KBS Asphalt in a spray aerosol can! One can lasts a long time...

I just applied the asphalt as a toe covering on some new boots - normally you clean asphalt off a boot but I want to protect the top of the leather toe that otherwise quickly wears down to the steel toe... (Tuff toe is a 2x polyurethane hardening paint that is also used as chassis paint but it is very expensive!! $350 a gallon!)... yeah not sure if this asphalt will cure dry or not on my new boot toe? hahaha.

my previous blog post says this stuff stays "permanently tacky" - so maybe it doesn't dry hard even? It's gonna stay soft but not come off as easily as lanolin oil? hmm. It could be just another type of lanolin like oil... sure but interesting.

It seems to apply very well - a strong spray - lots of force out of the can (and no droplets) - wow!! I'm excited - I got 12 cans of the stuff. I was tired of constantly having to wipe off the Fluid Film whenever the vehicle needs to be jacked or lifted... so the asphalt dries hard yet flexible...there's NO rubber in it. So it's not gonna crack like paint or rubber....

Then I sprayed the vehicle frames - one spray can is very tall and I'm still not empty of it - I covered almost the whole length of one side of the box chassis - and then I switched cars to the underbody jack points on the frame...

KBS UnderCoat produces a very tough, yet flexible film with excellent adhesion, and helps prevent road salt from eating away at your car's metal and fiberglass.
