What is Unified Yuan Qi? Ingesting Fuqi: Is there both a Yang "yuan qi" and a Yin "yuan qi" or are they Undivided aka Unified Qi as Yuan qi?

OK so that's you just making up Western b.s.
Here is a quote from Taoist Yoga: alchemy and immortality

The primal qi (li yuanqi) ....formless
Quote
"Since is it the undivided yin-yang it is called the One Vitality."
OK let's compare again just so we can be REAL clear here:
YOU:
Quote
Primordial Qi is Yang
the Taoist Yoga book:
Quote
undivided yin-yang
You:
Quote
The Yuan Qi is Yin
The book - an actual Taoist Yoga training manual - not just a Western making b.s. up
Quote
undivided yin-yang it is called the One Vitality

OK going back to Pregadio
I'll have to transcribe it - since that does not allow cut and paste:
Quote
Primordial Spirit and Primordial Essence become enclosed in entities of the opposite sign.
So you want to claim what?
Quote
The Primordial Qi is Yang. The Yuan Qi is Yin.
But what does Pregadio state?
Quote
Primordial Spirit (yin) to be enclosed in the mind/heart (yang) and primordial Essence (yang) to be enclosed in the kidneys (yin).

So you are confusing the kidneys with the yuan qi. The Yuan Qi is Yang - yes - and it is ALSO the "primordial" qi. The Yuan Qi divides into Heaven as Yuan Shen and Earth as Yuan Jing. These two divided yin and yang then create yin qi and yang qi. When the yin (yuan shen) and yang shen (yuan jing) then reverse - the yin qi is with the yang shen and yang qi is with the yin shen.

To quote Pregadio again:
Quote
Primordial Qi (Yuan Qi) or Pure Yang...Pure yang divides itself into yin and yang.
So he calls the "Dao" as the Principle" and then states that Yuan Shen and Yuan Jing are "two other modes" of the Principle - and this Principle is also the Yuan Qi.

Hey - I appreciate you inspiring me to "review" this research.

You have helped me to clarify things for myself.

I kind of doubt though that you will take Pregadio seriously. haha.

Notice Pregadio never calls the Yuan Qi as "yin."

But there is a "paradox" about what "yang" is - in the sense that it IS the "undivided yin-yang" or the undivided Shen-Jing as Yuan Qi.

So the Yuan Jing and Yuan Shen are cultivated back to the Yuan Qi - this Yuan Qi then "disperses the body." So the Yuan Qi is both within the body and without the body at the same time.

So now we consider the term
fuqi as ingesting qi during bigu.

The Encyclopedia of Taoism: 2-volume set

  Quote
"adepts absorb qi and store it in their internal bodies."
This is called the
"Ingestion of Qi" - and the immediate effect is a "depleting of the body" - because it's done through fasting.
  Quote
but it soon becomes stronger.
So tell me what is the "substance" that is being absorbed and ingested - while fasting in meditation?

Now I'm speaking from experience here - I did achieve this state.
But maybe you didn't want to believe this is true? Maybe you need some remedial reading?
I'll quote another source - it's from earlier in this thread: I will enlarge the text since I need to repeat myself for you to maybe actually comprehend this:
I am referring to this practice:
  Quote
See also Eskildsen (Asceticism, 44-51) for a discussion of ingesting primordial qi in extreme fasting regimens such as that in the Taiqing zhonghuang zhenjing 太清中黃真經 HY816 (Central Yellow True Scripture of the Grand Purity). He dates this regimen to the “fourth century or earlier” (44), placing it within the date-range of many source texts of the Yangxing yanming lu. Switkin also describes the ingestion of primal qi as a stage of purification, gradually replacing the unpurified qi of the body until the practitioner attains immortality. He cites the main method for doing so as foetal breathing (Immortality, 16 ff, 25 n.22).

An early graphic variant, found on the twelve-sided jade piece, engraved with a verse describing the inhalation of ‘moving qi’ has the radical fire 火 instead of rice below the vapour.16Daoists thus focused on various techniques for cultivating qi, by which the bodily microcosm could be harmonised with the macrocosm thereby leading to transcendence.
Imbiding Cosmic Qi

So the above is a "repeated" quote - but I prefaced it with a "new" quote - thereby possibly prompting you to maybe do some remedial reading and actually acknowledge the quote that I "repeated."
Now I will add another "new" quote - and if you ignore this one - I guess I can just "repeat" it later.
Right?
Quote
The most basic forms of Daoist cultivation were methods of ingesting qi by which the practitioner could inhale the pure vapour (qi) circulating in the universe.
Now I emphasized that to articulate that this Yuan Qi that is "ingested" inside the body is the SAME Yuan Qi of the universe.

So now I'll give a fourth quote to further corroborate my claim:
Quote
This cosmogonic process is here explained through the efficacy of qi which is here defined as the primordial dynamic substance that is the manifested aspect of the Dao. Simultaneously pervasive and dynamic, qi is the cause of the transformation of the Dao from its ineffable uniqueness into the things of the world. These ideas are neither new nor unique, and hark back to Warring States and Han cosmological speculations. The significance of this cosmogonic account is that it provides a cosmological explanation for the various methods of ingesting and manipulating qi,
The resistor's current I in amps (A) is equal to the resistor's voltage V in volts (V) divided by the resistance R in ohms (Ω): So by increasing the voltage and decreasing the resistance (through fasting and meditation as visualization) then we increase the AMPS as current.

Gate of Life - Preheaven Qi - ph.d. thesis - in the body

alchemy is based on an inverse relation to reproduction. So at age 16 - the mind is in control along with the reproductive organs - but the mind originates from Yuan shen (from before birth) and the reproductive energy from yuan jing - and the shen goes under the jing to return to the Yuan Qi of the Dao.
So this process requires that what otherwise would be used for reproduction is then RETURNED back to the pineal gland and the thymus gland of the heart - the Lecithin is what myelinates the nerves so they can hold charge - just as an electric eel functions.
So the pineal gland and thymus get hot and get bigger - and the fontanelle of the skull gets soft and pulsates with qi - just like a baby.

So now we consider the TCM perspective on Yuan Qi.

So this is what is being argued by the TCM acupuncturist. So that is called Tai as the Yang under Yin that in reality is the Yang qi under the yin qi, thereby creating the mystery of Water with Fire inside it. from this source pdf
Therefore "Kan" as Earth is created from "Heaven Water." or Yuan Jing as Yang Shen under yin qi. (this is my take on it).
