Naomi Klein's new book is reviewed by Robert Jensen

Thanks for the note. I know that Klein is aware of all the cascading effects, but for the time being she is still trying to rally people to legislation. I understand, but wanted to suggest there are other ways to go forward, as you suggest.
thanks Professor Jensen: Does Naomi mention "Global Dimming Effect" and the East Siberian Arctic Methane Bomb? Those two "pincers" have been dubbed the GEE McFearSun Mustache Paradox. Sorry for being glib - after 25 years of "sustainability" activism (with a master's degree and being arrested 9 times, etc.) - instead I realized we were doomed in 1996 and I did intensive training in non-western philosophy to finish my master's degree (through http://springforestqigong.com) So I know for a FACT that ghosts are real (for example). The original human culture, the San Bushmen, are STILL around and we are all from that culture (from before 70,000 BCE). Yet they did not even know that "homosexuality" existed!! (so how could they be homophobic?) Also the males did not practice masturbation - rather the whole culture was centered on the males training in trance dance fasting spiritual energy healing (N/om). So for example if a bird was killed then it was not eaten till the next day, lest the spirit of the bird tell the other birds that humans are killing the birds. We high-tech sophisticates write this off as silly nonsense unless you study relativistic quantum biology (say Professor Jack Tuszinski or the recently deceased Professor Michael Persinger).

Thanks for your review,
