It's Yellow

Can't use it. It has a yellow tint. Ruined my white paint. I wouldn't use on darker colors either.

2) Has some flake in it and left a yellow tint

Wasn’t aware this clear had flake in it, also dried with a yellow tint I think due to the flakes. Cant recommend this product

3) 1k Clear Coat leaving yellow-ish tint !!!

Hi all, I spent tons of hours to match the color of my car with the Dupli Color automotive paint.
As last application I thought to stick with the same brand for the clear coat... BIG MISTAKE !!! DO NOT USE the Dupli Color Clearcoat on colors you intend to match...

My white bumper turned unevenly yellow tinted from the 1k Clear Coat ! What a waste of time and money !

4) Yellows white colors

Tried it the first time about a week ago thin coats as directed, (humidity and temp controlled environment) turned all the color matched parts yellow, tried to let cure and wetsand and just no, so thinking it was user error reread directions with another light color base, and same result by the second coat and another wasted day of prepping and painting

5) Bad. Made my Toyo Super White yellowish.

Not easy to apply even sweeps. Worst of all, the coat is not "clear." It is yellowish. Even the residuals on the white spray head look yellowish. I will sand the clear down to see if I can get my Super White II back.

Yellow tint

Yellow straight out of the can. Unusable on white paint. Might be okay for other colors.

If I could give it one star, I would.

Horrible product. Should put a warning- not to use on white paint. Yellowed like crazy. Light coats, 50% overspray- doesn't matter. Bought 2 cans and wish I could've saved the $40.

Urethane and oil-based topcoats are known for yellowing over time.

Dupli-Color 1K Clear is a high-performance clear coat recommended for use over most any Dupli-Color product for added protection, appearance and performance. Available in both an extreme gloss or matte sheen, the urethane-modified formulation provides a high-quality finish, film hardness, gasoline resistance and UV protection to deliver best-in-class clear coat results.

Don’t Use With White Paint!!!

i ruined a nicely two tone white and black rim paint job, this clear definitely turns your white yellow. ended up selling the wheels to someone that wanted to make them yellow and black so i guess that’s a good thing lol

Yellows with white paint

It does shine very well but it does yellow it’s a yellow tint it might work on darker colors but not white and the can should say that but it don’t

I think Dupli-color should recall this stuff, and am surprised they haven't figured out that their product is garbage.

I made same mistake with same product on a white truck 10 years or so ago. The yellow tinge was pretty noticeable on white. I’ll never use their clear again.
