The heart is called Yi [unified power] becuz when intent moves, spirit is agitated; qi is dispersed. Qi is the Mother of spirit; Spirit is the child of qi. I've been experimenting this summer with all "natural" Shiitake based on just the rain.
The result is when I do get Shiitake - the fruit (mushrooms) are much bigger and more beautiful but the overall number is much much much less. In fact if anything it proves I truly run a forest FARM and not just some willy-nilly wild grown operation.
Luckily I harvested this batch before the next rain - since it probably would have caused the drying Shiitake to start to oxidize from being wet.
The big rain we got was 2 and a third inches but that was about 10 days ago!! So these Shiitake dried naturally with lots of Vitamin D from the sun - yet there's no browning from oxidizing.
So I got lucky with this harvest. My other "natural" harvests were all a bit over-cured so to speak. One was too late to be edible. So this is my fifth harvest from the rain this year?
I have a farm membership lined up for next year and demand for this year but as I explained - I missed the Spring run off "flood lands" whereby I can just bucket up the water for my stock tanks. Otherwise my hand dug water hole right now only operates with a small jug. After the trees drink up the surface water then the land water is from the swamp methane muck. haha. No thanks!!
To distinguish between aronia and buckthorn, you may need to examine the plant. Look at the leaf arrangement –aronia leaves are always in alternate arrangement (never paired), whereas buckthorn leaves are essentially opposite.
Wow I just planted four of these bushes - with my nephew's help - new Aronia berry bushes!! They are native and can spread wild - and the berries are extremely medicinal. I used to juice them. Europeans traditionally did not like them since the berries are too bitter or astringent - but you just mix in honey!

There are three species that we know of so far, all native to North America:
Black chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa) is a small to medium-sized shrub with dark purple-black fruit.
Red chokeberry (Aronia arbutifolia) is a large shrub with red fruit.
Purple chokeberry (Aronia prunifolia) is a natural hybrid of red and black chokeberry.

Black chokeberries have a higher content of phenolic constituents than
most other black berries, including anthocyanins, proanthocyanidins, and
phenolic acids.8 These constituents are thought to be
responsible for positive outcomes in the few pilot studies that have
been conducted on chokeberries. One in vitro trial on porcine coronary
artery rings compared chokeberry, bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus, Ericaceae), and elderberry (Sambucus nigra,
Adoxaceae) to examine their potential vasoactive and vasoprotective
properties in coronary arteries. The anthocyanin-rich extract from
chokeberry (Artemis International, Ft. Wayne, IN) and bilberry (Artemis
International), but not elderberry, “produced dose-dependent relaxation
of coronary arteries, with the chokeberry extracts exhibiting the
highest potency.”21
On July 13, 2022, the District Court of Haizhu District, one of the urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Guangzhou. Guangdong province, sentenced a woman called Zhang Chunhe to four years of detention for “using a xie jiao to undermine the implementation of the law.” This is a standard formula derived from Article 300
of the Chinese Criminal Code indicating that a defendant is active, in
any capacity, in one of the banned religious movements listed as “xie jiao,” or groups spreading “heterodox teachings.”
Zhang is a practitioner of Falun Gong and these decisions are part of a regular routine. What is less common about Zhang is her resilience, and the CCP’s symmetric persistence in persecuting her.
Zhang was born in 1959 in Guangzhou. She became an accountant and
worked at Zengcheng Plastic Bag Factory before becoming Chief Financial
Officer of Zengcheng Wuxie Company. She was a model employee, as
attested by her rapid career, but in the eyes of the CCP she had a problem. In 1994, she had become a practitioner of Falun Gong.
In 1999, when the persecution of Falun Gong
started in China, the authorities falsely claimed that she was a drug
addict. She was taken to a drug rehabilitation center, where she was
indoctrinated with the aim of persuading her to abandon Falun Gong.
After her release, she continued practicing Falun Gong,
and in 2002 was arrested again and sentenced to one year of
“reeducation through labor” in a labor camp in Guangzhou. She was not
reeducated, however. She returned to her work and quietly practiced Falun Gong,
In
2008, she was arrested in the purge prior to the Beijing Olympics, and
in 2009 was sentenced to three years of prison by the Zengcheng District
Court and to “legal education,” despite the fact that she suffered form
a large fibroid tumor. After her release she reported that she had been
tortured, systematically deprived of sleep for 150 days and kept
handcuffed and shackled in a dark room during the days. Her husband was
also persuaded by the CCP to divorce her.
She returned home and started again practicing Falun Gong.
Although she kept a low profile, on April 10, 2021, she was arrested
again. On May 17, 2021, her arrest was formalized, and on August 1 she
was committed to trial. Now, she has been sentenced to another four
years.
While her resilience is admirable, it should be noted that
Zhang has never been accused of any crime other than believing in and
practicing Falun Gong. This proves, once again, that all kind of active involvement in a group labeled as “xie jiao” is enough for Chinese courts to conclude that the defendant “used a xie jiao to undermine the implementation of the law.”

