I'm pretty excited to finally have an academic article get published, giving an overview of my life's research. I researched the editorial board - about a couple dozen academics, almost entirely professors. It's a well-reputed peer-reviewed journal with a focus on environmental philosophy that has a structural institutional and psychological global analysis.
I also maybe having an article published in the new parapsychology issue this month. Although I haven't heard back from the editor but he did reply, "it looks good" and then he asked me to reformat it as per their APA citation style. So that seemed promising but then I joined their parapsychology association, only they had an automatic paypal recurring payment system annually. I can't do that as my own parapsychology research left me too much of a psychophysiological hermit for any regular annual payments. hahaha.
So I deleted/closed my paypal account and then contacted the parapsychology association - after they didn't get back to me then I contacted the credit card company to reverse charge. They contacted the parapsychology association who confirmed I did not cancel my membership. So then I requested canceling the recurring payment and I got contacted finally - my FIRST reply from the parapsychology association to confirm I wanted to only pay for one year as membership and not have the annual recurring automatic payment. hahaha.
So not sure if that is going to put the kabosh on that parapsychology article submission or not but it could be I have two academic articles published this month!!
