 "What you're actually doing with the symplectic algebra is that you're conserving areas and that's the most important thing, you see, you are conserving area. And it's in the conservation of area that you get things like the Gromov no squeezing theorem for example - in classical physics as well as in quantum physics. But in quantum physics you can not squeeze the area BELOW H-bar squared."
