In Quantum Mechanics there is something completely new: this is a way for one system to affect the other in a nonlocal way....they don't have to be in the same location to affect each other.
the particle goes through one slit, it knows whether the other slit is open or not, but having another variable in the particle's future. ... but right now that variable can not be measured locally but can be affected by whether the slit is open or not.

it's behavior in the present depends not only on what experiment I've done in the past but also what experiment I've done in the future. I can show it's true - because there are uncertainty relations. Because there are uncertainties then there's a possibility for a different past to make a different choice in the future - there's a new freedom...I have the freedom to select in the future out of only part of the electrons...There are all the electrons that started in the same state in the past and a part of them that started in the same state in the future - I can all these new ensemble, Pre and post-selected. From this I can ask what are the properties in the present. ...
