 David Reich – How One Small Tribe Conquered the World 70,000 Years Ago

 70,000 years ago there are half a dozen different  human species around the world that are pretty different.

 What you actually have in the world 50,000 years  ago is tens, or hundreds, or thousands, or tens  of thousands, of different human groups. They  each possess local knowledge and rarely exchange   with each other.

that was the seed of this modern period? By bottleneck we mean founder event,  

a relatively small number of people giving  rise to a large number of descendants today.   The bottleneck occurred well before the mixture  with Neanderthals, which is probably somewhere like 50,000 years ago, plus or minus 5000 years  or something. We don't know where it occurred.  

Maybe it occurred somewhere in Arabia. Maybe it  occurred somewhere in the Nile Valley.

  An ordinary person’s mind does not leave his body until the time
of death; this is not so for the yogi, whose mind-body connection has been loosened
through initiation, practice, etc . . . The body contains multiple “mind-bearing” chan-
nels (manovāhā nāḍī ) . . . it is not the case that these inner channels are only inside the
body. They also fan out from the body into the entire cosmos (virāṭ viśva). By means
of this network of channels (nāḍījāl) every man is [joined] together with every [other]
man. Why is this so? Because everything is connected to everything else . . . it is necessary
for the yogi to maintain a separation in his field of vision between the body he has
entered (and of which he has become the experiencing subject [bhoktārūp]), and the
channel through which his yoking [of that body] to his own was established . . . This
is because he will need that path [of the channel] to leave that body [and return to his
own body] .

Cultural characteristics are seeded after the ice age...(globally). 

3000 generations ago you get the proportion of your ancestors that are Neanderthal or East African. Or Denisovans...

300,000 years ago peoples ancestors are coming from different places in Africa or Eurasia....
