Thank you for the Kauffman and Connes references.  Just looked at Connes talk, very interesting!  It shows how the non-commutative geometry produces  discrete energy level structure.  One day we will be able to obtain the rest mass spectrum of the ‘elementary’ particles using these ideas?

Always interested in Lou Kauffman’s work.  I have been studying section 17 of his book “Knots and Physics”.   He writes “With this interpretation of covariant derivative and parallel transport via Wilson loop, we can recover the gauge theoretical analog of curvature via parallel transport round a small loop”.  That arises from the twist in the path which I have shown corresponds to the Coriolis energy hidden in Feynman paths!  I haven’t yet been able to link it to gravitational entropy.

Here we have an academic article documenting the increase reporting of child sex abuse experience by homosexuals 

I saw this Christian evangelical documentary on Youtube where a young handsome straight evangelical male went to a gay bar - and he interviewed the homosexuals, with each one bragging that their "first experience" had been when they were a child. In other words - what had been Child Sex Abuse- had now been psychologically normalized as a good experience and definitive of their moral character. I can not find this doc again but the above paper indicates that the "self-reporting" at a clinic of numbers at least as high as females as victims of Child Sex Abuse - may in fact be underreporting.

So this academic paper is arguing that because the adults who were victims now consider their abuse to have been a favorable experience - therefore it was not abuse. Very creepy.

 

 

 Why would they not realize that it was precisely the experience of Child Sex Abuse that caused them to later identify as bisexual or homosexual? Very strange.

Causes Are Unclear: Researchers note that it is difficult to pinpoint a single cause for the recent drop among younger cohorts.

The Hermit Lake Shelters (including the caretaker's cabin, unofficially known as "HoJo's") sit 2.4 miles up the Tuckerman Ravine Trail on Mount Washington in White Mountain National Forest, New Hampshire. [1, 2]

Overview of Hermit Lake Facilities

Accommodations: Includes three-sided and four-sided wooden shelters/lean-tos and tent platforms serving winter mountaineers and skiers.
Caretaker Cabin: Staffed year-round by an on-duty Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) / U.S. Forest Service caretaker who provides daily weather forecasts, avalanche bulletins, and emergency support.
Winter Operations: Outhouses are open, and water must be treated or boiled directly from the nearby Cutler River
 
 

 

 Moldering privies, or slow-composting dry toilets, are more cost-effective and efficient than traditional pit or vault toilets, as they don’t need to be emptied or have new holes dug. They also tend to produce less odor.

 Humus from NPS composting toilets is domestic septage and deposits in permitted landfill or wastewater treatment plant, unless it meets 40 CFR 503 requirements as a Class A or Class B sludge. Fecal material in a form easily transported is the primary function, for NPS purposes, of a composting unit.

The U.S. Forest Service has found that recreational user acceptance of composting toilets is extremely high, since well-functioning units have no offensive odor and are considered an environmentally sound waste disposal method.

From the crest of Mount Le Conte in the Great Smoky Mountains to the isolated beach of Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park, park visitors can find composting toilets built following the latest designs and technology in national parks across the country. For NPS, perhaps the most successful example of composting toilets is at Northern Cascades National Park where composting toilets have successfully operated in 16 locations in alpine and sub-alpine elevations for almost 30 years!
