Professor Jean Bricmont confirms Newton's First Law violated by quantum physics foundation of reality: de Broglie-Bohm

Notice also that this is a motion that does not respect Newton's First Law. Because, you see Newton's first law, said the trajectory is a straight line, in vacuum. Here there are no force: the only thing that acts are on the particle is the wave function. But who tells you that quantum mechanics should be like classical mechanics. We've been told all the time that this changes philosophy and changes everything, so it can at least change the equations of motion.

Professor Jean Bricmont,  "a lecture I gave recently in NYU (for philosophers)" from video sent to me via email correspondence with Professor Bricmont. Lecture dated May 9, 2023.
