The Pure Joy of the Revlon Full Jaw Nipper Hangnail (ingrown toenail) remover: Liberating my left big toe

For the first time I used this tool on my left big toe nail.

The relief was amazing!

For years I've had a minor irritating toenail that is or WAS - somewhat ingrown. I would always - I used a different pocket knife scissors before to trim it. But it never quite "did" the job. And then I misplaced that pocket knife - maybe it's up north? Or maybe in the car somewhere.

Anyway....so I tried out this NEW tool that I've never used in my life. The results felt so amazing!!

Instantly my toe felt liberated from years of oppression.

I always felt pain on my left big toe if I had pressure on it - bumped it - the wrong way. I thought I was just being a wimp - so I just lived with it. NO!! Now the pain is vanished.

Let's see what the reviews say.

Did anyone else have such a transformative experience? Maybe I cut a little bit too far. Maybe it will grow back worse? All I know is for now the overall sensation is liberation.

200 ratings... how many reviews?

I had several pairs of Revlon nippers in the 70's and as a manicurist used them for YEARS. This newer model = hot mess. They do not glide open or close smoothly as the older models did and they tend to catch midway going either direction. That is frustrating when attempting to nip a tiny bit of cuticle or hang nail and having to reposition and start again. The nipper blades do not line up well and to top it off, they aren't as sharp as they should be. Really disappointed with this inferior product.
Ah just as I suspected - the tool I used is YEARS old and so much better quality than the cheap knock-offs now made.

Amazing! The next review says - not as sharp and wobbly!! Yep!!

My experience was sharp and stiff - a clean cut.

I didn't have any serious malformation and it wasn't even really an "in-grown" toe nail - maybe just a little bit. But a little bit goes a long way apparently!

This cutical nipper is a different metal than the old Revlon ones. It has a different "feel" than the other ones did. It feels like tin.
Wow - that is a 2013 review! So to get a good quality metal sharp ingrown toe nail remover you gotta go back before 2013.....
strong blades of the old German made Revlon nipper, this is not it.
So a 2016 review states:

the one i bought 9 years ago is far superior.
So 2007 was the last time maybe to get a good one.

2012 says the spring broke on there's.

So that pushes it back 8 years if not 13 years!! That's a long time ago to get a good pair of ingrown toe nail cutters!!
