Is non-dual consciousness really neither male nor female? Christopher Key Chapple on Patanjali and the Unseen Seer as the Golden Mother and the Forest of Nectar

Poonjaji's memoir, "Nothing Ever Happened" - is a book I reread or am rereading. I have not reread Volume 3 yet. But there was something that I chose not to record in my review and thus not comment on. Poonjaji states that the God/Goddess in the numerous forms in India is essentially - I am paraphrasing on my own - two sides of the same coin but the sine-wave between them - that connects their two faces - is the Neutral Awareness that is eternal.

We find a similar attempt to explain this paradox:

Yoga and the Luminous: Patañjali's Spiritual Path to Freedom

By Christopher Key Chapple
I had read Christopher Isherwood's translation and commentary on Patanjali - back around 1999 - and thoroughly enjoyed it. Also around the same time I read David Loy's book on nonduality, a scholarly analysis.

I will transcribe the quote - from google book review
In Samkhya, the realm of prakrti, associated with the feminine, constantly changes, while the witness consciousness or purusa, merely gazes, remaining inactive. Vedanta attempts to conflate the two into a united state, claiming the former to, in some way, be deceptive or unreal. Yoga proclaims that both really exist in all their complexity and that only through experiencing the pain associated with change can we feel freedom. Consequently Patanjali celebrates the feminine gender, both grammatically and practically, acknowledging that through the power of awareness one comes to see and gain mastery over this complex relationship and engage the manifest world, deemed as feminine, through a process of purification.
So in Pythagorean philosophy this paradox is summed up by stating that One is Not a number yet Two as matter is the necessary resonance or reflection of Apeiron - the Cosmic Mother as Emptiness.

So I have blogged on this paradox before - a Daoist scholar addressed it - Livia Kohn. I will look up that blog post.

Anyway this "neutral unity" then is also called the "Shen of No Shen" - meaning that the One as the Light is turned around as an eternal process. So in meditation we need to close the eyes to collect the light - as a resonance with the Emptiness - as a super-radiating laser that is super-coherent - superluminal (faster than the speed of light).

So the One as I have quoted a Pythagorean academic philosopher - on Parmenides - the One is the light as spirit and so it is not a number since light does not experience time nor space. Yet as Aristotle emphasized - without time there is no light. The Time, as Pythagoreans taught - breathes out light and sucks the light back in - there by healing matter by reversing time of light.

Wang Li Ping also describes this in his training book.

Yeah I did not find that Livia Kohn post yet but the point being is that the numbers are reversed based on whether the perspective is external or internal. With our eyes open then the Yin shen goes out the eyes. With the eyes closed then the Light as Yang Shen guides the Qi to then rebuild the Qi from turning the light around as the One.

So the "one" is this process that is resonating the light against itself with noncommutative spacetime as the secret "hidden momentum" of light or supermomentum of light or relativistic mass of light. In qigong it's called the "golden key" as "superluminal yin matter" (Zhang Hongbao) or the "virtual information field" (Yan Xin).

Ramana Maharshi calls this the "three in one unity" - so that the Pythagorean Tetrakys is really nondualism as Not-Two. Or the "one" is the process of the future and past overlapping simultaneous via the light being turned around into the 3 and 2 as complementary opposite reversals of infinity.

This is also the secret meaning of chapter 42 of the Tao Te Ching.

So as Chunyi taught for Level 3 of http://springforestqigong.com - keep it simple as the most powerful practice - use your consciousness to go into the Emptiness. At first - from my study of Vedanta nondualism - this confused me! I thought consciousness WAS the Emptiness as awareness? Only later - from further study - did I realize by consciousness or even "mind" then Chunyi means shen as light. The light is then turned around as the "neutral" sine wave (also called the Yellow Sprouts in Daoist Neidan) - so it is yellow light as the Earth neutral balancing energy. This then creates the black in red (water in fire) and red in black (fire in water) process of alchemy - via the small universe or microcosmic orbit meditation.

And then as Wang Li Ping emphasizes - the liver balances between the upper and lower parts of the body - and so the Yin Qi is the origin since it is without substance. The substance is Yin as matter or the number 2 but the Apeiron as Absolute Void is the yin qi as superluminal yin matter - and so the Green Light is the "trees" (as Wang Li Ping emphasizes). It is the Spring Forest as Green Trees that then are the energy of the Universe creating life from the Sun (heart) and Ocean (kidney energy).

So the Yuan Qi is the "undivided yin-yang" energy or what is also called "bipolar" or "complementary" eternal motion energy as Apeiron - Emptiness that radiates light as the Absolute Void. This means we can see the light externally outside of our bodies and so external reality then becomes manifested as a holographic project of the internal One being reflected back to its infinite source. As Dr. Vandana Shiva emphasizes: growth happens from within. This is the true power of meditation as from the Emptiness but also as a harmonization or natural resonance revolution.

https://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2019/08/reviewing-neidan-alchemy-analysis.html

OK so this blog post goes into it a bit for sure.

