Is the vagus nerve connection to TCM really "risking people's health"? Dr. Shuang Yan Guan Zhu on youtube!

Seems like that Vagus Nerve study would not go against TCM nor Western medicine.

The editors look solid.

Oh I forgot - you like Western technology but NOT Western science! yes - a bit of a quandary isn't is?

As far as "risking people's health" - well I'm not selling anything - and I do believe in free speech. I just post my opinions on a forum.
So I'm not sure what you mean really. I'm certainly just posting my information based on my own analysis. I guess if people find it persuasive - then that is their own opinion as well.

Also Acupunture is not "risk free" also - for example people have died from getting a special Heart needle treatment!

Have you heard of this?

However, serious complications of acupuncture are on record as well: acupuncture needles can injure vital organs like the lungs, the spinal cord, major blood vessels or the heart; and they can introduce all sorts of infections into the body. It is thus hardly surprising that about 100 fatalities after acupuncture have been reported in the medical literature — a figure which, due to the lack of an effective monitoring system, is likely to be just the tip of the iceberg.

No I think I would rather have someone just NOT even touch me - and instead use their VooDoo powers. haha.

Fatalities after CAM: an overview.

but on the vagus nerve and TCM - there is a Western trained Chinese doctor who has done interesting research on this. I cite him in my free training manual.

But since you are practicing self-censorship - I'll just assume others might be interested. So I'll post it here (in case you might read it by accident as well!)
Somebody posted this version of my research - so it's word searchable.

“It’s unbelievable!” says Gerhard H. Eggetsberger, biochemist and technical head of the Institute for applied Biocybernetics and Feedback Research, in Vienna.
Quote
“This man [qigong master Mantak Chia] is able to change his electrical skin resistance in a split second from 60 Q up to 6080 Q and to lower it down again. We even know how he does it – through a kind of sympathetic reflex. This means that he can simply switch from the Nervus Vagus to the Nervus Sympaticus. An untrained body would never do this as completely as he does this. We are scientifically proving spiritual knowledge that is 6000 years old!” (Through the Power of the Inner Smile, http://Universal-tao.com)

Yeah I guess that's not TCM? I don't know. Here's the quote:

Quote
Route II: Micro-Cosmic Circulation
This route is the same as above, except when the Qi passes through the foramen magnum. The Qi enters into the brain through the Cingular Gyrus. The Qi travels along the Cingular Gyrus and enters into the third ventricle. At the chamber near the pineal gland, the Qi turns around and down the brain stem into the Vagus nerve and back to the lower Dan Tian. This is called the micro cosmic circulation.
In Dao meditation, the micro-cosmic… the meridian of Ren, in our opinion, equivalent to the Vagus nerve in the abdomen
Dr. Shuang Yan Guan Zhu
So he states:
http://sygz2012.blogspot.com/
a lot of info there.
It is interesting to note that in Shashuma research:

Quote
“ The centers of chakras are expressed as plexuses outside the spinal cord …..and on the gross level, one can see there is a gap between the solar plexus and the Vagus nerve of the parasympathetic nerves system. This gap is known as the void in the Zen system or religion and Maya (or Bhava Sagar) in Indian thought
I'm quoting from his blog.
Here is his book - https://www.dropbox.com/s/dzv70mjt8uv2pmc/Qi%20Dao%20-%20by%20Shi%20Yin%20Wong%20%E7%82%81%E9%81%93_final.pdf?dl=0

So he is Chinese but Western trained and he studies nonwestern philosophy - but he's a  Western medical doctor. He's not selling the book - it's just his free opinion.
there he is on youtube!

So I suppose he is "risking people's health"....

yes when we take Spring Forest Qigong classes - we all sign waivers since I suppose there are risks involved.

So when we download his book we can word search it.

I hope my "writing style" is ok there - when I say we - I really mean "you" - a dozen times. haha.

OK now I'll quote from that medical doctor's book:

I'm transcribing since this website does not allow cut and paste from pdfs (although it USEd to!).
  Quote
"It has been shown that chanting certain Yoga mantras stimulates the vagus nerve, the most important single nerve in the body."

ok that's page. 45 of QiDao.

