  •  fascinating corporate business analysis....on the mergers of big business....

Our Twin Cities Minnesota ranks 1st per capita among the 30 largest metros – and Minnesota ranks 5th – in Fortune 500 concentration per capita. The largest private company in the country – Cargill – is also headquartered here.

133 manufacturing firms from Minnesota expanded into other states - due to lower taxes in other states....

3M is most prominent with 13 new manufacturing plants in other states due to lower taxes....

    1)  personal income tax too high (he says it's 17% but now it's only 9%)

    2) workers compensation pay too high (almost 1 to 1 against wage rates)....

The total cost of Minnesota's workers' compensation system was an estimated $1.67 billion for 2022, or $0.89 per $100 of payroll.

    3) unemployment compensation pay too high (you make as much money not working as working)

    4)  corporate income tax too high

Don W. Larson says there is no known function of the spleen in the body! Wow 1981?

    https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/sciimmunol.aau6085

The spleen is the largest secondary lymphoid organ in the body and, as such, hosts a wide range of immunologic functions alongside its roles in hematopoiesis and red blood cell clearance. The physical organization of the spleen allows it to filter blood of pathogens and abnormal cells and facilitate low-probability interactions between antigen-presenting cells (APCs) and cognate lymphocytes. APCs specific to the spleen regulate the T and B cell response to these antigenic targets in the blood...........

This function, in combination with a highly organized lymphoid compartment, makes the spleen the most important organ for antibacterial and antifungal immune reactivity.

the most recent total cost data for Minnesota's workers' compensation system is for 2023, which was estimated at
    $1.80 billion.
