So I will need to reinforce the cheap welding on the frame since people complained it doesn't hold.
This conduit fitting allows you to extend your structure with two pipes at 180 degrees while adding strength with the essential center pipe and 90 degree angled pipe.
Then these T-connectors.
aka Rail clamp
So also I got big canvas 10 ounce painter tarps as 9 x 12.
The cabin tent with stove jack is a 10 x 12 shelter.
So how thick is canvas tent tarp anyway?

So, if true that means the strength of 12.0 oz canvas is higher than the 10.1 oz canvas by an average (warp & fill) of 41% while the increase in weight is only 16%.
100% 10.10 oz double-fill army duck cotton canvas,
So the key is "double-fill" canvas.

OK so it's a single weaved cotton. Fascinating.

This is actually what I need and then maybe some more cross bars to reinforce the frame.
So I think the canvas is double weaved. One side looks like the top.
Ah but there's no second layer!
hmmm....
In a double weave, a fabric should contain two detectable weave structures, two layers, which are connected to one another in some way.
I'll look again.
“Double fill” means Double cloth or double weave (also doublecloth, double-cloth, doubleweave) and is a kind of woven textile in which two or more sets of warps and one or more sets of weft or filling yarns are interconnected to form a two-layered cloth.
Yeah it's just one layer of cloth or one WARP weave.

Number 10 is five ounces heavier if it is double fill canvas. So it's a 15 ounce canvas.
And it is single fill then it's a 10 ounce canvas.
That explains things. Yep it's a single fill.
the double fill (The Numbered Ducks) are stronger because the warp and weft are made of plied (twisted) yarns.
Plied yarns are produced by twisting together two or more singles yarns.
OK NOW I get it....
"Fill threads" are the same as "weft threads" so "double fill" doesn't necessarily say anything about the warp yarns.
So the weft is horizontal.
OH so that's the double weave! that's how they are interconnected two layers.
So my neighbor asked me to shovel for months - any snow - and wanted to pay me. Instead I can get these canvas tarps sewn together. Hopefully.
