Origins of War: Anthropology Prof. R. Brian Ferguson debunks Steven Pinker's war violent humans ideology

You can see from my comments - I predicted that there would be the repeated lies about Elizabeth Marshall Thomas' book "The Harmless People."

Sure enough!

Is this person gonna lie about anthropologist Dr. Elizabeth Marshall Thomas' book "The Harmless People"?
ah John Horgan is repeating the lies about Elizabeth Marshall Thomas' book "The Harmless People" - should have expected that.
Amazingly Professor Brian Ferguson DEBUNKS STeven Pinker! So glad to see this. I discovered Pinker's repeating of lies - and the typical "promotion" of science lies as rational humanism, blah, blah.

It's comforting that a true expert in the field is corroborating my claim that Steven Pinker was wrong.

So Ferguson amazingly even documents war not spreading into China until the 5th millennium BCE!! In other words we can trace the spread of organized warfare with the spread of wheat-based Westernized civilization - monocultural farming with the plow and chariot and wagon....

He disputes the belief of many scholars that humans may have inherited their genetic makeup from their chimpanzee cousins millions of years ago. After examining every reported chimpanzee killing, Ferguson, who is writing a book on the subject, believes that war among chimps was not an evolved evolutionary strategy but rather a response to human contact and disturbances.

At a slightly later time, settlements, weapons and burials in the northern Tigris suggest war involving settled villages of hunter-gatherers between 9750 and 8750 B.C. Nearby, the earliest known village fortifications occurred among farming people in the seventh millennium, and the first conquest of an urban center took place between 3800 and 3500 B.C. By that date, war was common across Anatolia, spread in part by conquering migrants from the northern Tigris.

  (h) The "Talmudic Tradition" of emphasizing learning and abstract reasoning provides a clear cultural explanation for higher IQ among Ashkenazi. In Ashkenazi history,
yep - similarly with religious training for females in Islam. I have noticed that the Somali females do very well in education due to their religious training.

So here was have a psychologist - probably funded by the military - refusing to accept Ferguson's evidence.
