Fred Alan Wolf aka "Dr. Quantum" understands the "rather strange" noncommutative secret of quantum nonlocality!

Did you watch Fred Alan Wolf's Tedx talk? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9d_HYkS9Pc He basically does the "Dirac Dance" but with his hands and thumbs - so he uses two arms. So you are getting both a mirror reflection and a left-right reflection.

So when we think of the Bloch Sphere - the imaginary number causes that flip but the difference is that it's not a "point" but rather a particle with a wavelength. My Dirac Dance playlist would give more details. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaxpujmz7Q04YNGggSxcjZPx5e8l4gHk6

In terms of native nonwestern shamanism that Fred Alan Wolf studies - yeah I don't think he quite focuses on the noncommutativity as the foundation. He cowrote that book with Jack Sarfatti - the cartoon book that I read back 20 years ago. Jack Sarfatti insisted that Fred Alan Wolf's contribution wasn't correct or something and so only a later edition is correct since Jack corrected it - something like that. I can't remember but as you probably know I debated Jack about him misunderstanding Basil J. Hiley.

What is fascinating is that Jack Sarfatti asks Basil a question when Basil did his first "weak measurement" lecture in 2012 and right after Jack asks his question Basil says, "No one can understand me." Wow!! Of course Basil and David Bohm had already published a paper how Jack did not understand them - as I discovered later. Jack of course then blurts out, "I understand you Basil!" hahaha. Anyway Fred Alan Wolf was the basis for "Dr. Quantum" the youtube vids on the mystery of the double slit experiment also.

I actually emailed Fred Alan Wolf once or twice but never got a response back. I am not sure he quite understood it - seems like he was more on Durr's level but that Tedx talk he gives certainly is spot on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2z5iA3L5R40 Here is his latest I think on youtube. Yeah he says Psi*Psi which is squaring the amplitude. "structured empty space" - that's what Basil J. Hiley calls noncommutative structure! Fred Alan Wolf is not saying noncommutative but his Tedx talk explains that for sure. I'll watch that again. Wow he got published in the same journal I got published in! https://www.fredalanwolf.com/myarticles/cosmos%20and%20history%20vol%2014%20no%201%202018.pdf

"However, these are rather strange non-commuting observables— not the kind you usually find in grand-dad’s quantum mechanics—when you take into account that they not only refer to a state corresponding to an outside object, but also to the self-referring measurement of the state of the recording device containing that information. Hence we have a rather unique situation here." OK now he's getting into it! n the world of the self-referring mind, where knowledge of eigenvalues of non- commuting observables can apparently be accessed (provided that knowledge includes self-knowledge), objects (including the self) appear to have well-defined values just as the objects of a classical world do appear to us. ...

But there is more to this than just the appearance of classical values.....Moreover, attempts to dislodge such information would continually alter, as it were, the system’s “information” boundary—the very distinction a system would make between itself and its objective environment. Hence a distinction between the system, and the objective world it may relate to, arises chiefly from its ability to hold on to this undisclosed information. It holds this information, so to speak, in secret and in its secret holding it becomes aware of itself as distinct from any others that do not have privy to its holding. Its ability to be a separate thing implies the holding of “secret” knowledge. Hence, if I make a further leap here, objectivity (the mindful distinction of separate objects) arises from subjectivity—a holding of secret knowledge."
