I now have a "Garage in a Box" and a "House in a Bag" - the Chinese factory polyester-canvas cabin tent for long term campsite living

The competitor's price must be in effect at the time of the Price Match request. It must be the identical brand, model and brand new/factory sealed.
So how it works is that a Chinese factory on Alibaba will sell their item to a big box store and the Chinese factory will then also sell the "brand name." So then the SAME identical product is made in the SAME Chinese factory but the one I bought is the Fleet Farm brand name while the Walmart one is the Ozark brand name.
Ozark Trail (brand name), a private-label brand name owned by Wal-Mart.
Whereas:
FIELD N' FOREST Trademark of FLEET FARM WHOLESALE SUPPLY CO.
Here's what I'll do - I'll get on Alibaba and TRACK DOWN the Chinese company that makes this tent - just for fun. haha.
FOUND IT. Took me about a half hour?
Notice the wholesale says they will "customize the brand." So both FleetFarm and Walmart had that same company in China make the same tent! https://leshade.en.alibaba.com/product/60742281948-801255867/High_quality_hard_floor_camper_trailer_outdoor_family_event_canvas_safari_lodge_tent.html?spm=a2700.shop_plser.41413.20.7e356563L5MV6D Check it out - the Chinese wholesaler stole the "Colorado Tent" image that they are copying - and put it in their promotional.
So that tent is actually made in Colorado and sells for over $1000...
The tent I got is made of "Polyester-Canvas" blend. I use that same blend as my tarps for the roof on the hermit hut.

So I will need to reinforce the cheap welding on the frame since people complained it doesn't hold.

This conduit fitting allows you to extend your structure with two pipes at 180 degrees while adding strength with the essential center pipe and 90 degree angled pipe.

T Connector

Then these T-connectors.

aka  Rail clamp

So also I got big canvas 10 ounce painter tarps as 9 x 12.

The cabin tent with stove jack is a 10 x 12 shelter.

So how thick is canvas tent tarp anyway?

https://www.backcountrychronicles.com/canvas-wall-tent-fabric/

So, if true that means the strength of 12.0 oz canvas is higher than the 10.1 oz canvas by an average (warp & fill) of 41% while the increase in weight is only 16%.

100% 10.10 oz double-fill army duck cotton canvas,

So the key is "double-fill" canvas.

10 oz. Single Filled Cotton Duck

  • Drop Cloths: For painters or for simple home improvement, create drop cloths that protect floors and spaces from the mess made from construction.

OK so it's a single weaved cotton. Fascinating.

This is actually what I need and then maybe some more cross bars to reinforce the frame.

So I think the canvas is double weaved. One side looks like the top.

Ah but there's no second layer!

https://fenomkimonos.files.wordpress.com/2018/06/single-weave-double-weave-1.jpg?w=260&h=260&crop=1&zoom=2

hmmm....

In a double weave, a fabric should contain two detectable weave structures, two layers, which are connected to one another in some way.

I'll look again.

“Double fill” means Double cloth or double weave (also doublecloth, double-cloth, doubleweave) and is a kind of woven textile in which two or more sets of warps and one or more sets of weft or filling yarns are interconnected to form a two-layered cloth.

Yeah it's just one layer of cloth or one WARP weave.

Number 10 is five ounces heavier if it is double fill canvas. So it's a 15 ounce canvas.

And it is single fill then it's a 10 ounce canvas.

That explains things. Yep it's a single fill.

the double fill (The Numbered Ducks) are stronger because the warp and weft are made of plied (twisted) yarns.

Plied yarns are produced by twisting together two or more singles yarns.

OK NOW I get it....

 warp-weft.jpg

"Fill threads" are the same as "weft threads" so "double fill" doesn't necessarily say anything about the warp yarns.

So the weft is horizontal.

OH so that's the double weave! that's how they are interconnected two layers.

So my neighbor asked me to shovel for months - any snow - and wanted to pay me. Instead I can get these canvas tarps sewn together. Hopefully.
