Marie-Louise von Franz - On Dreams and Death: The 12 Fruits of the Tree of Life is the 12 months as small universe meditation

Von Franz uses dreams, alchemy (Komarios to Cleopatra), and Egyptian mythology as exploratory tools to convincingly show that for the unconscious life after death is axiomatic.

the lake of fire - that must be also the baptism of fire.
Lacking language death is a feminine world - yes so she argues that individuation INCLUDES resurrection - fascinating to be sure.
"In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month—and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."—Revelation 22:2.
WOW - I didn't know about this. The "Tree of Life" is actually the source of the kundalini energy (the snake) - it is the called the Lower Tan tien or Dantien - in Daoist alchemy. The 12 fruits is then the "small universe" meditation as the 12 music notes of the scale - it is an infinite spiral of 2/3 and 3/2 and yin and yang. This is why the ratio 2/3 was sacred in Egypt.
Yes D.M. Murdock's book "Christ in Egypt" is a great complement to this talk!
her insistence on individualized immortality is pretty funny. That is the main mistake of Western philosophy.
