So I sent out an email request last night - to get the bricks by 8 pm - since I had a bit of red wine and I was having dinner. I didn't get a response and forgot about it till this am. So I open my "ecoechocultivation" email and sure enough - a message from an hour ago!! I had slept in apparently!
So the person said they would not be there - and thanks for a Drumpfian for supporting a dirty hippy like me. haha. At least that was the truck bumper sticker on the road - anyway so on the way driving there - I was thinking I wish I had my black twist tie thing I use around my overall bibs. My Bibs are "big" and so I cross over the straps to keep the shoulder straps from falling down. My shoulders are of that strange "V" shape. So obviously I forgot about this little "wish" message I sent out to the Cosmic Mother void.
As I was driving back I HAD to get gas and so as I pull in to the pump - and I'm pumping $20 prepaid gas - THERE at my feet - the ONLY thing on the ground - is a black twist tie!! Immediately I tried putting it in my bib metal attachments - while I pumped gas. Amazingly it worked!!
Kang Bed-stove design plan:
I thought - that is a really strange synchronicity - and most would dismiss it as nothing. But seriously - there were OTHER pumps "open" but I happened to choose that specific pump - by "accident"? Some kind of strange spacetime vortex just happened!! Yogananda in his amazing book - on being a yogi - stated how he could get what he wanted when he sent out wish desires. Why? Because if a person is resonating with the Emptiness - then the spacetime vortex will manifest these things because the person is PART of the Emptiness now. So the request is not so much of that person's individual ego as much as it is a part of the spacetime vortex itself!
I now that is a strange thing to fathom. This is just another type of "Glitch in the Matrix" experience.
Anyway now I ponder - can I use structural bricks to build a Kang bed-stove? I got 50 bricks - so I saved $40 about. So the idea is that the bricks are to be filled with mortar. So it should work - even though obviously you don't want smoke leaking through the bricks. Obviously for the "legs" of the Kang Bed-stove - to be elevated - then bricks even with holes - should be fine.
So then as I posted a few blogposts https://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2019/04/kang-bed-stove-heater-and-tlud-stoves.html on https://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2018/12/the-elevated-kang-bed-stove-heater.html how to https://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2019/05/unboxing-great-concrete-rubble-cob-wall.html make a Kang bed-stove - https://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2019/03/solving-kang-bed-stove-heater-design.html so then you cover the bricks to make a "brick plate" - that is then flipped over (after the mortar dries on say six bricks). So that is used on top of the posts - and then you make MORE posts - as the smoke - heat filled middle - and then cover those with more brick plates.
In an elevated kang, an reinforced concrete slab in one piece (soleplate) [one brick layer plus mortar]So I'm pretty excited to try this out - now I just need to buy bags of hydrated lime to make my own cheap mortar that is more ecological. The fire is much lower than portland cement and the lime "breathes" and also captures CO2 as it dries. Vid on how to make Kang bed-stove
is built on several columns to a height of about 20 cm,[7.5 inches]on which short pillars stand at regular internals, rising toa total of up to 60 cm [24 inches] in height; a flat surface (faceplate),[one brick layer plus mortar]as a bed plate, is then made by laying brick plates on thetop of the pillars. In order to regulate the thermal performance of anelevated kang, a fume stopper is built at the end of the
