I fixed the newly received RIDGID Micro CA-25 Inspection Camera

Wow - luckily I had a broken mini-flashlight with a battery connection metal piece that fit into the MISSING metal connector for the battery pack that just arrived this morning for the RIDGID micro CA-25 Inspection Camera.

Luckily the inside does not look nearly as bad as the top image. In fact it's mainly all black and I did use paraffin wax that is orange. So I'm not sure I'm seeing rust but probably some rust.

So I used phosphoric acid and probably black paint - I actually can't remember - AFTER I did the Eastwood treatment I think I did black paint? Anyway it's mainly black inside the internal frame.

I tried taking photos of the inspection camera but they didn't really turn out. Let's see if one loads.

No - it really didn't turn out. You can connect a cord to a larger monitor but I think you lose resolution when the image increases based on an analog connection.

OK that's how it fits in the box. I got it HALF off new price - so I suppose the battery connection got lost - the little piece of metal - and someone sold it when it was not working - since they couldn't use it anymore? Anyway NOW it is working. haha.

I'm really surprised I fixed it - and I was just wondering how to get it back in the box. I forgot how it was placed in the carrying case. So glad I found this image.

OK...

Let's see if my previous post gave the details of what I did.

OK what I can do is use a phosphoric acid treatment maybe to see if those orange spots can be converted to black. If they change color then I know they WERE rust spots and NOT paraffin wax. haha.

I got the better 360 degree spray nozzle. Let's see if I give more details in a newer post.

I think with that plate above - that will absorb stress and maintain strength - and with converting rust internally with phosphoric acid and Eastwood - then that should stop rust spreading. Also with the cosmoline.

I am waiting on the Cosmoline wax - RP-342 and the gallon of phosphoric acid.
I got the Eastman Internal Frame Spray and a separate better sprayer nozzle - to ensure covering the whole insides of the chassis frame.

So I guess I didn't post any more details on my blog! amazing.
