Achieved 987 degrees Fahrenheit in the 11 inch by 18 inch Two Dog camp stove - I'll post photos in a bit

So I used one of those pumice bricks in the back on top of the ceramic fiber board on the floor of the wood stove in the back. So I had all four walls in the back covered in ceramic fiber board PLUS the secondary air pipe - emitting a nice blue flame!! haha.
OK I did it!! I got a maximum temp of 987 F. in a 11 inch by 18 inch "Two Dog" wood stove. I had six of those dense Rutland fire bricks and my collar flu was not hot enough. So I was freezing in the hut until I took out the two side wall firebricks near the front door of the stove. So I had four remaining on the floor of the wood stove. Suddenly the exhaust flue temp jumped up 150 F. to 450 F and peaked at over 650 F. I had the heat exchangers to take that down by another two hundred degrees. So also the front door of the wood stove emanated that 500 to 650 F. heat while the secondary combustion "after burn" Ceramic fiber board chamber in the back maintained a consistent 975 F. temp for a CLEAN BURN!! It was fantastic! The only thing is that the steel baffle is oxidizing fast and so will break down fast but I have extra ceramic fiber board to make "walls" to support a purely ceramic fiber board baffle down the road. Or just use more brick - I have the pumice brick. The steel baffle in the Two Dog is only half of the stove length - so 9 inches out of 18. So I extended the ceramic fiber board probably to 15 inches or 14 inches. It was COLD when I got to the hut - so I didn't make a lot of precision measurements....
