1 great whale=30,000 trees in terms of carbon sequestration via whale poop, algae growth

So 2 trillion trees planted would cancel out the  yearly CO2 emissions but we need to reverse the stored up CO2 in the oceans....So we need the below number of whales as population for another 2 trillion trees planted equivalent:

 66,666,666

 Between 1900 and 1999, the whaling industry killed an estimated 2.9 million whales for commercial purposes,

So we could not do that but anyway....

if we restore the 3 million lost whales that would equal 90 billion trees planted on Earth. Pretty wild.

There's only 30,000 whales globally! Wow.

So we need to increase the whale population by 1000 times....
