I was able to clear out the liver blockage from the previous fake donation. haha. It was a very distinct feeling when that liver blockage cleared out! Kind of amazing.

I did probably six hours of full lotus meditation.

Also I walked barefoot as much as possible - for Yin Qi earth grounding in the forest.

Sleeping "off grid" in the forest - with the sweet air of the Tamaracks is a big help.

And of course doing farm work - lifting the heavy logs to haul for soaking - this is good for building qi energy.

Here is one method I use - SQUATTING while at the computer.

I squat on a bench.

In China - the females are considered to have very strong thighs - from having to use squat toilets.

So females are the original healers. Westerners do not even know how to go to the bathroom properly!

New Northern Minnesota Iris flower find!!! - glorious purple and yellow swamp flower!

There are more flowers - different kind - yellow. I identified most of these flowers - last year. So I can look up the previous blog posts.

But I found this new one...

I took several photos

Some kind of an orchid. I will ID it after I upload photos.

Ok a couple more photos?

OK what other photos?

I found a few small wild strawberries - I could definitely taste strong Strawberry flavor!

Oops - back to the EcoEcho Forest Cultivation!

https://www.minnesotawildflowers.info/flower/harlequin-blueflag

OK it's new for ME. haha. new find in my EcoEcho mini-forest!!
Minnesota has almost 50 native orchids.
OK so it's NOT an Orchid - it's an Iris!!

Here we go!

Minnesota has two native irises appropriately named "northern" and "southern" Blueflag with their respective continental ranges overlapping in the southern half of the state. Iris versicolor is the northern and predominant species from the Twin Cities up into Canada.

There are many species of blue flag iris and native plants are found along the edges of swamps, wet meadows, stream banks or in forested wetlands. ..
 Many species?
Flag iris typically refers to several species of iris plant: Iris pseudacorus, the yellow flag iris. Iris versicolor, the larger blue flag iris.
ok...

Video youtube on Northern Blueflag Iris - beautiful plant!

Oh the Yellow flag iris is Invasive - interesting. It's not native I don't think?

Nope - it's not native.

Yellow flag (Iris pseudacorus): Also known as the yellow iris and water flag, yellow flag grows wild across North America, with the exception of the Rocky Mountains. But the plant is actually native to Europe, northwest Africa, and western Asia. In fact, yellow flag is seen as an ecological threat in North America because its prolific growth can out-compete native species. Still, many gardeners prefer to use it as an ornamental pond plant due to its bright yellow flowers.

EcoEcho mini-Forest Cultivation Summer 2020 photos

So this appears to be a copulation in action - two - locusts? Crickets? Grasshoppers? - "locked" - back to back.... at first I thought it was one huge bug.

You can see the back "wings" overlapping over the other bug. I'll try ID these.

So that big 'bundle" near the top is actually about five ticks! I had this spider web in the tent - you can see the spider smaller in the left center. So I kept putting my ticks in the spider web and amazingly the spider bundled all the ticks into a big ball!! Pretty awesome.

OK here is my first batch of new logs - after soaking them - and you can see the shade cloth. So now I have close to 200 logs. A "real" shiitake forest log business has 200 logs. But some of my logs are extra big - some are maybe too small. We'll see what this Fall harvest brings....

More shade cloth - then I realized that the shade cloth should also stop the Flicker woodpecker from looking for ants in my logs! I had many spawn holes pecked out... oops.

Oh I have now a second area of logs - a pallet. I covered these also with shade cloth - this morning around five am - when the birds woke me up! The mosquitoes were not quite awake yet - so best to get up early.

These are daisies near the north end of the mini-forest. We now have many different flowers in bloom - so as I type - just found another tick crawling up my leg! Luckily there's just wood ticks up north. I have not spread deer ticks - luckily - the deer ticks are much smaller and carry Lyme's much more. I did get Lyme's but I treated it early. So anyway - I did spread buckthorn when I first looked at the land - it was in my boots! I was pulling out last remnants of buckthorn this time. I think I might even be able to stop the buckthorn! There were berries on the plants I pulled out but luckily they were not ready yet - still green and clinging to the buckthorn.

more daisies

So there is more shade cloth on the shroom logs

Lynx Emptiness Energy - I called for the Lynx and the Lynx responded

https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/mammals/canadalynx.html

I reported to the DNR my "sighting" of the Lynx in the EcoEcho mini-forest. The mini-forest is contiguous with a larger forest area - and there are state forests and national forests nearby. The Lynx territory size is 10 miles by 10 miles.

https://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2019/10/spirit-communication-with-lynx.html

Last time I heard it was last October. (Lynx call vid)

So I fasted for two days and did full lotus meditation in between doing EcoEcho shiitake shroom farming (finishing inoculation and soaking logs).

