On-chip coupling and synchronization of quantum emitters using superradiant coupling channels Roman Shugayev "a new [noncommutative phase] method for the synchronization of distant quantum emitters compatible with an integrated photonics platform. The proposed practical implementation of the system would be compatible with standard practices for the fabrication of integrated devices. This approach can have multiple applications for emerging quantum computing and quantum metrology systems....synchronizing the frequency and phase of single photons using superradiantly coupled distant quantum emitters. Superradiance, an enhancement of the spontaneous emission rate due to near- field coupling of ensembles of spontaneous emitters, was first pro- posed by Dicke in his seminal paper [18]....in addition to increasing the rate of spontaneous emission, the superradiance also synchronizes the frequency, phase, and time of coupled emission events. In particular, it can efficiently syn- chronize the frequencies and phases of distant quantum emitters as long as they are being coupled to the full spontaneous emission ensemble. ....superradiant emitter channels for the synchronization of distant photonic emitters and the generation of complex quantum states of light."
