Kind of hard to believe there's over 1000 questions on this item on Amazon plus over 3000 reviews!!
Holy Moly! But of course one of the questions was - could you use this for camping! Someone said - NO the metal foot posts would "sink" into the Earth. Yes maybe. Mine is missing one plastic footing cover.
I honestly was NOT sure how to fix my "Cot" not working for full lotus padmasana! As I said before - I could "fold" over the sleeping mats and comforter - but it was still kind of awkward. THIS will even conduct the heat from the stove!! Amazing!! So I'll get a heated bed like the Kang bed-stove!!
Awesome!
So this is a "similar" model - the angle support beams go "in" on my model.
Here is the particular model! $68 at a big box store - so $75 with tax and shipping/gas $!! Or $60 on Amazon.
I added about 35 dollar investment into making this frame work with by boxed bed. I cut some MDF "plywood" boards to fit each twin and I zipped tied them on there thru some predrilled holes. I cut the boards about 2 inchs narrower than the frame (both length and width) so I don't catch my knee or shin on the corners sticking out the ends. Adding the MDF vastly improved the sleeping quality of the mattress on this frame. While the "slats" (they are really wires, not huge gauge) are 4in apart, there is really little to no support on the wires causing the mattress to sag.Sounds like a good idea!!
I use this for camping throughout the year and it's amazing. I throw on a couple woven floor matseven easier!
