So it's actually way cheaper than the local auto parts store "Fluid Film" - only 2.5 ounces in a can. The Cosmoline is 12 ounces in a can and so about a fourth of the price.
I got black since otherwise it dries "orange" which looks like rust!
So I don't want anyone confused into thinking the RP-342 paraffin wax is rust - and maybe I've been confused also. Not sure.
OH I guess the local did have a 11.5 ounce spray can of Fluid Film for $10 in contrast to the $14 a can for Cosmoline - but again this is black and also I liked the product when I used it last year.
And so I got the 360 degree spray wand for the internal frame coating - and this wand is now "discontinued" in production. So I have to make sure to clean it with acetone so I can reuse it next year.
Eastwood sends a wand with their internal frame coating - but the wand is not 360 degrees and so doesn't work as well.
Now I need to go set up the "inspection camera" to see if there is less rust internally - if I converted it yesterday!
I did just put more GEL on some rust on the body frame (not the chassis) - so I need to see if that has converted. I guess it should be kept on longer though.
