ANHAD SABAD
Anhad means continuous or nonstop. Sabad in Gurbani means the utterance of God. So Anhad Sabad means Divine Utterance which is still going on in the universe. It is not an utterance in the physical world where sound is produced by striking two material parts which dies as the energy that produced it is used up fighting the resistance of the media in which it travels. Anhad Sabad started in sunn, the materially void infinite space and is still going in sunn which encloses the whole universe: "Antar sunnun bahar sunnum tribhavan sunmusnum" p-943. It is this Sabad that created the universe:"Ek kwaa-ay te sab hoaa” p-1002" and it is with this Sabad that it is destroyed and created again:
"Utpat parlo sabday hovay. Sabday he phir opat hao-vay" p-117.
God is fully expressed in Anhad Sabad and it is also called Naam in Gurbani. Naam carries in it Divine Hukam/ Will, Divine Plan of creation, preservation and destruction, Divine Intelligence/ Wisdom/ Consciousness, Divine Laws and everything what God is. It created everything and is in everything:
"Jeta keeta teta Naaon. Vin Naavain naheen ko thaaon” p-4.
Naam or Anhad Sabad stays in every creation of God as Soul. So God extends into us as Sabad or Naam. Guru Nanak calls this Sabad as His Guru: “Sabad Guru surat dhun chela” p-943.
It is to this Sabad, Gurbani is advising us to connect to hear our Creator or Father and it is with this Sabad that we link with Naam which cleans our mind and we can connect with God Himself. Without this Sabad everybody is in spiritual darkness and Sabad enlightens the mind:
"Jeean andar jeeo Sabad hai jit Sauh milaava ho-ay.
Bin Sabday jag anher hai Sabdey pargat ho-ay." p-1250
This Sabad can be heard by taking our consciousness inside where it resides. The only way to do it is to silence our mind form its thoughts of the physical world or Maya. Naam Jpana is means to do that. This is done by cyclic utterance of Gurmantar and listen to it attentively till our surti is lost into the chant of it and we disconnect from our thoughts and land into sunn or mentally quiet state where Naam or Sabad reside. Even a short experience in that state is very relaxing and peaceful. If practiced in the company of experienced practitioners one will soon start hearing the Anhad Sabad in your ears (can be mistaken for tinnitus problem). The sounds generally heard are: ringing of bells, flute, chirping of birds in the morning, sounds of crickets in nature in the evening, rebab, sitar, drums, your own heart beat etc.
When these sounds are heard in sunn state it is direct link to Sabad or Naam. It is then that our mind start getting cleansed up of dirt of Maya and getting closer to higher spiritual stages. We are advised to hear these Sabads:
"Mun dhovo Sabad laago Har sio raho chit laa-ay." p-919
As the mind gets further cleansing by regular Japna, it will start hearing Sehaj Dhun- a high frequency sharp low volume note which goes on all the time. This happens when mind reaches third sunn or dasam duaar or doorway to enter divine mansion. At that point all other nine doors of the body are closed and the tenth one is reached where Anhad Sabad goes on day and night and is heard by following the Guru's advise:
"Nau dar thaakay dhavat raha-ay. Dasvain nij ghar vaasa paa-ay.
Othay Anhad Sabad vajay din raatee. Gurrnatee Sabad sunaavania." p-124
When time comes for union with God Anhad Sabad changes to Toor (sound of long horn played outside Gurdwaras and temples) "Binvant Nanak Gur charan laagay vaajay Anhad Tooray"p-917, followed by Naad, a loud low frequency humming sound before you are let into Sach Ghar or Divine Mansion: "Anahad Banee Naad vjaaia p-375". When mind makes entry into Sach Ghar, Anhad Sabad changes to Panch Shabad which welcomes the child of God to His House; who is the Emperor of the entire universe:
"Vaajay panch Shabad tit ghar subhaagay" p-917.
Mind then is fully awakened to its spiritual self by the Sabad.
"Dhun upjee Sabad jgaaia." p-1039
Free from bondage of Maya, mind sees nothing but Parkaash or Divine Light/ Jot and finally meets Beloved Lord:
"Pargati Jot milay Ram Piaray." p-375
Even Gurbani reaches the Gurus through Sabads. They translate the meaning of Sabad into local language for people to understand it and practice on it. God's language is not Punjabi but Sabads the meaning of which only the Gurmukhs understand it:
"Sabde upjay amrit bani Gurmukh aakh vkhaavania:"
iscourse given by Sant Baba Isher Singh (Rare Wale) where his instructions were as follows with regards to the Anhad Shabad:
Sit in a secluded place and for 2.5 hours, closing eyes and keeping back straight at 90 degrees.
Keep on listening to the sound ringing in both ears and be intoxicated with it. One should hear this sound for 8-10 days.
After that one should direct one's consciousness to on the right ear. An extremely fine and sweet sound sound will begin to be heard from the right ear.
