More Grim Climate Trends and Tipping Points

The climate crisis being the most important issue warrants even a deeper dive. Thanks for that Science article on the 1.5 degree "tipping points" yet I would scrutinize that science as well as being not well-educated. For example search the article for "methane" and you find something sorely lacking: We get this reference: D. Archer, B. Buffett, V. Brovkin, Ocean methane hydrates as a slow tipping point in the global carbon cycle. Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A.106, 20596–20601 (2009).

No - it's NOT a "slow tipping point" - it's a Methane Bomb of pressurized methane - over 500 gigatons that could easily blow very fast!!

So if we go read that reference cited in the article YOU cite - we find that methane hydrate article makes NO REFERENCE of Natalia Shakhova's research! Her research has been corroborated by an international research team as well - just a few years ago.

So there's no excuse for a "Science" article to ignore the East Siberian Arctic Shelf Methane bomb - the ESAS is the largest ocean shelf in the world!!

And some global climate models already put us at over 1.6 C global average - meaning these tipping points are already fully activated!!

No - Nothing! No mention of Dimming either. Visually, the frequency and amplitude changes but the EAR hears no difference - both phases are the Perfect Fifth just inverted as undivided yin-yang (the Taiji). I was discussing noncommutative phase with Nobel physicist Brian Josephson - and he said that I didn't understand how octaves were a geometric logarithm - so that C to G is 3/2 yet G to C is 3/4 as the harmonic series. So I tried to point out to him that since the 2 and 4 are the SAME C as "pitch" - then in the same octave, when doubled back, you can not HAVE the same G as Both the Perfect Fifth and Perfect Fourth. Why? Because 3/4 is the reverse direction in time - so that now the "3" is the denominator as a new root tonic. And so the harmonic series assumes this is a logarithmic equation as a ratio that can be inverted - but you can not evenly divide the octave and the Perfect Fifth since 2 does not go into 3 evenly. So this means that 3/4 is actually C to F while C to G is 3/2 and the C to F was derived from doubling 2/3. So this is called the "phantom tonic" in music theory and reveals the noncommutative phase origin of the music harmonics - as Alain Connes recognizes.