On Friday I distinctly thought - wouldn't it be cool if I heard the Lynx again? It was a very strong heart-felt intention but then I gave it to the Emptiness and forgot about the thought.

In the middle of the night I woke up - and in the total silence of the night suddenly the Lynx was calling out to me. It kept calling and calling - for over 10 minutes. It was the third time I've heard the Lynx. What are the odds - that I called out that I wanted to hear the Lynx (old drunk lady screaming vid) and then I heard it that night! I then remembered I had put that thought out there.

I found a big Norwegian Forest Cat under our cabin in Alaska - in the Wilderness - surrounded by big bear tracks and moose everywhere - with Denali in big view - the steepest mountain in the world. We named the cat Tolstoy - the Russian name for Denali - Big One - and we brought Tolstoy back to Minnesota (well he lived with me in the Arboretum in Madison WI for a semester also). Just saying - I know what it's like to be best friends with a big forest cat. (Lynx as pet - they will ATTACK humans since they're not domesticated) - vid...

https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/mammals/redsquirrel.html

So the one Pine Squirrel survived - it was born in my teepee and its parents used to loudly complain about me - sleeping in my teepee - with the squirrels. I had thought they were chipmunks but I had never seen a Pine Squirrel before - they are Red on top and White on bottom - and smaller than gray squirrels. The parents got eaten by the Lynx - that's how I reported the "sighting" - I found Lynx scat and Lynx paw prints - as it bounded up a tree to get the pine squirrels - in the winter - 2019 winter. (Video on youtube of Lynx going after squirrel) So last winter it was just that one Pine Squirrel - but I thought it had not survived the winter. I saw it this trip.

So I had thought the one survivor did not make it through the winter but this time I did see the Pine Squirrel - living in the big Tamarack trees on the north side of the mini-forest. Again it made no sound when it saw me - I wonder if it knows better - to not have the Lynx hear it!

I bought more Burlap Shade Cloth - I got another 48 feet - but it was a different company and they way over packaged it. There was the burlap itself that tied it together. Then a tightly wrap of plastic around the burlap - with a label - and you can't cut it off without cutting the burlap itself. Then a third layer of plastic around that! The first company - out of Waco - they just had one plastic cover - and no burlap tie connection - and no inner plastic wrap. Much easier to open!

OK I think that Burlap was made in China - so not the traditional Bangladesh Burlap. Bangladesh KNOWS how to package its burlap - it's being growing and selling Jute - traditionally - for who knows how long? thousands of years?

I don't know - it's Sta-Green out of Columbus Georgia. They don't have a website and doesn't even look like it's in business - but that's my guess - they probably got the same supply as DeWitt Georgia company selling burlap plant cover....

OK I'll post some mushroom photos in the next blog post - along with some EcoEcho Mini-forest photos

Wow - just as I looked up the Pine Squirrel - we had one on our bird feeder down south here! Amazing! First time I've seen one down south here.

So the Lynx is featured on the top predators animal series - saying it does a "Trip Swipe" - and can take down reindeer!! But mainly the Lynx eats mice - and can see them at 75 yards! I definitely HEARD the Lynx as the call is the SAME as I heard - as featured on the show.

72 Dangerous Animals: Asia - Wikipedia

72 Dangerous Animals: Asia is a 2018 Australian nature documentary exploring ... Below are the species shown in the program, in order of appearance and the position they ... (4th place); Eurasian lynx (5th place);
As the largest lynx species, Eurasian Lynx prey on wild ungulates but will eat smaller animals when deer are scarce. Unlike the Canada Lynx Lynx canadensis, and Iberian Lynx Lynx pardinus, this cat does not rely on hares, and thus is not dependent on fluctuating rabbit populations.
The debate continues whether or not the Canadian Lynx is in fact a separate species from the Eurasian (a.k.a. Siberian or Iberian) Lynx, or merely a sub-species.
https://thephotonaturalist.com/2019/03/22/canada-lynx-jinx-broken/

Here is the sighting of a Lynx in Northern Minnesota - and my comment last summer about my own "sighting" based on the scat and tracks and hearing it.

We never found any lynx (kits or adult) killed by wolves.
In contrast, we found several wolf pups of various age and pregnant wolves killed by lynx:
https://sidorovich.blog/2017/09/06/wolves-and-lynxes/

Amazing! I had a wolf kill of deer on the edge of the mini-forest also. I've heard wolf howls - distinctive from the local coyote pack (that seems to have been taken out as I have not heard that coyote pack in quite a while now!)