A 40% decrease in sulfur pollution heats up Earth another 1 degree. There's 240 Zetta Joules of heat in the ocean that soon will be released.
Yarchen Gar used to be the largest monastery in the world. It is located in the Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, part of historical Tibet now incorporated into the Chinese province
of Sichuan. Most of the Yarchen Gar residents are Tibetan Buddhist
nuns, and the huge monastery was nicknamed the “City of Nuns.” At one
stage, some 10,000 nuns lived there.
Until a few years ago, the CCP kept the nuns under surveillance but also welcomed tourists to the Yarchen Gar, using it to argue that Tibetan Buddhists
enjoyed religious freedom. In fact, when the authorities felt the
monastery was growing too much, parts of it were demolished, since the
beginning of the 21st century.
It was however under Xi Jinping that the feeling that the Yarchen Gar was a threat to the CCP
prevailed, and massive demolitions were carried out in 2017 and 2019,
which generated widespread international protests. Thousands of nuns
were sent to camps for “reeducation.”
At the same time, the CCP
played a complicated game around Yarchen Gar tourism. Periodically,
access of tourists was closed to allow for demolition and deportation of
the nuns. At the same time, areas of the monastic complex have been
subject to a process of touristification. There are those in the CCP
that would like to see the Yarchen Gar go the way of countless other
religious monuments that have been converted into tourist attraction and
“Disneyfied,” perhaps leaving there a few pro-CCP nuns whom tourists can photograph.
Recently, however, the CCP has been confronted with a new problem at Yarchen Gar. CCP-imposed quotas in the Tibet Autonomous Region
(TAR) limit the number of novices who can be admitted into Buddhist
monasteries. There are more girls who want to become nuns than places
available. COVID and intensified border surveillance now limit the
possibility for these girls to go to India or Nepal and become novices
in monasteries there.
The only alternative for them is to seek a
monastery in China but outside the TAR. Notwithstanding the demolitions,
the Yarchen Gar is still a large monastery and a prestigious
possibility. This explains why hundreds of TAR Buddhist girls went to
the Yarchen Gar in Sichuan, hoping to become nuns there.
The CCP,
however, sees this as an escamotage to evade the consequences of the
regulations limiting the number of Buddhist nuns in Tibet. In the last
few weeks, the Yarchen Gar has been strictly closed to tourists again,
and the novices from the TAR have been put on buses and deported back to
the TAR. Not to home, though. They are in “transformation through education camps,” to be reeducated and learn that you cannot escape the long arm of the CCP.

The "appears random" or "seemingly random" claim by Penrose is actually based on Penrose now relying on noncommutativity. I'm glad Professor Emeritus Stuart Hameroff emphasized this distinction. If you study Fields Medal Math Professor Alain Connes he explains that the noncommutative appears random since we can only observe it "after the fact" but in actuality the inner cross products of the noncommutative matrices are discrete natural numbers. Connes most easily models these inner cross products by using music theory as what he calls, "two, three, infinity." You might note that this is the same as the "three gunas" of ancient India from music theory with Rajas as the Perfect Fifth or 3/2. So there is a noncommutative music inversion since both 2/3 and 3/2 is the Perfect Fifth but in one case the geometry is C to F as an undertone and the other case is C to G as an overtone. This is emphasized in traditional Indian music tuning. For example if you have a drone with a perfect Fourth the higher interval is actually heard as the root tonic since it does not form a natural overtone to the lower note. This is glossed over in Western music tuning in order to create the symmetric commutative geometry math of irrational numbers. Equal-tempered tuning is the secret origin of irrational numbers as promoted by Plato but he got it from Archtyas and Philolaus. So the Dao is also the same as the "three gunas" with the Yang as the Perfect Fifth. The Single Perfect Yang then relies on the doubling of the 2/3 as the quantum undertone to the Yin as 4/3 or Perfect Fouth (the tamas in Indian Yoga).
