Will the Silicone Bathmat I ordered actually be silicone (contrary to most of all the other silicone bathmats)? Or is it ABS or Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene

UPDATE: I got that mat and yes it is actually Silicone - no toxic smell whatsoever!! the mat is a bit too small but it might work....

I used Alibaba to research the "silicone" bathmat advertising claims on Amazon - and I could only find ONE bathroom mat that specified the material was silicone while the advertising was also silicone.

All the other bathmats advertised as Silicone when matched on Alibaba are actually described in their materials as PVC or TPE - neither of them being actually silicone.

The mat I ordered I could NOT find matched on Alibaba but it looks to be the same material as the one linked above - that claims to actually be made of silicone!!

So I found three different prices of the same mat - I took the lowest price.

We'll see if it's actually silicone or not...

While everyone knows the unpleasant odor from ABS cannot possibly be healthy to breathe in, most of us generally do not really care.

Doesn't sound good!

ABS is a food-grade plastic safe for use in food processing tools like food processors and refrigerator linings.

ABS, however, is stronger and more durable than PVC.

ABS plastic will produce a yellow flame while other plastics may produce a green, blue, or orange flame. Look for blue edges around the yellow flame, indicating it’s ABS plastic.^[6]

OK so the one I ordered does NOT say ABS anywhere...

So that is promising.

The Hempel Effect

Visually, the frequency and amplitude changes but the EAR hears no difference - both phases are the Perfect Fifth just inverted as undivided yin-yang (the Taiji). I was discussing noncommutative phase with Nobel physicist Brian Josephson - and he said that I didn't understand how octaves were a geometric logarithm - so that C to G is 3/2 yet G to C is 3/4 as the harmonic series. So I tried to point out to him that since the 2 and 4 are the SAME C as "pitch" - then in the same octave, when doubled back, you can not HAVE the same G as Both the Perfect Fifth and Perfect Fourth. Why? Because 3/4 is the reverse direction in time - so that now the "3" is the denominator as a new root tonic. And so the harmonic series assumes this is a logarithmic equation as a ratio that can be inverted - but you can not evenly divide the octave and the Perfect Fifth since 2 does not go into 3 evenly. So this means that 3/4 is actually C to F while C to G is 3/2 and the C to F was derived from doubling 2/3. So this is called the "phantom tonic" in music theory and reveals the noncommutative phase origin of the music harmonics - as Alain Connes recognizes. Let us draw up a fundamental vibration with its first and second harmonic overtones [1:2 and 2:3]….if we then shift the phase relationship, we get a totally different course of the combined curve; that is, of the pressure course [amplitude and frequency] which is apparently effective in the final analysis. "The term subcontrary may refer to the fact that a tone based on this mean reverses the order of the two fundamental musical intervals in a scale. Will the Silicone Bathmat I ordered actually be silicone (contrary to most of all the other silicone bathmats)? Or is it ABS or Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene
