video on how James Fetzer is successfully sued
Pozner v. Fetzer is the first known defamation case tried to verdict on
behalf of a victim’s family against alt-right hoaxers who harass victims
and their families after mass casualty incidents.
James Fetzer has his academic books published by the Moonie cult front press "Paragon House" and then Paragon House moved their publishing office next to University of Minnesota (from NYC). Fetzer was a U of MN Professor at the time and held a JFK conference at U of MN. Other JFK researchers disowned Fetzer after that conference.
@spoonful I'm talking about a personal email that Professor Peter Dale Scott sent to me as a response to information I sent him. So yes it was Professor Emeritus Peter Dale Scott who disowned James Fetzer. take care,
@Alison Maynard I contacted him first when I was a graduate student at University of Minnesota. Fetzer had organized a JFK conference in collaboration with my graduate program advisor, Professor Art Harkins. I had an Op-ed published for the MN Daily, serving 50,000 people, on how our Liberal Studies graduate studies newsletter had promoted Werner von Braun, as Harkins said von Braun was his personal mentor. But no mention was made of Werner von Braun being an SS Major personally supervising mass slave labor. So then Harkins emailed me only stating: "I will personally make sure you are never published in the MN Daily again." So then when I emailed Professor Peter Dale Scott then I was informing him how I had visited the local Paragon House publisher to look into this Ken Wilber book and I discovered that Fetzer's books were actually being published by the Moonies. And not onlly were his "academic" books from the Moonies (a far right wing cult tied to the military) but also that the Moonies had MOVED their publsiher office from NYC to close to the University of Minnesota. This office also includes their network of professors. And so Art Harkins had also been in the military. So then Professor Peter Dale Scott told me he had attended that JFK conference at the Twin Cities but that he had to disown Fetzer and he wasn't the only one - because the information was so bad. And also he said, "If I were you I'd be careful." Professor Peter Dale Scott was of course aware of Werner von Braun's connection to the JFK assassination.
Here's a formal critique by Alison 'Sunny" Maynard about their involvement: Oh, man, is this a crock. This Zimmerman pair are shysters and Pozner is the harasser, not the harassee. Pozner has gotten into MY private emails. (I am a former lawyer who helped Fetzer, without charge, when he could not find counsel--and I have been pursued groundlessly and relentlessly by Jake Zimmerman.)
Let's get the facts straight about the groundless defamation case the Zimmermans brought. Prof. Fetzer charged in his book that the death certificate of Noah was a forgery. The death certificate he published was provided to him by Pozner himself, as Pozner admitted at his deposition, through the offices of a person named Kelley Watt. That death certificate has no certification from the town clerk on the lefthand side, which means it is a forgery AS A MATTER OF CONNECTICUT LAW. Despite what Miss Z asserts in the video at 2:26, the death certificate shown there is NOT certified. (In fact, after the case was filed at least four new, materially different death certificates of Noah surfaced.) Despite the fact that summary judgment should have been awarded to FETZER on this point, or at least that there were material issues of fact requiring submission of the case to a jury, the toady judge improperly decided them on his own. Slam bam, thank you, ma'am. As for the $450,000 "judgment," that came from a jury which was not permitted to decide liability, since the judge had already determined there was defamation on summary judgment. Just damages, in and of itself a gross abuse of discretion by this judge. I am told Miss Z cried during her opening statement, and that there was a big photo of Noah hanging in front of the jury during closing argument. I cannot imagine anything more prejudicial.
As for the DNA, there was a legal impossibility--a break in the chain of custody of the DNA the Zimmermans had tested--such that its provenance was unknown. The toady judge jumped over that problem (which had no relevance to whether the death certificate was a forgery, anyway). Fetzer wanted to do discovery into the event itself, to show that the event was staged and no one died, but the judge bifurcated the case, assuring Fetzer and Mike Palecek they would get that right "later," when their counterclaims were tried, which meant they never got that right at all. In the meantime, the judge fast-tracked the case. The only discovery Fetzer was permitted to do was to take Pozner's deposition. But this was after Fetzer's response to Pozner's summary judgment motion was due., another absurd denial of due process.
As for their "pro bono" work, the Zs skip over the part about them pressing a bogus contempt charge against Fetzer, which resulted in a $1 million fine from Judge Toady--payable to them. So, right, their client didn't pay the bill, but that did not mean they were working without compensation.
I agree "this is not how we behave--this is not part of the social contract" to file spurious claims and have a judge who automatically grants them, while denying the defendant rights the rules clearly require be afforded any litigant, and never even mentioning their strongly meritorious defenses.
Hit piece, Jim was fighting the corrupt establishment and deep state .
@PATRIC MINDERHOUT yes - well so were the Boogaloo Boys pretending to be supporting George Floyd while they set fires and shot at the police station in Minneapolis. Then the fake antifa group is held up as a boogie man when in fact it was the fascist racists being closeted and pretending to be fighting. I've personally been arrested eight times doing activism and I worked for half a dozen nonprofits doing activism. I got a Master's Degree in the same Liberal Studies program that Jim was also directing - only he was in Duluth and I was in the Twin Cities.
I personally met with the General Counsel of the University of Minnesota nine times to get the University to join the Workers Rights Consortium. I personally debated the student senate to stop the University from profiting from using young female slave labor to sell sports clothing.
I personally thanked the African-American female treasurer Georgina Stephens after she got the Free Burma resolution passed the Regents - to divest from Total Oil using slave labor in Burma (the University divested $1.5 million of Total oil stock). She personally told me that next she would go after tobacco stocks. The University administration then targeted her personal data and fired her and she filed a discrimination lawsuit. The judge threw it out.
I personally exposed Jim Fetzer's Liberal Studies Director partner at the Twin Cities campus - Professor Art Harkin - promoting his personal mentor Werner von Braun - as having been an SS Nazi personally supervising mass slave labor. Professor Hartkin then personally emailed me stating he would make sure I was never published in the MN Daily (serving 50,000 people) again.
The University President then personally emailed me asking me to not go on "unlimited hunger strike" since I had done enough already - and he then signed the University to join the Workers Rights Consortium.
So yeah I'm not impressed by you claiming Jim is fighting corrupt establishment and the deep state. I personally wrote a report exposing the 300 corporations that get 100% tax deductible donations to the University to then control so-called public science research at the University.
I personally passed this report out at the President's State of the Union annual talk - to the professors attending.
I personally heard the General Counsel running the University (the Presidents come and go) that, "I hope the Professors on this committee are tenured" - a joking threat in regards to the Workers Rights Consortium. Then my 800 plus emails in my university account were all deleted as an inside job - I asked the computer lab and was told - yes only the University administration would have access to my account.
So I call BS in your claim he is fighting anything - his books are published by the Moonies - a right wing fascist cult. I personally went to their publishing office - and it also held a fake network of Professors as well - and the Moonies front publishing group had recently moved from NYC to the Twin Cities University campus - just nearby. I'm talking about Paragon House. "Then he learned Paragon was owned by the Unification Church"
My understanding is Jim claims he didn't realize his books were published by a right-wing fascist cult. Wow he's a real fighter of the deep state indeed. What a joke. It's more likely that he is like the Boogaloo Boys - only PRETENDING to be fighting the deep state.
