The colonizlation of the Black Soul: Eldridge Cleaver: Soul on Ice

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6pYmrTknT8

I joked to qigong master Jim Nance that he could name his biography, "Soul on Black Ice." He then shared how at his college they had Eldridge Cleaver speak.

I almost slipped on Black Ice yesterday - but as a good Minnesotan - I was pre-emptively Shuffling along as I held some food. I yelled out as I began to go horizontal in mid-air but I caught myself at the same time.

I was then thinking about his book - if it will ever be published.

Dr. Helen Caldicott was going to write another book on how male physiology is the cause of today's ecological crisis - as a follow up to her first classic book: Missile Envy.

But she realized that writing a book would not make a difference - as the problem is hard-wired as a deep mass mind control.

True spiritual training in the end has to remain a secret world in silence.

So then Jim shared with me how much trouble I had inadvertently caused at the SFQ Center. Jim shared how he talked about it with Chunyi - explaining that my views were so far left that they were right wing. Something like that. haha. That was not the exact words - but Jim said how Chunyi had to leave the center and go drive around while things cooled down at the center.

OH I remember now - the claim was that our cartoon image of Jim was racist because we had an Asian looking African sage or something. hmm.

After spending seven years in exile in Cuba, Algeria, and France, Cleaver returned to the US in 1975, where he became involved in various religious groups (Unification Church and CARP) before finally joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as becoming a conservative Republican, appearing at Republican events.[6]

''You're either part of the problem or part of the solution,'' he challenged, in one of the slogans that became a byword of the era.

Mr. Cleaver metamorphosed into variously a born-again Christian, a follower of the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, a Mormon, a crack cocaine addict, a designer of men's trousers featuring a codpiece and even, finally, a Republican.

'Soul on Ice,' Memoir as Manifesto

When ''Soul on Ice,'' was published in 1968, it had a tremendous impact on an intellectual community radicalized by the civil rights movement, urban riots, the war in Vietnam and campus rebellions.

He began reading widely and received his high school diploma at Soledad, forming, he wrote in ''Soul on Ice,'' ''a concept of what it meant to be black in white America.'' But a year later Mr. Cleaver was arrested for his rapes, convicted of assault with intent to murder and sent first to San Quentin prison and then Folsom for a term of 2 to 14 years.

I had seen his book in the bookstore - and I had speed read it in the store - but I didn't consider it worth reading at the time. I read the Autobiography of Malcolm X during my first year of college - that was a transformative experience for me and I've recommended that book to others.

Cleaver needed to be initiated - that's why he joined the Moonies, etc.

May 2, 1998 — Upon his release, he returned to the drug trade and committed a new crime--rape.

So he admitted to being a Serial Rapist in his book and when he got out of prison he returned to being a rapist.

That's why talk is cheap - his book is eloquent but still doesn't heal his evil.

Following this poem is Cleaver’s admittance of rape, however, rape as a political act. It is important to consider how Cleaver benefits from presenting his heinous crimes in this way. In “Race, Sexuality, and Political Struggle: Reading Soul on Ice”, Jared Sexton suggests, “This is a troubling line of reasoning… it pursues an absolutely untenable alibi for rape…”11 Cleaver seems to use his discussions of rape to further his ideological standpoint rather than to repent for his actions.

Cleaver writes, “Rape was an insurrectionary act… [it] was the most satisfying to me because I was very resentful over the historical fact of how the white man has used the black woman. I felt I was getting revenge12” In this way, Cleaver began to see raping white women as a way to violently attack white supremacy and power. He asserts a difference between sex and rape in order to make his desire a meaningful act of resistance, rather than a betrayal of his community. It is no longer that he desires white over black, it is that he is using rape to gain liberation.

This is a big excuse.

Rape has and continues to be a mass tool - it's what I call Chimpanzee Culture. Rape and war from Ejaculation Addiction as evil.
