So positive and negative frequency - just as with de Broglie's Law of Phase Harmony but ALSO from Alain Connes music model as (2, 3, infinity). How so? A 1:1 fundamental frequency has the first multiplicative overtone as 3 or 3/2 of the 1 as C to G while 2/3 is also a Perfect Fifth yet is C to F as the undertone. If the fundamental frequency is 1:1 as a STRING that means the 2/3 frequency requires a 3/2 String - LONGER than the 1:1 string and thus not allowed. But if the 1:1 fundamental frequency is from listening as an Echo - then you get an infinite relativistic quantum negative and positive frequency as noncommutative phase.

The Hempel Effect

Visually, the frequency and amplitude changes but the EAR hears no difference - both phases are the Perfect Fifth just inverted as undivided yin-yang (the Taiji). I was discussing noncommutative phase with Nobel physicist Brian Josephson - and he said that I didn't understand how octaves were a geometric logarithm - so that C to G is 3/2 yet G to C is 3/4 as the harmonic series. So I tried to point out to him that since the 2 and 4 are the SAME C as "pitch" - then in the same octave, when doubled back, you can not HAVE the same G as Both the Perfect Fifth and Perfect Fourth. Why? Because 3/4 is the reverse direction in time - so that now the "3" is the denominator as a new root tonic. And so the harmonic series assumes this is a logarithmic equation as a ratio that can be inverted - but you can not evenly divide the octave and the Perfect Fifth since 2 does not go into 3 evenly. So this means that 3/4 is actually C to F while C to G is 3/2 and the C to F was derived from doubling 2/3. So this is called the "phantom tonic" in music theory and reveals the noncommutative phase origin of the music harmonics - as Alain Connes recognizes. Let us draw up a fundamental vibration with its first and second harmonic overtones [1:2 and 2:3]….if we then shift the phase relationship, we get a totally different course of the combined curve; that is, of the pressure course [amplitude and frequency] which is apparently effective in the final analysis.
