The Constitutional Showdown is here! MeidasTouch lawyer commentary
Boasberg, the chief federal judge in Washington, said he will “determine if I have found that probable cause exists to believe that contempt has occurred and if so, how we will proceed from there.”
The case is the highest-profile fight between President Donald Trump’s administration and a judge weighing one of more than 190 lawsuits that seek to slow his agenda.
Musk has rewarded House Republicans who signed onto impeachment legislation with political donations,
So the fascist regime is moving to impeach Boasberg for his injunction order while also moving to prevent any judge for issuing a federal injunction order.
The Attorney General will not enforce said order and the fascist regime coup will be official. By not issuing the contempt order the fascist regime coup exists unofficially - but exists just as much in practice since the judicial system is too afraid to enforce the law. A judge would have to "deputize" other enforcers of the law to issue the citation fine for contempt or the arrest order. This would literally make the military coup official and create an official civil war situation.
Already we have the Drumpf regime trying hard to be like the Hitler regime by "disappearing" people who use their First amendment rights - being declared ambiguous "threats" when Drumpf in 2016 on his campaign trial was openly promoting violence, in violation of the limitation of the First Amendment! Because Drumpf's promotion of violence was in favor of the corporate profit 100% tax deductions that "sell ads" as the information system - whereby the consumer of information is the "product" for the customer of news who is the corporate advertiser - therefore the promotion of violence openly is not challenged, rather it is embraced.
So the Drumpf fascist regime is just a byproduct of our corporate fascist "legal personhood" commerce clause and contracts clause U.S. constitution that poses as a republic of equal yet separate powers of judicial, executive and congressional branches as democratic sovereignty.
Will the Contempt Hearing be held or not?
So far there's been several situations where the Drumpf Regime has been not providing information by claiming "national security secrets" or whatever scam they want to pose.
WASHINGTON, D.C, June 27th, 2024 – On Thursday, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education advanced a funding bill that would zero out funding for Title III English Language Acquisition programs for Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25)
This $11 billion cut includes a nearly $5 billion reduction for Title I, and 17 federal education programs, including Title II and Title III, would be eliminated altogether. Member Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) decried the cuts as “attacking education on all levels” and called out the elimination of “funding for English Language Acquisition and teacher training opportunities used to increase the number and improve the quality and effectiveness of teachers and school leaders.”
The Drumpf Regime is attacking education in terms of free speech activism while at the same time claiming that hate speech does not get enough freedom as speech. What more can we expect from someone who has 14 phone contacts in Epstein's Blackbook and Sarah Ransome confirmed Drumpf as a routine abuser at Epstein's Manhattan mansion?
The Drumpf Regime is cutting the NOAA weather reporting to try to hide the global warming crisis and then not allowing the use of global warming terms by the government scientists.
Mother Nature has other plans though. So this is truly a showdown of Mother Nature versus the Missile Envy fascist regime. As Noam Chomsky pointed out - Drumpf is worse than Hitler! Because Drumpf is openly calling for the destruction of ecology on Earth as biological annihilation.
A U.S. federal judge said on Friday it was "extremely troubling" that the Trump administration failed to comply with her court order to provide details on the status of a Maryland resident it illegally deported to El Salvador.U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis demanded at a hearing that the administration identify the whereabouts of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was sent to El Salvador on March 15 despite an order protecting him from deportation, and update her daily on its efforts to secure his return.
Just this week, the Supreme Court lifted Boasberg’s order that had barred the government from removing noncitizens who are designated as members of a Tren de Aragua. By a vote of 5-4, the justices declined to address the challengers’ contention that they are not covered by the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 on which Trump relied in issuing the order. Instead, the high court found, the challengers’ lawsuit must be brought in Texas, where they are being held, rather than in Boasberg’s Washington, D.C., court.
Judges in both states temporarily barred the government from deporting Venezuelans jailed in parts of those two states while lawyers challenge the Trump administration’s use of Alien Enemies Act of 1798. The orders were the first to occur following the Supreme Court’s ruling that the administration can resume deportations under the act.
The Regime is already officially acting illegally as ruled by the Supreme Court.
In what appeared to be a unanimous decision, the high court affirmed on Thursday Xinis’ order requiring “the government to facilitate Abrego Garcia’s release from custody in El Salvador” and to be prepared to share what steps it has taken to bring Abrego Garcia home. She set a hearing for Friday, and — when DOJ lawyers asked for more time to evaluate the Supreme Court’s ruling — excoriated the government attorneys.
“[T]he Defendants’ act of sending Abrego Garcia to El Salvador was wholly illegal from the moment it happened, and Defendants have been on notice of the same,” Xinis wrote Friday in response to the government’s request. “Indeed, as the Supreme Court credits, ‘the United States acknowledges that Abrego Garcia was subject to a withholding order forbidding his removal to El Salvador, and that the removal to El Salvador was therefore illegal.’
I wonder what the "daily update" will be
But Justice Department officials said they may not be prepared to comply with her demands until at least Monday.
Ensign, notably, was the same attorney who found himself under the glare of U.S. District Judge James Boasberg after the administration declined to abide by his order to turn around planes carrying Venezuelan nationals to El Salvador on March 15, hours before Abrego Garcia’s deportation.
