Northern Minnesota is finally legalizing the homeless!! It's no longer illegal to be homeless!! Finally some basic human rights are recognized.
The city has opened the door for these “authorized outdoor living zones” to be established, $300,000.00
Authorized Outdoor Living Zones are on land owned by an individual, congregation, institution, or business. Let us know of your interest by email and together we'll explore how your land might temporarily serve as a [dwelling] site for an Authorized Outdoor Living Zone.
Other ways you can help:
- Temporary use of land large enough to hold 10 tents spaced 15 feet apart, with room for porta-potties and dumpster, including access for the trucks that deliver and service them.
