Ordered a PSC submersible 2 amp water pump with 25 foot power cord, and 25 foot head draw

This is an employee owned company that designed the pump and it is definitely different than the other low power submersible pumps on the market. Since it's less power at first I was skeptical but I wanted less power since my portable generator can't handle 3 amps draw! hahahaha. So this is only 2 amps....but should have the same power as the 1/4 hp 3 amps!! Why? The PSC is different....

https://www.beckettcorp.com/bulletins/an-introduction-to-psc-motors/

I had never heard of a PSC before....There's a 3 year warranty on this pump also - so pretty sure they'll fix if if it has any problems...

I did find another ceramic jug to haul up water but I've used several already - they also break but also it's pretty slow - very slow actually. So if this works - that would be awesome!!

The Minneapolis-designed Superior brand submersible pumps seem to break too easily and different kind of motor (made in China) - so I kept digging (pun not intended) and found this 6 1/4 inch wide Liberty 1/6 hp air cooled PSC motor pump from an ESOP in New York (made in Taiwan) - I ordered through Home Despot to pick it up. 3 year warranty advertised as 25 foot maximum head. https://www.libertypumps.com/wp/dom/Products/Utility-Specialty-Pumps/model-260-2

It needs less power - only 2 amps or 260 watts so I can run it from my lithium portable generator! The typical oil-cooled 1/6 hp motor only pumps 20 feet head lift maximum, while this PSC motor does 25 feet maximum at 5 gpm ?? (see below for discrepancy). The Minneapolis designed Superior pumps for 25 feet head are 1/4 hp, 3 amps - too much power for my generator.
Also I got the 25 foot power cord version to lower it down into my hand auger water hole. hahahaha. It hooks up to a 3/4 inch garden hose. Also it has a 3 year warranty while the Minneapolis designed pumps are just a 1 year warranty - and then the oil or water cooled pump breaks from overheating....this Liberty pump has a
 thermal overload circuit....
Self-cleaning trash-type impeller
Removable bottom screen for easy cleaning
That Liberty link goes from 9 gpm at 20 feet to 0 gpm at 25 feet while the other Liberty spec pdf says it's 5 gpm at 25 feet and 9 gpm at 20 feet. hahahaha.
OH and the 5 gpm at 25 feet is the 2020 pdf whle the 0 gpm at 25 feet is their 2023 pdf. hahaha. Same pump - so who knows? User manual says: "Model 260 has a maximum lift capability of 30’  but that user manual is 2020. I'll go with the user manual and their advertising. The spec sheet in 2023 must be a misprint...
Protect the power and control cords from the environment.
Unprotected power and control (switch) cords can allow water
to wick through ends into pump or switch housings, causing
surroundings to become energized.
OK I guess they just covered their warranty. haha. So I could put extra protection - guerrilla glue around that power cord connection.
Do not install the pump on clay, dirt, mud or sand surfaces. Clean
the area to be pumped. Grass, mud, sand or pea gravel can clog
the pump and reduce its performance.
OK so I'll get an extra wire mesh filter to put around the pump....
For continuous operation, the pump must be submerged to
prevent the motor from overheating. If this occurs, the pump will
shut itself off until the motor cools to its normal temperature.
Repeated overheating may cause damage to the pump.
