The full 28 Hazelnut trees planted and watered in via offgrid pump: 600 pounds a year of carbon absorbed!

So this batch of 14 trees are much farther apart.... compared to the batch inside the big deer fencing... I still need to put deer fencing around each of these 14 trees!

And the water is unloading into the bucket via the 65 gallon tank in the truck (SUV) - and 450 feet of hose!! Wow that 1/6 hp Liberty pump sure is awesome!!!

I had been hauling tons of buckets of five gallons of water - and it's a serious workout!!

This is luxury!! I had some kinks in the final stretch of hose since it was a lot cooler - and then as soon as I finished watering in the trees - it did actually start raining! Not a hard rain but I definitely got soaked. So I dried off in the car with the heat blasting - while driving home....

the average U.S. American produced 23.2 metric tons of carbon dioxide.

These 28 trees will absorb on average 600 pounds of CO2 a year.... so a drop in the bucket. haha. A metric ton is 2200 pounds....Still the preserved forest has some 2000 trees in 4.8 acres!

An acre of trees can sequester about two to five tons of carbon dioxide each year.

Now we're talking....  so about 15 tons of CO2 absorbed....
