Lenovo Ideapad S145 headphone Hack. Hackphone Jack Port busted = Logitech USB Headphones instead

Lenovo says you can only use their headphone jack for headphones. Our headphones were going bad and turns out their headphone jack is also the external microphone jack or something. Anyway I could no longer push in the headphone jack and it did not work for headphones.

People say since the Lenovo headphone jack is soldered to the motherboard - either the whole motherboard has to be replaced or you need to find someone who can solder it back together.

So instead I got a USB "Logitech" headphone.

And at first they did not work even though the "driver" said it worked. So then you do the Audio Trouble Shooter and it says that the USB Logitech headphone was not the first choice. So once you choose it as Primary audio device THEN it works!!

Too bad the Microsoft Bill Gates Billionaire Windows update broke our printer for just WORD documents!! So I'm still trying to fix that... or hopefully a new update will fix it.

The Hempel Effect

Visually, the frequency and amplitude changes but the EAR hears no difference - both phases are the Perfect Fifth just inverted as undivided yin-yang (the Taiji). I was discussing noncommutative phase with Nobel physicist Brian Josephson - and he said that I didn't understand how octaves were a geometric logarithm - so that C to G is 3/2 yet G to C is 3/4 as the harmonic series. So I tried to point out to him that since the 2 and 4 are the SAME C as "pitch" - then in the same octave, when doubled back, you can not HAVE the same G as Both the Perfect Fifth and Perfect Fourth. Why? Because 3/4 is the reverse direction in time - so that now the "3" is the denominator as a new root tonic. And so the harmonic series assumes this is a logarithmic equation as a ratio that can be inverted - but you can not evenly divide the octave and the Perfect Fifth since 2 does not go into 3 evenly. So this means that 3/4 is actually C to F while C to G is 3/2 and the C to F was derived from doubling 2/3. So this is called the "phantom tonic" in music theory and reveals the noncommutative phase origin of the music harmonics - as Alain Connes recognizes. Let us draw up a fundamental vibration with its first and second harmonic overtones [1:2 and 2:3]….if we then shift the phase relationship, we get a totally different course of the combined curve; that is, of the pressure course [amplitude and frequency] which is apparently effective in the final analysis.
