People often ask how does [insert secret real name of real ancient Chinese secrets] unify the yin and yang?

In Neidan this is called "Extracting Lead to Replenish Mercury." Lead is then translated as vitality or qi and mercury originates from original spirit or yuan shen.

And so first of all in meditation, the shen must be visualized as below the jing - or the fire below the water - so that steam is created. This is called turning the Red Dragon into the Green Dragon - so that the power of the shen, the liver qi, turns into wisdom as the female energy (external red yang goes internal green).

Secondly ONLY the Quick Fire breathing or Warrior breathing has the power to sublimate the Lead - so that the black water is turned into the white tiger as True Lead - going into the brain. The pressure in the brain increases and this overflows as the Golden Nectar, after the white tiger combines with the Shen and qi that emanates from the heart, and out of the pineal gland.

Thirdly - this White Tiger then overflows as ambrosia - the golden nectar - which contains shen and qi - as the hidden yang within the yin. And so at first the green dragon merged with the black tiger to create the white tiger - and now the white tiger turns back into the red dragon - meaning the Lead functions in the House of Li, the Fire.

So this is the secret of how Dragon goes into Tiger and Tiger goes into Dragon - so that the yang qi returns as with "substance" - the overflowing ambrosia - and when swallowed, creates great heat in the pit of the stomach, which is then absorbed back into the small intestines.

Fourthly - then the qi of Mercury through this process is replenished - so then the alchemical pill as the undivided yin-yang elixir then is restored, once the jing as yin qi is restored to a 16 year old - and thus the middle tan-t'ien opens up as the Yellow Sprouts (the Absolute Void of the T'ai Chi) and the light as shen then issues forth as the mysterious valley. (Mysterious is the yang qi, Valley is the yin qi). And so the central channel opens up as the three tan-t'iens working together.

Fifthly - at this stage - it is now chapter 6 of Taoist Yoga: alchemy and immortality - the yin-yang (dragon-tiger qi) has to be crystallized to turn the yuan qi into shen - and thus achieve "cold storage" as the "inner cell" of the lower tan t'ien - to store the qi for safe keeping. This is achieved by the two eyes, each one being (left) dragon and right (tiger) - and so when rotated - this activates the shen-qi unification. Rotating to the right, raises up the shen-qi to open up the third eye. Rotating to the left, then stores the qi back into the inner cell of the lower tan-t'ien. And thus as the yuan qi continues to build up, then the Yuan shen continues to build up and the light gets stronger, seen externally, outside the body.

Six: - then the Golden Nectar as the Yang Qi has to keep developing, thereby increasing the the Light of Vitality or Light of the Lead, from the Tiger, the Water. And so the first light of the T'ai Chi, is the first half of enlightenment. It creates the Yin Shen - and so a person at this stage will be a ghost immortal. The 2nd half first creates golden light and so achieves true immortality - of the yang shen, to preserve a new body. This body can be seen by others - but in the end it returns back to original vitality or "yuan Qi" which is the Mother of Shen.

Richard Boyce of McGill University in Montreal and colleagues interrupted REM sleep in mice in a more delicate way. The researchers blocked a brain oscillation called theta waves in the hippocampus, a brain structure involved in memory, during REM sleep. According to Science News, this lighter touch meant that the mice stayed asleep but had fewer REM-related theta waves in their hippocampi. Usually, post-learning sleep helps strengthen memories. But researchers found mice with disturbed REM sleep had memory trouble.

thanks! I did not know of Leroy Little Bear. I will listen to his youtube, etc. Greenpeace sent me out to Inila Wakan, at Pine Ridge Reservation ,1996, and he showed me creeks that he said were polluted from uranium mining. In 1994 I got arrested, the first time, protesting against nuclear waste being stored on the Mississippi river, at a Dakota reservation. There were native drummer-singers there. I had a wild experience as I held the door open, before the security could get to it - so we all could get into the nuclear utility office. Then in the stairway - suddenly I heard the native singing coming out of me - haha. I think it was from seeing the hawk circling over the drumming-singing in downtown Minneapolis. Also I did now know - not until I googled my dad's name in 2000 - did I discover he had been a lawyer for the same nuclear power company, and he was part of the "win". The state of MN had wanted to regulate the radiation emissions at a "stricter" standard than the federal level. Since my dad had been the assistant attorney general for the state, of course the nuclear utility hired him, along with others. Since nuclear power is basically controlled by the military, of course the utility "won" - and I was just being born. In celebration, of his win, my dad flew us down to Puerto Rico for vacation when I was just 2 months old. haha. Of course - again I had no idea he had been their lawyer, when I got arrested in 1994 and then at another protest - this cop tore my sign out of my hands. I asked my dad to help file a first amendment lawsuit - so he paid the lawyer who got me out of jail - I think it was $150. But then we never heard back from the lawyer - and I had no witnesses. haha. Oh well - so much for the "law."

