So it took the help of another plus that "pool noodle" to get the stove pipe rolled up for the first time. It doesn't have any serious creases - no kinks. So I will leave it rolled up and put in the car and then burn it tomorrow when I farm sit.
So the stove pipe is six feet tall I'm estimating - luckily our place has very tall ceilings.
I'll look that up.
https://3fulgear.com/index.php/product/304-stainless-steel-tribe-wood-stove/
says chimney is "about 2.2 meters." So over six feet.
So I figured that the stove pipe would be "wobbly" and so I ordered an accessory from another stove pipe that is similar - that is a "spark arrestor" with 3 rings on it to tie down the stove pipe.
So what's the diameter of this?
inner diameter is 63MM
so 2.5 inches
Let's see if I can measure the diameter of this stove pipe. I'll have to take if off the stove.
I'll do that in a bit. And edit it back into the blog post. Yep it's just under 2.5 inches so should work!!
yeah just under 16 inches
Just under 8 inches tall
So the "laser welding" all fit together very tightly - and seems very solid.
The door handle works quite well as does the vent.
And of course the nice flat surface is strong enough to hold a pot or pan for cooking.
I really like this round design as it seems more stable as a "box" is more wobbly.
Also they have good inserts for the stove to slide into each wall.
It weighed in at just under six pounds with the packing bag.
So they say 4 pounds - is that without the stove pipe?
Yeah that's the "furnace body."
Total storage weight :2460g (including storage bag) / 5.42lb
So I will put mesh screen on the bottom to allow the stainless steel to hold up longer as it's quite thin.
So that's how it stores back into the bag.
I am just very impressed by the design of this stove. Now we will see how it burns - tomorrow.
I will just put the stove in the car - so I don't have to try to put it back together again while at the farm. haha.