Someone commented to me on Youtube - as the Unseen Seer. This is another name for Purusha of Samkhya but instead of just a dualism with Prakrti - there is a secret "three in one" or gunas of no guna dynamic - also called the Infinite Silence.

So Ramana Maharshi emphasized that the Sattvic Mind must be "admitted to for the sake of argument" because one uses the LIGHT as alchemical fire to be turned around - as a laser that is super-radiating energy from the Emptiness. But this light is NOT the Self as Ramana Maharshi emphasizes - as he calls it the "three in one unity." So you are using the mind to destroy itself - but that which radiates back is reverse time from the future - thereby creating new matter that is self-healing or self-organizing.

So then in meditation, as Wang Li Ping emphasizes - and as I also discovered in my research - the Yang Shen must guide the qi - as internal meditation. The left eye is the yin qi but also the yang shen. So the yin qi is without substance but as part of the Yuan Qi, the yin qi is then the superluminal golden key from the Emptiness. Matter is light and yet light also has mass from the future - at the same time as the past.

So then our mind as Shen must be turned around - and this is as with a refraction - the light is actually a SubHarmonic of the Nondual energy from spacetime itself - a quantum phonon that is superluminal energy or "causative force" as Basil J. Hiley calls it - a new force recently discovered in science - the SPIN force that is nonlocal and beyond spacetime - and so nondual.

https://www.academia.edu/3589804/The_Nature_and_Means_of_Liberation_in_Samkhya_Yoga_and_Advaita_Vedanta

So the issue here is that by attempting to present the Emptiness is just being "neutral" and NOT feminine - then we lose the secret process of alchemical reversal that is necessary by the Male as Yang Shen body being created through the eyes being closed via internal meditation.

We now know from science that the Vedanta philosophy of Advaita is from the Brahmins who "invaded" India via the chariots of around 1800 BCE whereas the Samkhya philosophy of the three gunas is from the older matrifocal culture. The Chariot culture then by trying to claim a "neutral" non-gendered Advaita awareness is then in the process of EXTERNALIZING the logic of infinity - through an attempt to geometrically "contain" infinity via the sacred ritual mathematics of mass ritual sacrifice.

So I wrote about this in my 2012 book, "Alchemy of Rainbow Heart Music." Now as Bill Bodri emphasized in his "Measuring Meditation" tome - the advaita philosophy via Poonjaji and Ramana Maharshi is then incomplete - in contrast to the supreme complete enlightenment of Mahayana Buddhism (and the similar body-mind transformation in Daoism). In fact as I have researched - there is an older alchemical connection between China and India via this older matrifocal yoga practice of the Small Universe meditation, also found in Kriya Yoga.

So when we talk of the number 2 then we mean the psychic lunar energy while the number 1 is the Sun but the source of the Sun is the Cosmic Mother as Kala or time itself with Kali as the Cosmic Goddess that both creates and destroys space via infinite time that can not be seen.

So in the Small Universe meditation then the Light as Yang Shen is what guides the Qi via an overlapping of the Past as external matter (our body) and the future as precognitive visions and telekinesis, creating new matter. There has to be a reversal of male and female, upper and lower; left and right; inner and outer - but also a reversal of SEEING and LISTENING (the two dominant senses for humans).

So the book Taoist Yoga: alchemy and immortality describes a process of the blue light being absorbed via the golden yang shen being turned around back into the body - and therefore the red light (lower frequency) yin qi blockages of the body are transformed into more golden light Yang Shen new matter. Wang Li Ping explains that one of his teachers at 140 years old - was creating his Yang Shen but for further long distance travel the teacher then decided to destroy his own body so that he could increase the Yang Shen power. And so what is it that powers the Yang Shen? The Yuan Qi as the Golden Mother

So the Yuan Qi is constantly creating new matter from the future by absorbing blue light and thereby transforming the red light and yellow light of the Golden Light - via the Green light (the yin qi liver wisdom energy).

So with the eyes open then the liver is red light as the Red male Dragon but with the eyes closed via meditation then it gets transformed into Green light as the Female Dragon of Neidan alchemy.

https://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2018/09/eva-wongs-tao-of-health-longevity-and.html

This goes into it more also - maybe it was Eva Wong, not Livia Kohn.

https://elixirfield.blogspot.com/2018/07/nourishing-essence-of-life-eva-wong.html

So the "Forest of Nectar" is a term I had not noticed as much before - this is the Green Dragon from the golden elixir pill being swallowed - the golden ambrosia.
Within the Green Dragon is the one primordial vapor [yuan qi].
So in Samkhya it is emphasized that Purusha has no "agency" - why is this? The Light is turned around - thereby canceling out the spacetime of past and future via the different wavelengths of internal and external reality. So as de Broglie's Law of Phase Harmony discovered - a particle has an internal frequency that is superluminal with a reverse time from the future whereas the external particle that is observed has a "group wave" that is slower than the speed of light and so the time is in the past. So due to Relativity - as the particle goes towards the speed of light then there is a SPIN inversion with the blue light being "absorbed" from the future into the past - into a slower external particle light reflection - creating gold light. It is the Green light that is the mediator of the process and therefore the green light CONTAINS the blue and red light - and the gold light, etc.