Doing 50 pushups - how strength is tied to meditation and Quantum Qi movie

Based on national averages, a 40-year-old woman should be able to do 16 push-ups and a man the same age should be able to do 27. By the age of 60, those numbers drop to 17 for men and 6 for women. Those numbers are just slightly less than what is required of Army personnel who are subjected to regular push-up tests.
If the floor-based push-up is too difficult, start by leaning against a countertop at a 45-degree angle and pressing up and down. Eventually move to stairs and then the floor.
LaLanne, who once set a world record by doing 1,000 push-ups in 23 minutes, still does push-ups as part of his daily workout.
Are you fit? Drop and do 50 push-ups

Wow -  I had no idea those average numbers were so low. I just did 50 pushups and I still have my "winter fat" since I've been sticking around home more to keep an eye on the pandemic. So I will be fasting again - and last year I was able to lose 20 pounds from fasting. This year I keep gaining it back! But for doing push ups - with more body weight then I get more resistance - so I've been enjoying doing push ups more with more body weight!
The human body is notoriously slow. One can eat a lot of food and eventually gain the same amount of weight in a few days that they lost in a month. By doing 50 pushups a day for a year, you are encouraging your body to produce human growth hormone.
Below is the program that has helped people go from 50 pushups to 80 pushups in two weeks. If your max is under 50 reps, take your current max and multiply by FOUR: This will equal what you should do daily for 10 days of the Pushup-Push Workout. So if you can do 20 pushups - only do 80 pushups a day,
 https://www.reddit.com/r/bodyweightfitness/comments/8ewi6q/goal_50_pushups_in_a_row_any_help/

So I think of pushups as the prison exercise - or the military exercise. But civilization - modern civilization essentially is a big open air prison or military. Sure I have no personal experience with prison or the military - luckily - but Mexico for example has "open air" jails - they have towns that are literally jails.

Wim Hof recommends doing push ups after doing the Tummo breathing exercises. Essentially exercise should be seen as a way to push the sympathetic nervous system to its extreme to then achieve the Parasympathetic Rebound - as a deep relaxation and serotonin bliss high.

That is how the qi energy is created and stored up - with meditation then going deeper via coherent biophoton laser spirit energy.
I just wanted to get fitter and decided to do at least 200 push-ups each day.
I had two methods that I followed. At work, I would drop to the ground each hour and just did 20. Easy and quite fast to do.
That helped in so far, that doing them was nothing special anymore. Just drop and do 20. Can be done in 30 seconds or less. Wuzzah.
What helped me increase the endurance and achieve 50+ was the pyramid method.
I would do 1, then pause for the time it took me for that 1 (I just counted in my head, as I was counting them loud when doing them). After that I would do 2, short rest again. Then 3, 4, 5 up until 10. And then back to 9, 8... finishing at 1.
The individual blocks are short enough that you can say to yourself you got this. You will curse when you first hit 10 and realize you need to go back again. But it will get easier every day. You might start cursing on your way back at 8 on the second day.
And once you finish the two pyramids with only those short breaks, doing 50 in a row is laughable.
So obviously there are "50 pushups" and then 50 pushups with good form - and done slowly - a totally different thing. I used to do - I bought a used weight lifting exercise machine - a bench press.

I remember my old neighborhood friends - when I was around 10 years old and my friend's older brother - Oh I was 15 years old when I last saw them - so maybe 14 years old - anyway they had a bench press in their basement and they played football. I was not into sports - I had played soccer but I noticed that the other males were taking it all too seriously! The fun had disappeared; I found this fascinating at a psychological level - I realized the sports had become a kind of war games training. It just seemed boring to me on a psychological level.

So when I got the bench press - it was due to meditation. So I noticed that when people get angry at me - then instead of me expressing anger back at them - their anger is now STORED IN ME as EXTRA energy - a liver blockage. And so I just need to transform that anger liver blockage extra energy into muscle - since that liver blockage is literally EXTRA QI ENERGY!!

So whenever I got yelled at - I literally SAID NOTHING - and all their anger was not stored in my liver and I quickly went down to the Bench Press - and I did reps. And so soon I got up to the "standard" minimum level of "two plates" or 225 pounds bench pressing.

So going into higher weight than that can easily be dangerous if you don't have someone helping - in case you drop the weights. I did drop the weights several times but managed to always get them off my chest. haha. It was kind of a freaky experience and there was no way I could risk that happening at over 225 pounds.

