Better cotter Twist pin or self locking hitch pin clip or Linch Pin for the broadcast spreader: The Andersons LCO-1000 Rotary Fertilizer/Ice Melt Spreader

I might be able to just twist the R-clip so it fits that shape of cotter pin.

Or it is probably sold as an extra part.

yeah this looks to be a China made spreader - so the company just gets them "branded" and doesn't have parts or assembly, etc.

So I'll see if I can find that part on a China wholesale site or even a retail site.

So it looks like they just bent an R-clip back under. That is what I need to do. I don't see that type of clip sold. So maybe they just modified the R-clip themselves.

 OK I guess it's a Twist Pin.

OK there it is on its own.

So it's a Twist Pin only with a longer end.

A self locking hitch pin clip

OK Hitch Pin is the more common name.

NO "hitch pin" is just another name for cotter pin!

Self-Locking Grip Clip-Twist Pin

so we just need them to be longer on one end.

Is it easier to just bend an R type?

So in China they are called Linch Pins

Here they are called Lynch Pins.
