That's from Elizabeth Marshall Thomas' last book on the Khoisan – the Old Way. And from her first book – The Harmless People – the first on the Khoisan, after extensive anthropology work:"Interestingly, the Ju/wasi took no position on homosexuality, which seemed unknown. Researchers of other hunter-gatherer societies have also found an absence of homosexuality. Perhaps the Old Way, with its arduous lifestyle, does not transmit this quality."

We can induce this through the "trance dancing" also - and so the Oedipal Complex (or as Jung emphasized for females - the Electra Complex) gets solved. Bonobo males for example live with their moms their whole lives - and bonobo males only ejaculate when they are going to reproduce, despite the females controlling the reproduction "culture" in bonobo society. I will look into chimpanzee homosexual violence - but my point is that lesbians - or as primatalogists call it, "G to G rubbing" (genitalia) has the OPPOSITE neurotransmitter effect since the female orgasm stays in the parasympathetic relaxation nervous system - and so does not spike cortisol, as ejaculation does. So the original human culture males train in "staying power" by having female orgasms through parasympathetic rebound - called Quick Fire breathing in daoism or Tummo breathing in Tibetan culture - Wim Hof can now control his hypothalamus DIRECTLY - and so ran a marathon in the Namibian desert - with no water. So this stuff is not ESOTERIC - it is directly relevant to Paul (half)Wit-Beck's vids. haha. YES - the original human culture had to survive the Mt. Toba supervolcano explosion when humans "bottlenecked" into just a few thousand survivors (and hence one pack of chimpanzees has more DNA diversity than the 7 to 9 billion human trajectory). I call this the "Trajectory of Tantric Technology" - because left brain dominance with right hand dominance is based on subconscious "zombie" control - since the right side vagus nerve connects to the left side of the brain but the left side vagus nerve DOES NOT connect to the right side of the brain. So we think of science as "objective" but the left brain dominance is driven by the feminist analysis of subconscious projection, repression and oppression of the Other. It is just that this dynamic is defined by complementary opposites - on a deeper level than even - what I call "technofeminism" realizes. So all of reality is based on complementary opposites - as the San Bushmen realized. N/om is an inherent male-female dynamic as the T'ai Chi or the "three gunas" of India (Sattva, Tamas, Rajas) - this is from music theory. The oldest human language is the most musical with the most sophisticated sounds - and humans as primates are the only primate with the females living in a group in nature, precisely synchronized to the lunar cycle. In India tantra this is called the "Lunar Love Digit" - referring to the clitoris. We are all born with a clitoris - it just turns into a penis for males, as the genitalia is externalized. And so in Daoism - females are "yang" internally while males are yin internally and so males have to train to be yang internally like females - as a "reversal." There is actually a double reversal - as in Indian yoga - the cerebrospinal fluid overflows of the brain, as the pressure builds up - out of the sinus cavity and is swallowed, causing great heat in the stomach - and the N/om or qi or prana is absorbed into the small intestines where it is stored as the "2nd brain" energy. Quantum biology is starting to recognize this - the biophotons of the small intestines are linked to serotonin as a mediator of collagen-neuron based quantum consciousness that is nonlocal (a 5th dimensional vortex through our 2nd brain). So Modern humans really have no idea of the real psychophysiology required for ecological sustainable culture. Even Wim Hof doesn't know how his tummo breathing works - but he certainly is allowing scientists to test him to no end. haha. So when the breath is held after exhalation, this activates the vagus nerve and causes the blood to rush to the head. When I was in first grade I held my breath till I passed out and I hit a couple concrete walls on the way down to the concrete floor - in the boy's bathroom - and blood flowed out of my skull. WE boys had a contest who could hold their breath the longest (on the way to the bathroom to wash hands before lunch). But it was not until after meditation (and research, discovering this is considered physically impossible by Western science since the anterior cingulate gyrus is supposed to OVERRIDE the prefrontal cortex intention to hold the breath) - that I realized I had repressed subconscious anger).