After about 10 days one should withdraw one's consciousness and cease to hear the sounds, ringing in the two ears.
After some effort one would be able to hear a sound from the Agya-chakkar (at the root of the two eyes and the nose). It is the same sound that one used to hear from the right ear.
After concentrating on the Agya chakkar, one should keep on hearing this music for 1 month or 2 and recognize it as the symbol of the Formless God.
Then one should uplift ones consciousness and listen to the music from the point where the ey-brows begin. After practicing for 2-3
months with full concentration one should raise the consciousness to up to the head, to the point where 4 parts of the oranium join which is called the palate. This point is also called the tenth gate.
After practicing this for 3 months one should hear the music from the back of the head, at the point where the backbone (spine) touches the Sukhmana Nadi. One should practice here for 5-6 months.
After this when the seeker becomes full adept, he should concentrate his consciousness on the tip of the nose. At his point he would see strange supra-worldy sights and one acquires carious kinds of power. This practice will take some two years. But there is a supreme need to keep watch on the instructions ordained here. Eager enthusiasm is required beyond limit. Under these activities, one would see different kinds of lights, strange sights of secret worlds and hear strange musical strains.

that is the pdf link to the book that Wilber edited.
Yes I compiled 77 different quotes from physicists discussing Louis de Broglie's "Law of Phase Harmony" which he considered his most important discovery.
http://ecoechoinvasives.blogspot.com/2018/01/summarizing-de-broglie-pilot-wave-law.html
I have blog posts on Eddie Oshins also - I did posts here as well.
So the student of de Broglie, the physicist Olivier Costa de Beauregard - I quote him on my blog - he believed in precognition, telepathy, telekinesis, etc. as being inherent to relativistic quantum physics. The thing about Schroedinger is that he removed the relativity part in order to derive his "wave function."
Anyway as for my "path of no path" - actually it's based on music theory. I studied music from a young age, including with a former University music professor. So the suddenly I realized that Pythagoras was correct. But as I studied this more I then realized that Daoism is also based on the same music harmonics as Pythagorean philosophy - and yet what the West is "taught" as Pythagorean is actually NOT at all - rather that's the "cover up" of real Pythagorean philosophy! So people learn Platonic philosophy and think it is Pythagorean.
So in terms of being too intellectual - the problem with Wilber is he is racist and thinks of the West as some kind of spiritual evolution - and doesn't realize the problem of the West goes back to the lies of Plato - from the wrong music theory. Anyway so this also goes into Brahmin Vedic philosphy since the symmetric math logic is from Vedic and Zoroastrian philosophy - as math professor Abraham Seidenberg details.
On full lotus - yes Robert Peng, qigong master, did a livestream recently on youtube, saying how when he was young he was much more flexible but now that he is older he is not as flexible. So to maintain the flexibility requires constant body training. Ramana Maharshi though relied on his helpers to take care of his body - I guess the caste system does that also with the warriors protecting the brahmin priests, etc.
Anyway DNA science has now proven that indeed a Brahmin "invasion" did occur - via chariots - and this can be traced via the Brahmin caste throughout INdia. It's pretty fascinating actually - and so is the denial of the science. haha. I said "Silence is Golden" I think - that is what you meant but typed "science is golden." haha.
As Poonjaji pointed out the "Nisargadatta" - - Nisargadatta he did not have any shakti power. The shakti is a natural expression of the "sahaja samadhi" that you refer to. This was a disagreement I had with David Godman back 15 years ago. He claims that Ramana Maharshi did not need to practice meditation anymore after his experience of Nirvikalpa samadhi at age 16. Actually Ramana had to practice meditation nonstop for 9 years - even refusing to see his own mom!! Only then did his heart stop for 15 minutes and he permanently "cut the knot" to achieve eternal liberation. So the Western Advaita scene in my opinion is full of lots of left brain ego that disregards how much meditation and the precise circumstances necessary. This is exactly why someone like "Nisargadatta" is more popular - since he has an intellectual approach with no shakti and so it is more accessible for Westerners.
The multiple personality disease thing is interesting. Qigong master Yan Xin points out - in his book "Benefits of Internal Cultivation" (the title is approximate - ) - a friend of his was spending a lot of time with Yan Xin while Yan Xin was doing healing all the time, as he does. So Yan Xin had to warn the friend that he would end up absorbing the blockages that Yan Xin picked up from the healing work he did! Sure enough this is what happened.
The repetition ofWaheguru, Waheguru should continue and
should collide with navel. Then navel will completely open. Thisopening is just like the opening at the time of death and navelopens completely with the last breath and the body dies. But whennavel opens completely with the strike ofsound ofWaheguru, bodyremains alive but the mind dies. Then the Supreme splendourspreads and the tongue becomes quite and does not repeatWaheguru, Waheguru
