Sikkim - ONLY organic farming allowed for 700,000 people, all other food BANNED

10 acre farm? 16 different crops!! Inter-cropping is the key to soil health.

new Germany documentary

I just skip the parts on Germany and go straight to the Sikkim Asian farmers.

Planet Earth - BBC Series was made in 2007. The final episode is called "The Future" - and gets its own disc as a kind of conclusive commentary. The funny thing is how the emphasis is on how poor non-WEsterns WANT all our luxury items. Then they show the "poor" people living in the same kind of primitive hut that I'm trying to build! haha.

So I pause the vid - to study their walls. It's in Africa - so no insulation. Just mud cob walls - but with the wood framing. It's not wattled (or weaved) but rather tied off.

It's quite hilarious that the so-called "poor" people in that Future vid on "sustainability" were really the ONLY sustainable part of the video! Certainly poor people need Western "improvements" like medicine, etc. if only because of imposed colonialism spreading disease, etc.

On the other hand Westerners should be adapting the true sustainable "culture" of the nonwesterners - a culture that goes back to the Bronze Age and even further. I call this the Natural Resonance Revolution.

A good French leftist philosopher activist wrote about this in his book on the history of God - REgis Debray. Not quite in those terms. He was doing more "media analysis."

I'll see what he's been doing lately. It's all in French. Maybe there's subtitles.

nope - no English. oh well.
