I'm still distributing these as part of my lawn work. I will also be spraying EndoMycorrhizal lawn inoculant.
Lawns: Apply as soil drench, 1 tablespoon/gallon, each gallon treats 50 sq. feet. Follow immediately with watering in. do the application just before a rain to get the spores down to the root zone. Mix with water, the actual level of the mix is not as important as ensuring it is evenly distributed over the required area.● A 3-lb. jar will treat up to 2.5 acres of lawn or pasture.his is why we include seven widely-adapted types of fungi spores in our inoculants - Glomus brasilianum, G. clarum, G. deserticola, G. intraradices, G. monosporus, G. mosseae, and Gigaspora margarita - because we feel it is impossible to predict which type will match up with a particular soil/plant/climate situation. Ideally, we would have regional inoculants which would further improve the odds, but this level of propagation is not yet available. When making recommendations to customers, we tend to follow the advice of Dr. Robert Linderman of the USDA’s Horticultural Research Laboratory. He is widely published and generally regarded worldwide as a leading authority on VAM fungi. The guaranteed Endo spore count is a minimum 50 spores/cc,
I ordered the 3 lb jar
that lasts 2 years. At their recommended spread rate it would require
150 backpack sprayer doses at 4 gallons per dose. haha. So I'll be using
that product over a couple seasons. Below are some positive reviews for
similar products sold on Amazon. Also I noticed there is mycelium
growth in the lawn mulch in the bottom of the lawn mower - when the
grass is damp and it sits in the lawn mower in the garage. So I will
harvest that mycelium growth to add to areas of the lawn that need help.
thanks,
I used this product on several areas of my grass that I've struggled to keep alive for the past year. I tried everything (including several other organic products) before this but nothing worked. And in our town, there are major water restrictions (can only water the grass 1-2 times a week) so I've been hunting for a product that improves my lawn's water intake. I gave [endomycorrhizals] a shot not long ago after seeing the reviews and I'm completely blown away. My grass isn't just healthy now, it's thriving.
Totally revived my new sod, which was badly burned due to the heat the week it was installed. Totally green in 10-14 days!
Got some nice results in an area where I felt the soil was dead/sterile from dog urine.
All subjects developed solid root systems and really thrived even though there had been issues with drought and heat waves. They had been impervious to pest or disease.