One of the things about Native Science, Native Thought, is Renewal. In our ceremonies you will find that, most of our ceremonies are about renewal. We sing the same songs, we tell the same stories, we do the same ceremonies, year in, year out. And we never change those stories. O.K.? We've even got to telling the same jokes, you know? But the thing is that renewal has a lot of implications for education. Because in education and the way we've organized our schools, and our universities, is such that "hey we start down here, and we come up in a hierarchical way, and so one." In grade 3 and ask a grade 1 question? You should have known that! That's a Grade 1 thing! You should have known that a long time ago, get with the program! They say. Well, that's what we mean by, I refer to it as, "been there done, did that."

Whereas in Native ways, we always retell our stories. We repeat them. That's how they sink in and become embodied in the students and in the people. But another perspective on renewal is that we as humans live in a very narrow spectrum of ideal conditions. Those ideal conditions have to be there, for us to exist. That's why it's very important about ecology. The relationship. If those ideal conditions are not there, you and I, are not going to last for very long. Just text Neanderthal. Ok? Ask the dinosaurs. What happened to them? We asked, we asked one of our elders: Why did those dinosaurs disappear? He thought about it for awhile and he said, "Maybe they didn't do their ceremonies." OK?

So the thing is, we have to do those things, in other words, try and maintain those factors, those conditions, that make for our existence. And it seems like, we're working towards our own extinction, by changing everything. And that's something we can never understand from a Blackfoot point of view. If God's work is so beautiful, why do we come along and try to change it all? Something that doesn't make sense to us.

But renewal is a very very important thing. And just eliminate something. Stop breathing for 20 minutes. Do you think you'll be alive for very long? I don't think so. In other words, if we change any of those ideal conditions we're not going to be around very long. So the renewal aspect from the Blackfoot perspective, says Hey! If we're going to continue to live, we need to maintain those factors, that make for our existence. Native science is about sustainability. We exist in a very narrow gap, as we mentioned. The Fish, for instance. Nobody's talked about the Fish, in this congress, not that I know of. But the fish have been around, way before the Dinosaurs, way before the Neanderthals, Way before our time, the fish is still around. I wonder what scientific formula the fish has discovered. We should ask the fish. They survived.

Could it be that our left brain metaphysics is increasingly leading us to being "tech schools"....wandering further and further from our original mandate....the pursuit of knowledge. Is that really what we want to be? Blackfoot Metaphysics is waiting in the wings.

This is VERY STRANGE - I was recently "accused" (haha) of being repetitive - and I literally referred to Native cultures and also to the Paddlefish - and in the context of sustainability - and I made fun of "tech" culture. But the problem with quantum physics directly is that it is claimed that despite "Spooky Action at a Distance" being very real (thereby disproving Einstein) - there still can be no "signal" sent that is superluminal (i.e. for quantum teleportation, a classical connection first has to be established). And so Dr. Lanza - his claim that the whole physical universe is just a byproduct of our limited mind, creating an illusion, as it were - goes completely against the empirical truth of the ecological crisis! Notice he promotes a "Biocentric Universe" but not an Ecological Earth? Notice Dr. Lanza was promoted by the CIA-E.T. propaganda nation-wide radioshow (coasttocoastam) - and so Dr. Lanza's view is very similar to a protege of Professor Herbert Bernstein, now in Canada - Lee Smolin who writes on evolution in the Universe or the Freemasonic lawyer - Gardner - his book "The BioCosm Universe" one a science award. So you can see what we are dealing with here is what I exposed as the Actual Matrix Plan - back in 2001 soon after my master's thesis. Little did I know that my wild master's thesis was corroborated by a UN think tank linked to Princeton's Institute for Advanced Study and the Santa Fe Institute, Sandia, Los Alamos, etc. In other words the ecological crisis is seen as a techno-spiritual crisis of "evolution." But this all ignores the basic message of physics professor Albert Bartlett - he gave the same lecture over 1000 times for a very good reason, as I first pointed out: Exponential math destroys ecology. His lecture is, "Arithmetic, Population and Energy" - on youtube in several versions. So the point is that entropy is from logarithmic math and so science believes in randomness as the standard mathematical background of reality - and so humans can "impose" order out of chaos. This is Freemasonry! It is a religion of technology as Professor David F. Noble exposed. Philosophy of science is quite fascinating but no one really cares since the claim is that "math works so well" - then it must be the truth of reality! haha. Actually math professor Luigi Borzacchini (with whom I corresponded several times since 2001) - he points out that Western science is based on a "deep pre-established disharmony" - why? Due to the wrong music theory used to create Western mathematics! And by the way - your interest in Jung - you should probably then get http://peterkingsley.com - Peter Kingsley got his Ph.D. in Pythagorean philosophy but he now has a new book out on Jung. So when Jung collaborated with Pauli - Wolfgang Pauli - on synchroncities. The problem with Schroedinger is that he excluded the critique of relativity that Louis de Broglie had used as the basis for his Law of Phase Harmony. And so de Broglie's protege - who realized that telekinesis, precognition and telepathy are all real - he promoted a model that is now being pursued rigorously in science - called Retrocausality. This is what Richard Feynman also promoted based on John Wheeler - that "IT comes from BIT" due to the Observer Effect. So I corresponded with Dr. Jack Sarfatti for example - who worked with the CIA on remote viewing - and Dr. Sarfatti believes we will have superluminal signal technology based on retrocausality. But the problem again is entropy. Science relies on visual measurements of geometry and so is limited by "time-frequency uncertainty" since time is defined as 2/pi or 2pi - various geometric measurements. So Planck's Constant is actually the "mean average energy" of light based on frequency but de Broglie exposed there is a hidden momentum to light that is not conserved! So the relativistic quantum Law of Phase Harmony means that time is highly asymmetric (as Sir Roger Penrose points out). So the beginning of the Universe means time and frequency were highly synchronized as "order" due to the phase coherence that de Broglie discovered by applying the principle of Pythagoras (time inverse to frequency) to Einstein's relativity (from the perspective of energy defined by frequency not amplitude). So in terms of Dr. Robert Lanza's Biocentric Universe model - the spiritual healers are able to literally go to the beginning of the Universe and Ramana Maharshi did insist that the whole Universe - the trillions of light years, etc. - is all an illusion and instead only formless awareness is real (just as what we experience in deep dreamless sleep - our Ego as mind vanishes and yet something remains as formless awareness!). Ramana Maharshi says that in samadhi - the light is so bright as awareness that it blinds our ego - our ego melts into the light - and yet because meditation is based on silence as logical inference, then we can "synchronize" our mind to go beyond our physical body. For Ramana Maharshi AND for the San Bushmen - in their deep trance healing state, even their physical heart stops!! How is this possible? Chunyi Lin also reported he went 2 hours with his heart stopped and yet he was walking around just fine! How? Because the relativistic quantum ether is the 5th dimension, as Nobel physicist Gerard 't Hooft points out - we exist within micro black holes that are constantly fusing with the "white hole" as our 4D spacetime. So by resonating our mind - our mind is actually synchronized biophotons and light itself does not experience spacetime. So this means, as astronomy professors point out - STrominger, for example, that the future has ALREADY occurred in terms of 4D spacetime - and as Turok (astronomy professor) points out - the WHOLE universe can reverse in spacetime, and collapse back into the big bang singularity, without experiencing any "trauma" so to speak. Why? Because light does not experience the reverse of spacetime - since light also does not experience distance. In other words the speed of light is created by the 5th dimension as this nonlocal information signal from the future - that de Broglie called the "pilot wave" that secretly guides reality. So if the mind is "turned around" as pure light - then there is a new CAUSATIVE energy that has been discovered called the "hidden momentum" of light that is not conserved. Tesla also discovered this "ether" - that he called a longitudinal sound wave. It's actually "spin" as the intrinsic angular momentum of light, (instead of the orbital momentum). So when you have two light "particles" - the phase shift between blue and red as relativistic spacetime - is the mass. Light has zero rest mass but light DOES have relativistic mass as momentum of time-frequency energy from the future! So because of noncommutative spacetime (as an eternal 5D phase shift) - then light creates matter with mass. The spiritual healers call this secret the "Golden Key" as a superluminal signal that has energy, as a "virtual information field" - the antimatter that creates matter. So it's not just that the mind is turned around as light, but rather there is an inherent bio-energy that even the Chinese government realized, could only by modeled by combining relativity and quantum physics. So linguistics is realizing that in fact the earliest language is the most musical and the emotional intonation of music is actually more definitive than our visual sense. The music is the language of our subconscious and can be made into our "superconsciousness" through internal listening. With our eyes closed - we can listen faster than the speed of light - because our inner ear hears at the sub-angstrom level (smaller than the wavelength of light). So we can resonate directly with relativistic quantum energy-information as the ether. CIA mind control scientist Dr. Andrija Puharich realized this secret when he developed mind control implants - based on activating the inner ear vagus nerve. So he called it the Hydron-Phonon Effect - the neurotransmitters have their hydrogen bond resonated via the ELF subharmonic of the ultrasound wavelength. I always thought Mercury was yin qi - but now we know it is Yuan Shen originally.