All the light is a subharmonic of the superluminal OM or super momentum - a hidden momentum - the Eternal Silence.

So then the liberation of the Soul from Reincarnation inherently also means the creation of the Yang Shen immortal golden body - why? Because as Poonjaji revealed - he loves the aura of Nirvikalpa Samadhi - the Emptiness manifests the rainbow light freely.

As Master Nan, Huai-chin joked to his friend manifesting the rainbow body - he put his HAND into his friend's rainbow body - and said: why are you playing games? Meaning that his friend's true self was the Emptiness itself - not the light being manifested.

Or as my close meditation activist friend said after he did a double dose of sacred DMT-based plant root medicine with MAOI sacred seed combined - "I'm trying to see where the light comes from!" And I said to him - "that's the point, you Can NOT see where the light comes from!"

So Poonjaji emphasized that Shakti IS the same as OM - or what Daoists call Primordial or Original or Deep Qi. This is explained in science by the Zeno Effect in quantum physics. So there is a "strobe" light resonance at the FREQUENCY of the shen blockage. So that "Yi" is the intention as the Earth spleen-stomach or lower tan tien Yellow Sprouts - the Intention to remain Neutral by circulating the red light into the blue to bring it back to the green light of wisdom, internally and externally manifesting the golden light of the Yang shen.

So we have shen spirit as frequency and yet via the Law of Phase Harmony we have the frequency of no frequency - or eternal listening - the Soundless Sound - the unbounded string or one hand clapping. Or as I like to say, NO ONE is listening.

The Law of Phase Harmony is summarized then as Frequency is to Time as Momentum is to Wavelength - and so as the particle goes towards the speed of light then external time slows down (longevity) while the internal wavelength gets smaller and internal frequency is then superluminal momentum or Hidden Momentum of light - supermomentum - and external frequency as the group wave of the particle goes down. So the External Frequency is to External Time as the Internal Momentum is to Internal Wavelength.

By cross multiplying then External Frequency = Internal Wavelength and External Time = Internal Momentum as inverse proportions. Since my previous question stated that Time is Emptiness while Frequency is Shen and Wavelength is Jing while Momentum is Qi - therefore External Shen (golden light) is to external Emptiness as Internal Yuan Qi is to Internal Jing (golden pill as Neidan). Therefore External Shen as golden light MUST go into Internal Jing as golden pill for External Time as Emptiness to be equated to Yuan Qi as internal supermomentum.

So rereading that post - the difference between Fog and Rain is fascinating - the Fog is the qi rising from earth and the rain is the qi coming down from heaven. And so just as with the Original Human Culture - you visualize Fire at the base of the spine and this creates a Fog - a rising boiling Steam. Whereas condensation is rain as the cooling of the Sun.... but the two require FORESTS to balance each other - transpiration of the water into the air - and cooling of the earth by absorbing the water back into the ground...

In addition, he
describes four different sects of Yogis current at his time and
states emphatically that any Yogis who become involved with
goddess worship or Tantra run the risk of making no spiritual
advancement.
Correct - so unless the SHEN and QI is stored up and does not "leak" then there is no spiritual advancement. But there can still be healing energy that is psychic via the Lunar connection to the Yuan Qi as the Goddess.

Yogavdsistha proposes that all mystics share a transcendental
state of consciousness without an object:

a state of bliss that is not its description, which is both the
“is” and the “is not,” both something and non-something,
light and darkness. It is full of non-consciousness and con¬
sciousness. It can only be indicated by negation. . . .
That state is the void, Brahman, consciousness, the Purusa
of the Samkhya, Isvara of the Yogi, Siva, time, Atman or
self, nonself and the middle, and so forth. It is that state
which is established as the truth by all these scriptural
viewpoints, that which is all. In that, the sage remains
firmly established. 1

The Yogavdsistha describes the absolute as “the Purusa of
the Samkhya philosophers, the Brahman of the Vedantins, the
Vijnanamatra of the Yogacara Buddhists, and the Sunya of
the Sunyavadins,” 2 making a home within its fold for the dual-
istic and monistic Hindus and the idealistic and nihilistic Bud¬
dhists. The text affirms the Upanisadic notion that, “I am the Self
of all,” yet it also makes Buddhistic statements such as, “It is
neither sentient nor insentient, neither being nor non-being, nei¬
ther ego nor non-ego, neither one nor many.” 3 The Yogavdsistha
is committed to the notion that a single truth undergirds reality,
as posited in the Upanisads, but it is also sensitive to the unwill¬
ingness of the Buddhist tradition to categorize or name this real¬
ity. Consequently, it celebrates Buddhism by echoing its unique
style of evasive language. Yet the Yogavdsistha contradicts Bud¬
dhism by insisting upon the primacy of an unchanging self. In its
unique form of syncretism, the Yogavdsistha ignores fundamental
doctrinal differences by using the reversible blankets of monism
and nonessentialism.