I actually told qigong master Jim Nance about my strategy on lifting weights and he agreed with it - he said - not too many people would have noticed that energy dynamic to lifting weights.

https://mdcreekmore.com/what-are-the-benefits-of-doing-50-pushups-every-day/

Qigong Master Jim Nance shared with me just how big his body used to be in terms of muscle build up. He used to lift a lot of weights. He said when he was in Turkey playing professional basketball - one time he lifted up a car so that the tire could be changed (or I think that was the reason he lifted the car). Another time when he was studying with the spiritual healer Karmu - at Harvard Square - then Karmu told Jim to collect the rent from a tenant who was not paying. Only the tenant had been one of Muhammad Ali's boxing assistants or maybe it was a body guard! Anyway the tenant, despite refusing to pay rent previously, finally decided to pay his rent and thereby not have to confront Jim physically.  was it this person? (vid interview) So Jim was super huge in terms of his muscle buildup as his dad had trained professional boxers also - and Jim's father was a military leader - and maintained his leadership by always winning fights.

So for me - I have never been physically big or strong - but because of meditation then I was able to perceive the secret energy dynamics to building up muscle and so I was able to build up a basic minimum of muscle to be considered "strong."

Qigong Master Yan Xin has a section in his book - about how a famous body lifter in China had hit his limit - so then Yan Xin just charged up the man with qi energy and then he doubled his reps!

Truly our muscles are controlled by our nervous system - and our nervous system is controlled by the Qi or Prana or N/om energy. Jim told me how he had - using his qi energy - actually moved a big car up a hill (when it had gone off the road) - with one hand!! The lady needed quick help and he didn't think twice about moving the car to get it out of the ditch or whatever. I think it was a van.

Anyway so when Jim was a very successful kungfu fighter in the 1960s - he always won but he also always cried from winning. So he saw the opponent in slow motion and he FELT the pain of the opponent - in his OWN body - before he did it to the opponent. So that is why a Chinese teacher told Jim that Jim needed to train in "internal martial arts" - because due to the truth of Nondual, Nonlocal reality - therefore truly what we see as our external physical reality - ALREADY exists inside us! Reality is truly holographic.

So the "original" qigong master - Jim told me how the original qigong master had trained to even crack open rocks using external qi energy at a distance. But that kind of use of the external qi energy was "too violent." And so the original qigong master focused on healing people instead of using the qi energy for violence.

So the first qigong master I experienced - Effie P. Chow - she emphasized this same point - that in qigong training - the energy is amplified through resonance. So she emphasizes that positive thinking is the key core to the training since each thought is then amplified through the qi energy through our body. Quantum Qi Crowdfunding Campaign- Heal Yourself, Heal the World

So a Yogi has to control their subconscious thoughts at the biophoton spirit level - at the speed of light. And this is why a qigong master even has healing happen IN the FUTURE!! So Effie P. Chow shared how often a client going to her to get healing - they will experience the healing BEFORE they physically get there for the healing. haha. http://quantumqimovie.com/

So when the book Taoist Yoga: alchemy and Immortality was written - the author assumed that the readers would also be doing physical standing active exercises as martial arts training. And so the author clarified that if the person is also doing standing active exercises then the results of meditation will be doubled.

So the key secret of qigong exercises is that we are utilizing the noncommutative phase energy of the body and mind. So in Yiquan for example you do a standing active posture that is static - in the West this is called "Isometric exercises" - when I learned about this from my female soccer coach - Mrs. Baille - I was totally intrigued. She just stood there and said you can exercise by doing this. But in fact the secret is to visualize energy from the right hand to the left foot and the left hand to the right foot, etc.

In the West we are taught that the two eyes are symmetrical and the two hands are symmetrical - but in the Hadith of Islam - Muhammad teaches that the left hand is the moon and the right hand is the sun - and yet even Allah transcends this polarity. How is that true? When we say Allah we put our tongue against the roof of our mouth to connect the Front and Back energy channels of the body. Islam was started out of alchemical training through blacksmith iron weapon technology. This goes back to Pythagorean alchemy training also.

I once had a young black male coworker ask me if I was Muslim. I had talked to him before about reading the biography of Malcolm X. I think probably that my coworker friend had seen me reading in the Somali cafe - as it was along the bus route. I used to regularly read in the Muslim cafes - even though I was the only white person there much less the only non-muslim. haha.

So the key is to know the secret of religion - based on the energy training - and how this is tied to strength as well as health and healing energy.

The source of the black meterorite Ka'bah or Kaaba is the Cosmic Mother Apopis of Egypt - the magnetic power of the Universe.

A Black Blues Musician Disrobes a white KKK "leader" - through mutual respect of differences

I just remembered a funny joke. My closest friend in high school - he went with me to pick up the bass player in our roots reggae band - I think we were going to a party together. So the bass player is African-American and my friend is Asian-American - and I'm Caucasian-American - so when the black parents open the door - my ABC friend (American Born Chinese) says,
Hi we're the Mormons.
He ended up leaving the Klan. I'm not a psychologist, I'm a musician - Ted talk vid

So he says how the KKK dudes would attend his music concerts! And he is playing blues music.

So how powerful was the blues music is convincing that klan leader of his error?