OK so Taoist Yoga states when the Heart is Unstirred then Yuan Qi changes into Yuan Shen.... but when it IS stirred - then LOGICALLY - the Yuan Shen is what changes the Yuan Qi into .....

When breathing out, the heart, spirit and thought should 
together go down from the brain at the cardinal point G 
to the intermediate points H and I before reaching J where 
they pause a little for purification, and thence to A; this 
involves six negative phases of descent in the channel of 
function (jen mo) to return vitality to the source and is 
called the descent of negative fire. 

 SO - this actually means "to return LEAD to the source" - as the descent of Mercury (saliva). So now we have the tiger in the dragon (whereas semen-mercury is the dragon in the tiger).

Prenatal vitality is pro¬ 
duced and stored up by this (breathing) process while 
(fire in) the heart and (water in the) lower abdomen mingle.

 Yuan Qi - Mercury and Lead, Dragon and Tiger  - "mingle"

the generative force which is automatically transmuted 
into vitality (which circulates up and down).

The method should begin when the 
penis erects at night and consists of blocking the genital 
gate with pointed concentration in order to drive spirit 
into the cavity of vitality (under the navel). This is like a 
blacksmith using his bellows; the air from it blows the inner 
fire which, becoming intense, transmutes the generative 
force into vitality. The latter is then gathered and sent up 
and down in the microcosmic orbit. 

Circulating the fire, gathering it, 
lifting it, fire in the house of water, negative fire, fire immersed in 
water, and fire in the stove, they all mean fire derived from pre¬ 
natal vitality. 

OK so that "negative fire" is not the shen but again the "tiger in the dragon" - the saliva with the yuan qi - the yang in the yin.

Hence 
after the basic vitality has been absorbed in the abdomen, 

Fire derived from spirit transforms the generative 
force into vitality.

 So the Yuan Shen is the origin of the whole process - in terms of conscious alchemy.

Fire derived from (prenatal) vitality 
purifies breathing and contributes to the manifestation of 
spirit....This positive fire can transmute the agent in the stove into 
vitality (in order to stop its overflow).

Hence the meaning of:

 True Lead functions in fire, turning black to red

This is relativistic quantum physics! The hidden momentum of light is the yuan qi as the Emptiness.

‘Prenatal One Vitality comes from nothing¬ 
ness.’ 

 So this is the Yuan Shen - that crystallizes the jing into Yuan qi.

freezing, driving and 
lowering the fire, shifting fire, calming fire, fire in its own 
house and the heart’s fire, come from spirit and can trans¬ 
mute the generative force into vitality. This spirit’s fire 
derives from the spiritual power in the eyes

 So the alchemical bellows IS the lower tan-t'ien.

Fire in the house of water stands for vitality in vibration 
which then forms a (kind of) bellows (extending)

When fire is immersed in water, it will stop soaring up 
thereby causing the heart to be empty (i.e. not to stir); and 
as water is scorched by fire, it will stop flowing down. 
This is water and fire in stable equilibrium (shui huo chi 
chi) which will in time produce vitality.

 So dragon in the tiger and tiger in the dragon.

When the light of this body joins and 
mingles with the golden light (in front of you) you will 
realise your essential body which will then enter your 
physical body; the latter will absorb that spiritual body 
and in three years’ time will be sublimated into pure vitality.

Thereby confirming the final end result is Yuan Qi.