So then he is citing, on page 53, the book "Meditation as Medicine." Dr. Dharma Singh Khalsa, for the above quote.

So he mentions the vagus nerve several times - with the same above quote I gave - then states:
  Quote
So the meridian of Du is the spinal cord and the meridian of Ren, in our opinion, equivalent to the Vagus in the abdomen."
that's page 83.
Now like you, he states OUR as a misplaced pronoun modifier. I'm not sure who this plural refers to. I'll get back to YOU on that....

So he states "we" - of course he could be just referring to the people who READ his research! haha.

Cardiovascular vagal regulations by auricular acupuncture have been investigated in clinical trials and animal experiments [6, 10–18]. In elite basketball athletes, the value of heart rate decreased at 30th and 60th minutes postexercise in auricular acupuncture group compared with that in normal control group [6].
Auricular Acupuncture for Vagal Regulation

Numerous investigations showed that vagal tone was elicited by auricular acupuncture or auricular acupressure [6–8].

the physical form is destroyed - so your original body is...
Quote
draw the former into his physical body which will imbibe the light which will transform it into vapour. If he fails to get hold of the golden light his body will not evaporate.’
turned into Yuan Qi - vapour -
Quote
In other words this is the union of his positive and negative spirits which creates his true spirit which can transform his bodily self into vapour which then gathers to take shape. This is prenatal vitality in the prenatal state which in fact is wholly positive vitality, or positive spirit created by the five kinds of eyes (see below) and six transcendental powers, which is visible to others, can speak to them, can pick up objects and has the same features as his own body.

excellent point. Yes the "immortal fetus" is the yuan qi of the middle tan t'ien - and then after a certain level this goes beyond death. So you access the yuan qi directly via the right side of the heart - beyond death - with each breath - and from this you create Yuan Shen that are sent out to heal people. I saw qigong master chunyi Lin doing this - each spirit is created individualized for each person being healed - it forms a top his head, the breaks off and floats out to the person being healed. So it is the Yuan Qi that does the healing - and so beyond a certain stage there is no need to "store" the energy in the lower tan t'ien.

For example qigong master Jim Nance in 2005 - we were at the Red Dragon restaurant - and the waitress brought the water but he insisted to have it returned since the water had ice in it. Then in 2014 or so - we were at another chinese restaurant and he drank the water with ice. I asked him what had changed - he said after a certain level it didn't matter. Also he said that he no longer did the horse stance as much to build up the energy stored in his lower tan t'ien. So he was just accessing it directly via the Yuan Qi beyond death through the heart. I know this since he gave me this experience - the right side of the heart got activated with strong qi - when I was ranting about politics while driving the car. He first said, "But I'm on your side!" I kept ranting. He got super quiet and then suddenly the right side of my heart - real deep - got strong qi electrical pulsations. So I immediately shut up. Then he said, "I just wanted to see if you were speaking from your heart and you were."

actually so the golden body "yang shen" still has "yin qi" blockages in it - from the physical yin qi blockages. So if you read the book - the reproductive organ first has to completely wither away - after it goes inside the body. And no salt can be eaten. So the yuan qi is very powerful. If you experience it you would know. The non-western tradition is filled with stories of spiritual masters having their bodies literally disappear. So yes the NEW body is actually made from anti-matter - from virtual matter. So it is spirit-light but as golden light - the "mass" of gold (as science has detailed) is due to relativity and quantum together - so the reason gold is so dense is due to matter from the future or anti-matter as reverse spacetime. The Yuan Qi is spacetime ITSELF. So the spiritual master EMBODIES the EMPTINESS as the formless boundless body. So then the  Emptiness itself DECIDES or GUIDES the spirit and decides when the spirit will manifest as a golden body. This new body then is "Matter" but it is actually LIGHT. If you trap light into a box it's impossible to tell by the weight if it is matter or pure light. The MASS does not change. But since light has no "rest mass" - in fact the mass as spacetime is changing all the time - and so new physical matter is inherently this golden infinite body already - but only from its own perspective.
