Minnesota says claim that half of Medicaid funded ($9 billion) special programs are fraud is baseless

Minnesota received roughly $21 billion in total federal Medicaid funds annually. - well I guess they are defunding just the "14 programs" - I listed them on my blog. It's pretty wild how the media relies on soundbytes now so the corrupt corporate-state can get away with these blatant lies that are in the details. Adult Companion Services (caregivers), autism, integrated community support, medical transportation (nonemergency), peer recovery services, (that must be the rehab), recuperative care (again rehab), individualized home support, adult companion service, community treatment, residential treatment, housing stabilization. Yes Minnesota will be funding this for now but for how long?

Below are the 14 services identified as high-risk for billing fraud:

  • Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention services for autism
  • Integrated Community Supports
  • Nonemergency Medical Transportation
  • Peer Recovery Services
  • Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services
  • Adult Day Services
  • Personal Care Assistance/Community First Services and Supports
  • Recuperative Care
  • Individualized Home Supports
  • Adult Companion Services
  • Night Supervision
  • Assertive Community Treatment
  • Intensive Residential Treatment Services
  • Housing Stabilization Services
