Indigenous Water Protectors targeted by U.S. military protecting the Dakota Access Pipeline
Over 500 people shot in the face, in the groin or near the spine by so-called "Less than lethal" weapons.
You reminded me of why the US military killed 200,000 Filipinos in the late 1800s - because, as history has well documented, the US investors were afraid that if the U.S. did not "conquer" via a "risky" genocidal invasion then Germany would reap the investment rewards. Smedley Butler, the most decorated U.S. soldier in history, wrote, "War is a Racket" - meaning he worked directly as a mercenary for the elite banking commerce class. And the secret military police used in the Philippines to control the population was then imported back to the interior of the Empire to create the FBI. Wall Street created the CIA as well.
You reminded me of this autobiography of a white man who was captured as a child and he was raised as a traditional Anishinabe person - it was Lousie Erdrich's favorite book when she was growing up. The title will come to me later. Anyway so this women leader takes care of the white male - and their small band of people are starving in the forest. So what does the woman do? She spends the day meditating in a visionary healing practice and she has a vision of where a bear is - so that way they have prepared for the future by seeing the future FIRST.
This is proven by relativistic quantum biology - a good book on the inherent precognitive foundation of reality is by Olivier Costa de Beauregard, "Time: A physical magnitude." - he was in the Institute of ADvanced STudy at Princeton - he was a protege of Nobel physicist Louis de Broglie who considered his greatest discovery to be the "Law of Phase Harmony." You can find that book title in my free 2012 book, "Alchemy of Rainbow Heart Music: How paranormal sonofusion subverts the Matrix conspiracy" - just search it for the pdf. thanks
By socialism I think you mean the U.S. spends 40% of global military spending with some 800 military bases in over 120 countries worldwide - it's an empire based on backing fascist regimes in third world countries that target the working class who try to organize unions - with assassination and massacres and if things get worse a U.S. genocidal sanction blockade or invasion. The U.S. then exports weapons worldwide to prop up the fascist regimes. It's corporate-state fascism as socialism. Socialism in the U.S. is the FREE FED tens of trillions of dollars in the past just 15 years of UNearned income (that's an official economics term by the way) - since the "collapse" of capitalism - to prop up previously illegal stock buybacks. As Nomi Prins, former Wall Street banker, points out - it's the biggest financial scam of parasitical wealth transfer in world history. Even the RAND corporation published a study stating that since the 1970s the working class has transferred $50 trillion in wealth to the billionaire elite in the U.S.
The millions who fled Mexico did so because Cargill, the world's largest private corporation dependent on U.S. tax subsidies, then DUMPED corn into Mexico after NAFTA - thereby driving over a million farmers off their land. Cargill dumped grain into Somalia at 1/6th the local farm price and the farmers had previously controlled Mogadishu. It was called "Food for Peace" - the U.S. making other countries dependent on the U.S. empire by wiping out the small self-sufficient farmers. Now Cargill has been destroying the Amazon rainforest and Pantanal wetland - the largest wetland on Earth - so much that Soybeans are hard currency due to the ILLEGAL Cargill storage elevators for soybeans built in the rainforest. Cargill also operates in over 100 countries worldwide at any one moment.
U.S. investors funded the genocidal killing of 200,000 Filipinos in the late 1800s why? To stop communism or socialism? No - because the U.S. elite was afraid if the military didn't take over then Germany would get the Philippines. So called "development" is in reality a snatch and grab raype and pillage pirate system of wealth creation - using wage slavery worldwide. All those fancy sports apparel clothing is made by young females who can't afford to go to school and can't even make enough money to feed their starving relatives. So much for "development." haha. Spoiled U.S. males want to prance around as dandies in their fancy clothing made by slave girls around the world who have to get forced abortions so they can keep cranking out fancy clothing.
The population growth in the U.S. is only due to immigrants since the U.S. citizens can not afford to have children anymore. haha. That's what happens when a Communist like Eisenhower has a 90% tax rate on the top income levels. Eisenhower was a Communist right? No he needed to fund the U.S. military that's right. Each U.S. soldier that is killed in an overseas imperial racket for the elite has had $1 million dollars in tax monies spent on them. That's why Smedley Butler, the most decorated U.S. marine, wrote, "War is a Racket" - exposing that all his U.S. imperial invasion operations were to prop up elite profits for the Rockefellers, etc.
As Michael E. Hudson, economics professor, points out, Panama was created as a tax haven for oil profits. How do you think those 1980s "PetroDollar" loans to the "third world" worked out? It's called GATT STructural Adjustment programs for a reason? Can't pay your loan shark "development" scam because the money kicked back to U.S. business? Well now you need to cut any government social spending and set up "Free Market" slave zones with fascist guards and fencing - civilization is an open prison to be sure.
So that wealth of the elite that you praise so much is ONLY created as the inverse increase of poverty worldwide. Technology does not create wealth out of nothing - hence our current ecological crisis of abrupt global warming. Mother Nature is taking revenge and soon it will be too hot to grow food at scale. Western "development" has been the equivalent of the asteroid that wiped out life on Earth 65 million years ago. Hilarious.
Corporations were originally charted by the Royals - like the Virginia Corporation that after Bacon's Rebellion in 1670s - then passed corporation elite laws stating that white bond servants could no longer be whipped and that "free negroes" could no longer vote nor own weapons. And also any white women who has a baby with a black man then the baby is a slave for life.
