Fiery Lead as secret of Yuan Qi: More on True Lead and True Mercury as the Double Reversal

So this "double inversion" was also revealed by a book I quoted before -

The triagram Li is fire and predominantly yang, but the important middle line is yin, and so the Dragon is female. It is the yin essence in the yang, water in fire, the female in the male, the moon in the sun. True mercury can be detained also by making use of true lead.

Now we move into this other work - that I have not seen discussed elsewhere.

So Red Dragon is the liver qi that goes out the eyes. Green Dragon is the first reversal - the liver qi, through meditation, as Mercury, goes down - it is within the Vermillion or Red Sand (blood). But the Po Soul, has to "grab onto" this Hun soul - that normally disperses with the yang fire - the shen going out the eyes.

And so True Mercury is primarily "yin qi" and so - this is the "innate Nature" of chapter 1 of the Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality book. In other words - unless the heart is pure - then True Earth has to "fix" the True Lead (sublimate it) using Quick Fire - otherwise True Mercury can not "fix" True Lead. But once True Earth "fixes" True Lead - then it is bound to True Mercury - as the undivided yin-yang elixir or Nei Dan.

So True Mercury is the Green Dragon but on its own - without True Earth - (Quick Fire breathing) - then the Mercury easily disperses and separates from the True Lead. But with True Earth - then the Green Dragon as "water in the fire" then as a Double REversal, now is water that rises up the spine (with True Lead or fire in it).

So True Lead detains True Mercury, thereby creating the elixir of undivided yin-yang (yuan qi), using True Earth as the fixer or mediator (Yi, intention). So then with the double reversal, again the water now "rises" (since it detains the yin qi as the water in the fire of the shen).

Dragon signifies True Mercury.
Tiger signifies True Lead.

But notice the author/translator is also confused:

Now - I came across this SAME confusion in the Ph.D. thesis I have referenced. Why? Because the "black tiger" as mercury, yin - is before sublimation. The blood coagulates in the lower body (female internal). The dragon as yang is the male dragon is the shen as the upper body (external). Alchemically everything is reversed. The male "appears" to be yang externally but is yin internally and the female appears to be yin externally but is yang internally.

So here we have, once again, confirmation of the double reversal. Changing from black to red. So the Black Tiger changes to Red Dragon once again in the double reversal.

O.K. so now....

And so the silver (mercury) is in the red (fire) but the Green Dragon turns the mercury down to the Black (lead water) which using Yellow (soil) then changes to white (with the silver) and then returns back to the Red.... and then with the mercury "detained" and turned into "substance" - then slowly the impure black (lead) is removed - so that the yellow turns to Gold.

So you end up with soil as Gold - yuan qi. Actually Chin Tan means Gold-Redness. (so Lead turned to Gold via the secret mercury in the vermillion sand red).

The ancestor of True Mercury is Red Dragon.
Fiery Lead (True Yang Lead) is the Sun.
True Yin Mercury is the moon. (the moon moves quickly).

So first the mercury has to be brought down to turn into substance - and then the lead has to go up to turn back into fire. The lead then goes back down as White Tiger (sweet dew) that joins back to the Red Dragon now as Fiery Lead (Yuan Qi from yang qi).

True Mercury is also called semen....
So again with double reversal - the opposites interact.
Hence the confusion.

Mantak Chia states the Green Dragon as True Mercury changes into the black tiger as True Lead

But I don't think this quite CAPTURES the secret of the Double reversal - because the black tiger has to change into the white tiger to change into the True Lead - via the brain (heaven)....

So now I'm word searching Needham's 600 page book (pdf) that goes into "physiological alchemy."

oK so we can summarize the situation as thus:

Mercury normally is light and flies away but True Mercury also goes up - but goes up the back (not the front).

Lead normally is heavy and is lost going down. But True Lead also goes down - but down the front (not down from the back, governing channel - kidney).

Whether one believes in a model like this that straddles physics and spirituality is up to the individual....However it is remarkable that such a model can even be formulated, bridging as it does realms of experience which traditionally have been viewed as immutably separate.

Also, a simple connection between Q_M and relativity theory for the De Broglie particle/pilot wave concept shows that v_p v_w = c² is required, where the subscripts p and w refer to particle and wave, respectively. Thus, since v_p < c, always, via relativity theory, v_w> c always for the information wave components making up the De Broglie pilot wave.

Visually, the frequency and amplitude changes but the EAR hears no difference - both phases are the Perfect Fifth just inverted as undivided yin-yang (the Taiji). I was discussing noncommutative phase with Nobel physicist Brian Josephson - and he said that I didn't understand how octaves were a geometric logarithm - so that C to G is 3/2 yet G to C is 3/4 as the harmonic series. So I tried to point out to him that since the 2 and 4 are the SAME C as "pitch" - then in the same octave, when doubled back, you can not HAVE the same G as Both the Perfect Fifth and Perfect Fourth. Why? Because 3/4 is the reverse direction in time - so that now the "3" is the denominator as a new root tonic. And so the harmonic series assumes this is a logarithmic equation as a ratio that can be inverted - but you can not evenly divide the octave and the Perfect Fifth since 2 does not go into 3 evenly. So this means that 3/4 is actually C to F while C to G is 3/2 and the C to F was derived from doubling 2/3. So this is called the "phantom tonic" in music theory and reveals the noncommutative phase origin of the music harmonics - as Alain Connes recognizes. Let us draw up a fundamental vibration with its first and second harmonic overtones [1:2 and 2:3]….if we then shift the phase relationship, we get a totally different course of the combined curve; that is, of the pressure course [amplitude and frequency] which is apparently effective in the final analysis. When looking at both curves, one might suppose that in the two cases we should hear two sounds that are just as different. But in fact our ear does not notice any difference. biophysicist Vitus B.
