Action shot!!
Huddled around this:
That's right - my new Chinese Tipi Tent - from Pomoly - is a Silnylon tent - with room enough for two chairs as this is proof!! HUSSAR Plus Tipi Tent
The wood stove got the tent very toasty even with the tent door fully open!!
Tent stove as seen from the chair. You can't really make this out. Guess you had to be there. Well I wasn't sitting in the chair - so I can't really say either. haha. Everyone survived this experience though.
The silicone caulk I put on the fiberglass fireproof blanket (also from Pomoly) did not stand up to the stove pipe temp (was glowing hot red so much have been 800 F.)....
Anyway I just shifted the fiberglass blanket so the silicone wasn't touching it and the smoke-sparks vanished. I had sprayed the fiberglass with the silicone caulk - or pumped it on there - to mitigate the "fraying" of the fiberglass, such that the strands would create particles and dust, etc.
It's only zero degrees Fahrenheit this morning - so I'm not going outside! 32 degrees below Freezing? No thanks! haha.
There you have it - the scene of the "crime" - a Birthday Party photo-op at the Wood Stove!! Paradise in a parking lot? I think not!! Below is the "Platonic Ideal" of this tent set-up:
Someone checked out my research from their location in.... Reunion! Never knew about this place!