And so the U.S. constitution protected slave rule with the "Commerce Clause" which then was enforced by corrupt railroad government bailouts - so that a State government could no longer regulate railroads as corporations. Soon after a corporation was declared a LEGAL PERSON protected by the BILL OF RIGHTS so that any actual living person on any corporate property thereby loses their Bill of Rights protections. And now the global WTO means a corporation can sue a national government if the Corporation feels they lost their opportunity to maximize profits.
watch the documentary "An Unreasonable Man" about Ralph Nader. The corporate-state election system uses third parties to either split the vote so that a third party voted is no longer voting AGAINST the "worst case" or "bad cop" choice - OR the third party is just litigated out of existence. For example I worked at a "Get out the vote" business for the Democrats and the first thing the workers had to do - at a small activist nonprofit with a "citizens board of directors" was to sign NOndisclosure agreements stating that each worker would no longer "discuss personal politics" while at work. So the First Amendment is the first sacrifice for a successful national corporate-state party. This problem goes all the way back to Plato actually - a good book on this is "The Paper Economy" by David T. Bazelon.
I agree - our original human culture just worked 4 hours a day - as the book "Stone Age Economics" documented - the rest of the time was spent on pursuing happiness as it states in the U.S. constitution. Happiness requires Time whereas Ben Franklin promoted Money as Time based on Compound financial interest.
Nature is based on nonlinear feedbacks as equality - not compound exponential growth. So when the Virginia Corporation invaded the "new World" then there was a workers strike in the early 1600s already at Jamestown and Bacon's Rebellion of both African and European bond-servants. So by the early 1700s the Virginia Corporate Elite passed laws stating White bond servants could no longer be whipped and FREE NEGROES could no longer own weapons nor vote. Any whites having babies with blacks - then the children were slaves for life. And the original genocidal invasion of Native indigenous American Indians could then proceed under the US slave system.
So the first thing to do - as the Spanish conquerors realized is to KICK PEOPLE OFF THEIR LAND - in the U.S. it meant killing off the 50 million bison - because if people can't be self sufficient growing their own food using Humanure Compost and Animal compost - then how can they be forced into wage-slave jobs? Mother Nature does all the real work and she's taking revenge against the supposed productive profits of technological elite investment. Soon it will be too hot to grow food at scale. Enjoy the Lazy Work of Mother Nature. haha.
Sure if you ignore the bigger picture - just like individual families have children because they don't think of humanity as a whole having overpopulation. A typical U.S. citizen has the equivalent of thousands of slaves in terms of the energy use of technology in contrast to doing manual labor. You have relied on a global system of extraction of wealth from around the world - slave wages. Do you realize that 70% of U.S. chocolate is from child slaves in Africa so that the largest private corporation in the world - the Cargills - can keep raking in profits for the elite dependence on tax subsidies? You have been indoctrinated in a "divide and conquer" mentality to blame people more poor than you instead of focusing on the next to no taxes that the elite pay. You do realize that real "wealth" is based on UNearned financial profits from Wall Street propped up by FREE FED money.
Consider the State BANK of North Dakota - when farmers were going to lose their land during the Depression then the State Bank of North Dakota simply stated we will STOP collecting any mortgage payments until the economy recovers. This is the same as the ancient Jubilee as Michael E. Hudson points out - financial economic growth is compound interest and so goes against the nonlinear feedbacks of natural growth. That's why humanure compost is used to grow food worldwide while Rome had to build aqueducts because the Roman Empire didn't practice humanure compost. We think that's "progress" to use slave to build high technology when in fact it's destroying the fertile soil as an expansion of imperialism. A good book on this is "Ecological Imperialism" by Professor Alfred Crobsy - it covers the past 500 years of white colonialists moving to "new land" to destroy the ecology and extract wealth.
Your 401K money is just from previously illegal stock buybacks created by FREE FED Welfare as a "too big to fail" elite subsidy scam. It's not the "real" economy of production. You can't eat money. The real economy is based on ecology. The U.S. lost the northern Spring Wheat crop and most of the oat crop and about a third of California's crops - why? Abrupt global warming and it's just going to get worse. So have fun living in your dream bubble. haha.
Besides there's lots of "agent provocateurs" at poor people social justice protests. The CIA does this as official policy in Europe - "Operation Gladio" - and in Latin America as well - the CIA teaches the fascist regimes to blame so-called "communists" when it's just poor people having an uprising against being murdered all the time. Even now in Honduras the environmental activists are being murdered - and in Colombia, etc. It's proven, as Chomsky documented, the more U.S. AID a country receives the more human rights abuses are committed by that country's government against its people.
yes humans are I think 90% of mammal "biomass" on Earth - humans and their domesticated animals. The wildlife mammals have been almost wiped out. Humans as a whole are something like .02% of biomass of life on Earth - competing with ants I think. So our right-hand dominant technology with left brain dominance is destroying left-handed amino acids of life with right brain dominance as ecology.
Yes a good book on this is "Corporate Planet" by Joshua Karliner - was published way back around 1996. Each sector of the economy in each region is dominated by half a dozen companies at most. So there is a structural supply side economics based on the exponential growth model that "discounts the future" in economics. So yes the supposed "efficiencies" of technology are based on ignoring the environmental damage. Now Mother Nature is taking revenge - with acceleration over the next five years. A good website on this is "arctic - news" blogspot thanks