This is the manifestation of positive spirit (yang shen) 
which will take form when it gathers in one place or will 
become pure vitality when it scatters to fill the great empti¬ 
ness which will be its boundless body.

And so to crystallize the generative force (Dragon/Tiger) yang qi and yin qi - into Yuan Qi - the Yuan Shen has to be rotated via the eyes - right (ascent of qi as Sun - Yuan Shen - Yin Qi - Dragon in the Tiger) and left (descent of qi as Moon (yin shen - yang qi - Tiger in the Dragon)

If the (microcosmic) outer alchemical agent is left intact in the stove (under the navel) 
it cannot be transformed into vitality by fire; you will then 
find it hard to restore your original (prenatal) body which 
cannot leak and is most precious.

AKA Transmute 

the heart’s fire, come from spirit and can trans¬ 
mute the generative force into vitality. This spirit’s fire 
derives from the spiritual power in the eyes

look into 
the lower tan t’ien centre (under the navel) so that the ele¬ 
ment of fire in the eyes which are above scorches that of 
water in the belly which is below, to produce positive vitality 
whose light manifests in front of him.

So this is the secret of Chapter 6 - that I did not achieve back in 2000 - the rotating of the eyes as the mixing of the dragon and tiger SHEN - yang shen and yin shen into yuan shen - and yuan qi....

 the practiser will fail to 
transmute the generative force into vitality if he does not 
raise the positive fire and lower its negative counterpart; 
and that he will not be able to stop the drain of the elixir 
at night.

 and so the rotating of the eyes is key - to the "lower" the qi back down with the shen.

rolling them from left to right 
nine times to vibrate the (positive) vitality in that centre 
(between and behind the eyes) so that it drops to the 
cavity of (eternal) life (under the navel) already full of 
(negative) vitality so that both vitalities unite to thrust open 
the original cavity of spirit (tsu ch’iao in the centre of the 
brain).

True nature is prenatal vitality in its cell (ch’i pao) on 
the top of the medulla oblongata. If vitality is allowed 
to pass through the back of the head and down to the base 
of the spine to drain away through the anus and genital 
organ, its exhaustion will cause death.

In nocturnal emissions the generative fluid carries with it 
(some) vitality which thus leaves its vibrating cell in the 
centre of the brain to pass into the spine and then reach its 
base to drain away.

 And so the Sun and Moon are the yang shen and yin shen...

To hold on to the centre to realise the oneness of heaven and 
earth is achieved only by uniting the sun and the moon. 
The sun stands for the heart and the moon for the lower 
tan t’ien cavity (under the navel), respectively symbolised 
by the dragon (the female or negative vitality) and the 
tiger (the male or positive vitality). 

But when the Yuan Qi returns to the Sun (Red Dragon) - then the Yuan Shen manifests...

The dragon (negative vitality ) and the tiger (positive 
vitality) ‘ copulating ’ in the alchemical cauldron in the brain to realise 
the oneness of heaven and earth.

When prenatal original vitality is realised the light of generative 
force, vitality and spirit soars up and manifests in front of 
the original cavity of spirit (tsu ch’iao between and behind 
the eyes).

So the light that opens the third eye actually ORIGINATES from the middle tan-t'ien - as the central channel.

He who does not know the potency of the original cavity 
of spirit [the third eye] cannot produce basic vitality.

he will see the light of true vitality appearing 
(between his eyes) in front of his original cavity of spirit 
which will then hold it to prevent it from running away; 
and the longer it is held the brighter it will be. When it 
becomes stable, it reveals the successful union of the dragon 
and tiger (i.e. the female and male vital breaths).

After rolling his eyes, he should close them and as his 
mouth is now full of golden nectar, he should make pointed 
concentration on the vitality which he has just circulated 
(as above), driving it down (the jen mo or channel of func¬ 
tion), followed by the golden nectar, into the cavity of 
vitality (below the navel). This is returning vitality to the 
cauldron to seal it there. 

sublimate nature-vitality which is negative 
and life-vitality which is positive, unite both into one true 
seed and transform the latter into golden nectar which then 
goes down, but is not the saliva in the mouth. If the nostrils 
are not shut with a clothes-peg this nectar will drain away 
by it. 

From the original cavity of spirit (between and behind 
the eyes) this golden nectar will pass through the hsuan 
ying cavity (above the mouth) to flow into the throat. 
When it goes down into the windpipe, if the practiser has 
not received instruction from a competent master, he will 
simply cough it up. Is it not a pity then that all previous 
progress is thus thrown away? 

It is not easy to produce the true seed from the 
golden nectar. This seed will grow in the cavity of vitality 
(under the navel) into a yellow stem which will blossom 

and bear fruit. Its flower is the light of vitality which 
manifests in front of the practiser. This flower has both 
stamen and pistil which will unite to form a fruit.

Its 
pistil is the light of vitality that comes from nature-vitality

yin qi - Dragon/Mercury.

from which the positive spirit 
will manifest. The brain will then be like a pond full of 
golden nectar with silvery ripples.

Mercury=silver.
The position of Kun is the furnace.371 Inside the cauldron is the yin of aqueous silver, which is to say the fire dragon-innate disposition root.

This centre (under the navel) has outer and 
inner cells; the outer cell is the source of the positive and 
negative principles [yang and yin qi], which is the abode of (vital) breath, 
the spring of foetal breathing and the mechanism of in 
and out breathing; the inner is where the Tao foetus is 
created and the (vital) breath stays, and is the home of 
serenity. When the (inner) vital breath moving up and down 
in the body, does not go up beyond the heart or down 
beyond the lower abdomen, it becomes the real (or stabi¬ 
lised vital) breath which will in time enter this cavity 
(under the navel to stay there) causing the sudden mani¬ 
festation of true serenity. 

prenatal vitality which is bound to 
disperse if it is not kept in cold storage in the lower tan 
t’ien cavity (under the navel).

 So the driving of the Shen is accompanied by the swallowing of the Golden Nectar - hence the "loud noise"!!

T his method of cold storage consists of driving the light 
of prenatal positive spirit from its original cavity (tsu ch’iao 
between and behind the eyes) down into the lower abdomen 
with a loud noise which confirms that the bottom of that 
centre is reached.

After the golden nectar has been swallowed with a gulp 
that echoes loudly in the belly,

In that 
case you should practise the ascent of positive and descent 
of negative fire in order to transmute vitality into spirit 
until the light of (essential) nature manifests in front of 
you; only then can you lay the foundation of immortality.

Fascinating - so the light manifests but the Yuan Qi has to be "swallowed" back down - to Drive the light...

read Chapter 7 which teaches the return of 
spirit to nothingness; only then can you avoid the risk of 
spirit returning to the state of vitality.

hmmm....

Oh so the Golden Light is GATHERED from the third eye and SWALLOWED back down as the golden nectar.... (only after the "light of Nature" manifests - the Mercury light).

you can gather the light as expounded in Chapter 7 
and drive it into your lower abdomen by concentrating on 
the lower tan t’ien cavity there

Exactly.

When so regulating the postnatal (vital) breath the 
practiser should concentrate on the cavity of vitality (the 
lower tan t’ien under the navel) in order to transmute pre¬ 
natal vitality into a bright pearl.

When (essential) nature and (eternal) life unite in the 
confused state in the cavity of vitality (under the navel) the 
least carelessness on the part of the practiser may cause his 
failure to keep them together there; spirit will then leave this 
centre and the most precious thing will drain away at night. 
This is the most critical moment when he will either preserve 
or injure (eternal) life.

As time 
passes his spirit becomes stronger and he will even forget 
about sleeping; his vitality will be full and cause him to for¬ 
get about eating; his generative force will be full freeing 
him from all sexual desires and causing his body to be strong 
and light; his heart will be pure and spiritual; his vitality 
will be genuine; his spirit will be perfect and divine; thus 
he will enter upon the path of immortality. This resting 
breath is far more advanced than the foetal breath. 

lift the vital breath by turning your eyes up from the lower 
left, and when you breathe out you lower the vital breath 
by turning your eyes down from the upper right. You 
should realise that, since the heart is linked with the two 
eyes, this exercise in four phases of nine complete turns each 
causes vitality in the heart to restrain vitality in the tiger 
cavity while you look up to turn the eyes, and to shut the 
genital duct while you look up to lift the vital breath.

The above stanzas deal with the generative force, vitality 
and spirit which, after being sublimated, gather in the 
brain where, under constant pressure from prenatal vitality 
and spirit, they will in time produce ambrosia (kan lu). The 
latter flowing into the mouth becomes a liquid (saliva) 
which, when swallowed, makes ‘sounds’ in the abdomen.

If vitality is used to 
nurture the generative force the latter, when full, will 
produce the immortal seed. 

So again - swallowing the Golden Nectar! This is the 49 day cave meditation:

Then a white light appears constantly 
in front of him and his body cannot be found anywhere. 

The practiser should train until he achieves stillness and 
radiance of his spirit which, when full, will make him forget 
about sleeping. When his vitality is fully developed and 
enables him to dispense with eating, he reaches the stage 
of constant stillness and radiance in which breathing 
(appears to) cease and a massive golden light manifests 
while all discriminations stop arising, prior to his realisation 
of perfect serenity. This achievement is revealed by the 
moonlight appearing in the forehead which will remain 
constantly there if he is firmly determined to hold on to the

original cavity of spirit (between and behind the eyes) 
while sparks appear between the eyebrows; both manifesta¬ 
tions announce the full growth of the immortal seed. 

Henceforth the practiser should guard against the drain 
of vitality in order to hold it in the body for nurturing and 
developing the immortal seed.

This real generative force is the true seed 
in the human body. Since it is indistinct, it is called t’ai chi 
(the supreme ultimate) and since it is the beginning of 
creativity, it is called prenatal (hsien t’ien). Since it is the 
undivided yin-yang (the union of the negative and the posi¬ 
tive) it is called the One vitality. It is also called the yellow 
bud (huang ya), the mysterious pearl (hsuan chu) and posi¬ 
tive generative force (yang ching).

If the centres at F (Jade Pool, back lower skull) and G (third eye) 

are not linked the turning 
of the eyes will join them up. If the centres at L (ocean of qi, prostate) 

and A (perineum-gate of mortality) are 
not linked the process of sublimating vitality at D and J 
will join them up. 

Extracting Lead to Replenish Mercury as "Mercury Dragon Yang"

The whole purpose of extracting the Lead is to use it to replenish the Mercury. If you do not replenish the mercury then you will not be able to direct the generative fluid to return to the head. If the generative fluid does not return to the head, then how can the true vapor be born? ...

If you do not extract the lead, you will not be able to refine the mercury and repair the tan-t'ien.  If the tan-t'ien is not repaired, how can the mercury be crystallized into cinnabar grains?

This kind of extracting and replenishing does not occur outside the body. Rather it involves moving something from the lower tan-t'ien to the upper tan-t'ien.

After lead is extracted, mercury will descend from the middle tan-t'ien to the lower tan-t'ien. If you can get the dragon and tiger to copulate at this time, then the two will be transformed into the Yellow Sprouts.

After three hundred days the immortal infant will be mature and the true vapor will be born.

In the beginning you must you lead to obtain mercury...Once the lead is directed to the upper palace, then the generative fluid will enter the head.

AFter ten months ....the body will radiate a white light.

When dragon and tiger copulate in the Yellow Chamber then lead and mercury are separated....

 When yin is brought into Li then yang is born. This is the work of the waterwheel. It is the vehicle that carries the yin [saliva] into the Palace of Yang [heart-spirit-fire]....it carries the yang into the Palace of the Yin [lower tan t'ien].

If the medicine is about to whither, you should use the wheel to direct the vapor of the saliva to moisten it.

Liquid silver cooks into metal vitality.
True Mercury comes from fire.
True Mercury functions in the water.
True Lead arises from water.

In my pdf, I quote from this book, that in actuality is a compilation of 3 Daoist neidan books (pdf link).

So when I quote in my pdf:

"Yang dragon that hides in the fluid" -
Dragon is Mercury - so this is Semen-Mercury.

The yang dragon and yin tiger go up the spine separately, as I quote this book in my pdf, but then merge in the brain. So we can take this as cerebrospinal fluid (semen) and blood - going up separately - and then the pineal gland turns blood into increased cerebrospinal fluid, thereby merging the two hidden qi energies (yin and yang).



So that's what I quote in my pdf - but this is just the translator's Intro! So hopefully we'll get more details.

So she says - the energy when built up causes the belly to look like a pregnant women! Well we know this can not mean just looking fat and bloated. We know from the Female Magnetic Qi video - the teachers of John Tsai - actually show their qi sticking out of the belly and moving their qi around. It is described as hard like a basketball - that kind of pressure and force in the belly.

So then she says, the move fire is applied, then the faster the results, alchemically, with the shen leaving the body to go into the Emptiness, after one year of training. Breath is used to fan the fire.

The Warrior Fire (Quick Fire) is used to drive the Microcosmic Orbit or Small Universe meditation as alchemy.




So now we look at what "IS" the Vapor. Eva Wong tells us not to try to determine what the vapor is, yet she indicates it is tied to generative force of the fluid.

I quoted Pregadio's translation stating the elixir is the precelestial qi itself. Wong's translation contrasts vapor to blood. The vapor creates the blood. But if we swallow the saliva with the vapor in it - and cerebrospinal fluid does create blood since CSF also creates bone marrow...

So "vapor of pure yin" is yin qi - the yin shen is a ghost with yin qi.
"vapor of pure yang" is yang qi - as an immortal - so the yang qi has "substance."

So "fluid of the lungs enter the heart" - that is blood.
Vapors appears to be neurohormones with qi in it.
So that blood can ALSO have vapor in it - as neurohormones.
I cite this in the qigong science study - the serotonin is transferred from the blood into the cerebrospinal fluid, from qigong training.

The left kidney blood carries the vapor of the lungs and descends.
The right kidney blood (fluid) carries the vapor of the liver and descends ALSO.
Fluid of the liver enters the kidney and turns into blood.....
So is fluid "Not" blood afterall?

Vapor is Ch'i but again it can have "substance" as well.

So then the text says ghosts are confused until they follow the light of spirit and enter into a womb, thereby turning from yin back into yang, transformed by vapor (ch'i).
The vapor qi then separates into the two kidneys.

With no thoughts then the yang qi emerges and, driven by the wind (breathing), rises to the brain.
There at the top of the brain the yang qi interacts with yin qi...
Then descend as saliva, sweet tasting.
And so the generative energy is transmuted into qi.

Within generative energy is qi and blood.
Within blood is generative "essence" (jing).

O.K. - fascinating. p. 59

Generative energy and qi interact through breathing.

So that again implies hormones, blood and qi.

To shed the shell, you must swallow the vapor into the belly.

 So the vapor is in the saliva and also the cerebrospinal fluid - and semen.... as the yang qi with substance.

When fire is ignited vapor will surge up and then it swallowed as saliva.

Collect the true vapor from the blood.
Then collect the true generative energy from the vapor.

Blood and vapor are united at the top of the head and transmuted into fluid.

O.K. so that is clear - the pineal gland converts blood into cerebrospinal fluid.

qi in the blood is Mercury as Dragon - but tiger is the cerebrospinal fluid (also semen and saliva) that has generative energy in it (qi as Lead).

So once again the neurohormones are transferred from the blood to the cerebrospinal fluid.
So it actually makes sense!!

Blood and vapor will become white blood and the true generative energy and true vapor will merge to become the pill.

p. 63

So here we have confirmation - finally - white blood has to be the cerebrospinal fluid with the neurohormones from the blood transferred into it.

So George Crane's book Bones of MY Master has the Ch'an Master stating that the alchemical pill is a mixture of blood and cerebrospinal fluid.... (or was it semen?).... Anyway this corroborates that wild claim.

When the vapor emerges, you must block the leakage.

So again the vapor is the semen (cerebrospinal fluid, saliva) and the fluid is the blood.

This is what I had supposed before but was not sure. The vapor, of course, is ALSO the qi on its own.



So once again - "do not let it leak out" - and yet then it descends as saliva!!

The true generative energy will return to its vapor form to nourish your body.

If the vapor wants to move, it will penetrate the Tailbone cavity and come out as a liquid with a golden tint.

Transformed into generative essence, the bone marrow becomes the primal root of the body, penetrating the tendons and meridians.

Sacred water moistens the true vapor (yuan qi) and sacred water gives birth to the kidneys, this is why sacred water is called the primal root of the true vapor.

At midnight, sit still with no thoughts, draw the vapor from the Celestial Palace and let it swirl downward into the meridians, with time the generative fluid will be plentiful.

Wood (liver) is the child of water (kidney). The Green Dragon is the vapor (qi) of wood. Within the Green Dragon is the one primordial vapor [yuan qi].

Qi of metal flows through water. White tiger is the qi of metal. Within White Tiger is the one primordial vapor [yuan qi].

Green Dragon [liver qi] directs the movement of Fire by slowing the vapor.
White tiger [lung qi] strengthens the qi and directs the movement of water.
